Really attentive staff, cakes and coffee are are tasty and fresh. The Panatas are especially good. Would definitely return to try something from the main menu. Recommended.

I really like this place - the coffee is very good and the staff are super nice. I mostly get my latte to go but occasionally I go to the coffee shop to work or to meet a friend so I've tried their food and juices. There hasn't been one thing that wasn't to my liking. My only problem is that I don't really like the smell of food so I prefer to sit outside. But when I sit outside I'm basically on the main street / bus stop. Not something they can change but it's definitely a pet peeve of mine for many coffee shops that serve food.

Nipped in for an early lunch. Portions are healthy in size and there's a good choice of vegetarian and vegan options too. Nice to have some different lunch options, even if they mostly come with avocado. Corn fritters with slow pulled pork and a poached egg hit the spot, as did the chorizo hash. Service great and everything arrived quickly

Had a lovely brunch here. Stumbled across it and so glad we went in. Coffee was lovely (coconut milk!) And food great. Vegan options and customised another to make it vegan which was all easily done. Guys in there were friendly and had a good experience 😀

My girlfriend and I had a Eggs Benedict Royale and it was delicious and really good bang for your buck washed down by a flat white & cappuccino! Really quick and friendly service & dog friendly 😊 10/10 would recommend!

Great food with fresh ingredients, amazing coffee taste and friendly staff, super close to the station. Highly recommended ! I took a pulled pork with corn fritters, avocado and grilled halloumi + poached egg and my boyfriend took the full English breakfast. Both dishes were £12 but there are cheaper options 😋

Overall the food and service were okay. The place is a bit pricey for what you get in terms of quality. Although they open at 7am, I was told when I arrived at 7:15 that the kitchen wouldn't be open for another 15 minutes, so plan accordingly if you're looking for something other than a pastry. Interior was clean and nicely decorated and my latte was good.

One Saturday early morning a job led me to Tooting. I just needed a coffee. Google found this place for me. The guy who worked there was so friendly & cool he gave a positive push to my day. Drink was good too. Lovely unique shop.

We went in for a coffee never been there before, quick service, kind of reasonable prices for the area i suppose, great coffee, cosy, noisy when theres more than 3 tables taken so its not a quiet place to just chill and hang out rather than go in have a coffee relax for 20 minutes and off you go. Also food was tasty and looked good but the portion could have been a bit more for the price.

A warm and friendly local cafe. They were open for takeaways, and happy to let us use their toilets! We had takeaway tea and coffee, and a sausage sandwich (all excellent) A great pitstop after a long walk on Tooting Common.

The coffee is so good here, I highly recommend! The staff that work here are so happy and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, not even your baby’s pram that is clearly blocking the walk way. Food wise; I would recommend any of the smoothies and the fritters.

Amazing coffee and great service. The bus stop is right outside so I sometimes grab a coffee if the bus is more than a few minutes away. The sourdough bread is also delicious, it’s expensive, but delicious.

Lovely staff, efficient table service and relaxing experience. Coffee is spectacularly good, as is the food. I ordered their ‘Marmoset’; grilled chicken and pesto on mozzarella and sourdough with a poached egg. So fresh, really well presented. A treat. The interior used to be ace but now is a bit weird; a mix of odd lilac wall with a mural, and slightly haphazard decor, lighting and signage throughout now they’ve rightly moved the counter. Ignore that though, and it’s easily a 5 star neighbourhood gem.

This place has the best breakfast in Balham/tooting and the food is presented very well. Love all of the menu but portions could be a bit bigger. Manager and owner very friendly and the chefs really take pride in the appearance of the food they deliver to your table. The variety they put together taste amazing! Great standards and I’m not a happy person to please. Well done!

Just popped in here to grab a coffee and something to eat and I’m so impressed I had to write a review straight after. Food was fantastic (best avo & eggs I’ve had) and service was outstanding. I find the combination of good food and service is not always that easy to come by in London. The primary reason I’m writing is the two members of waiting staff working were so efficient and welcoming. Great friendly little cafe with a menu to match. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Great proper artisan coffee, handy location right by Tooting Bec tube station and the food is really good. Try the open chicken on sourdough sandwich - it was a good size and gorgeous, a very nice surprise for a little coffee shop. Only downside - but I imagine it's a work in progress - the interior is a bit unfinished and confused.

Great coffee and pastries, very unique decoration. Every chair is different! The staff is very friendly and there are AC plugs and USB charging ports everywhere so it's amazing to stop by and work a bit or just hang out for a coffee and some bite. If you are passing by Tooting Bec tube station you can't miss it. 100% recommended and table service!

My favourite place in the area without a doubt. They recently extended their menu to a lot more variety (e.g proper English breakfast) . Lots of healthy options. The staff is very attentive and friendly. What I enjoy the most is that I can bring my dog which gives me a great chance to grab a coffee during our walk. Would definitely recommend :)

Are you obsessed with avocado toasts and eggs on a Sunday morning? Wouldn't you mind paying 12 pounds for it? Yeah this is the place for you. Delicious avocado toast, eggs and bacon. Well done coffee and good customer service. They make sure that you are having a great experience.

I really only review places deserving of four or five stars. Everywhere else can get in the sea. Green Monkey do good coffee and excellent baked goods, some of their brunches are maybe on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Staff are all very friendly - always try to strike up a conversation, even when busy, which I appreciate. It can get very busy on a Sunday morning, which is a bit unfair to criticize. Also the lock on their loo seemed to be missing (I could just be unobservant) but I'm clutching at straws now. Top local cafe.

Hello! Vegan review here Nice food, one vegan option (The Vervet- pictured), great coffee (non-dairy milks available), free WiFi, plug sockets, really friendly staff. Happy to customise the rest of the menu, but it's pretty limited to avo on toast for vegan things really. I would love to see more vegan options on the menu. At the moment, the vervet is very tasty but not very filling. A big vegan breakfast would be amazing. At the moment my husband and I drive 20 minutes to Dulwich (check out the Blue Brick Cafe.. so good!). If I could walk 10 mins to Green Monkey instead for a nice filling vegan breakfast you guys would have our money every weekend

We have been coming to the green monkey since its first day a couple of years ago and absolutely love the people and the atmosphere... The coffee is the best in London and the food is simply amazing. I've eaten nearly everything on the menu and have never been anything other than delighted. We come here for a treat and the guys always make time to talk with us... A popular breakfast/brunch cafe best to book in advance for Saturdays. I was able to get a table just as a walk-in though whilst in the area for an almond croissant & coffee. Pleasant experience but the interior needs a little attention.
