Came here for a nice brunch on a Sunday and had a great experience. Staff were very friendly and the menu had really good options. Shakshuka was really nice with good flavour, the extra feta was very nice too. The prices for kosher are to be expected but definitely slightly higher. Remember cash only! I want to come back to try all of the amazing menu! To start with though, the Thai banana wrap with ice-cream was amazing. Lovely cafe and a beautiful spot to enjoy a sunny Sunday.

Really great cafe by Hendon park and Hendon station. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Decent menu with everything on the menu arriving fast, tasty and with a smile. The location is very nice as it is at the park. The prices are on the high side as it is a park cafe,and it is cash only. Overall I would definetly go back for the great food, service and location.

Unassuming park cafe with spacious outdoor seating in an unmemorable setting. Nothing here likely to challenge preconceptions nor for that matter disappoint. Service was reasonable. In the specialised realm of park cafes this easily bests most, but not all. Kosher certification.

A cafe that just does the job and they do it nicely. Friendly staff, who remember the regulars’ orders and they are helpful and easy going. Who needs a stressful staff? Coming to the park is a pleasure and it includes a stop at this cafe. Today I was short of a few pence - their attitude was so kind and accommodating, I thought - this is what businesses today are missing: HUMANITY.

Love this place. Its basic but exactly what you need on a Sunday afternoon. I recommend the fish and chips. Ask for the chips to be will done. Two things bear in mind: 1. They only accept cash and cheques so come prepared. 2. They don't have toilets and the public ones that are adjacent to the café are ghastly.

Fresh food, friendly staff and a great place to meet. Sushi is awesome! Shakshuka is to die for. They’re also one of the few park cafes that are dog friendly which helps when your in a park!! Love this place. If I could have given 6 stars I would have! You won’t be disappointed.

I have found this little gem to be a wonderful place to share a light meal with friends or ice cream and milkshakes for the kids. Jason, Val and Lilly make everyone feel at home and the food is cooked to perfection. Highly recommended - especially the crunchy sushi rolls!!

Beware this cafe only accepts cash! Yes, you read right, we are in 2019 yet no card machines! I had just walked into the park on a very hot day with 3 young children including a buggy and we were all really thirsty as we had finished all our water. We head into the shop only to be told they can't serve us, as they only accept cash. When I asked where the closest ATM was, the worker directed me to the WRONG PLACE! Yes, you bet I was fuming, as walking an extra few minutes with tired and thirsty children in the heat isn't appreciated. If they refuse to buy a card machine, at least educate all the workers on the closest ATM! I was directed to the train station, but it was actually across the street at NatWest bank. We stayed for supper. The food was delicious (my extremely picky son finished his entire plate of fish goujons and chips!) with wonderful service! They also don't have their own toilets, and the park toilets are horrible. No tissues, bins or soap, so a lot of unhygienic rubbish lying around! I understand it's not their toilet, but without those they would need their own, so should take an interest as they're customers are using the facilities.

On the positive side the food and ice cream is rather good. On the negative side, the service is atrocious and staff rude. With the exception of the owners who provide a warm service.... Unfortunately they are not there all of the time. So I only order if the owners are present and involved.

I visit this lovely place many times a year! This is the best place to eat. I visit this place regularly. The meals are very tasty, the team is friendly and the prices are fair. I like eating in this place over a tasty lunch.

They have added adult exercise machines next to the tennis courts. Good move Barnet. The whole park is greatly improved and apart from the rain what more is there to do. Even the cafe is a great boon to the area.
