Reviews of Kioskafe
R. G.
Really nice coffee and cinnamon buns! Though, the barista (noticed he's been mentioned a few times) was quite rude and unwelcoming. The outside seats are a nice place to sit if you don't mind the frosty reception.
A.
Small place for coffee and magazines, The coffee was great and the service. The staff were super friendly.
A. Y.
I ❤️ this little coffee shop. Great coffees and the print material available is fabulous. The cinnamon buns are to die for. I do echo that your experience really depends on which barista you get behind the till.
A. N.
Nice place to have a fresh breakfast and enjoy what you would like to read. Feed your mind and your body

Been going quite often to Kioskafe! Lovely place with a large variety of independent magazines. Everybody in the team is always helpful and
Coffee is good. Overall a really nice place to hangout.
T. W.
Loved this little gem of an eclectic bookshop-cafe. They have a selection of hot/cold drinks and also a small selection of bakes. Highly recommended to visit!
C. Y.
I was too early for my train at Paddington station so I just walked around in the neighbourhood and found this hidden gem in the corner. I thought it was a bookstore at the beginning but found out it’s a nice cafe. I ordered flat white and grabbed free newspaper to read while waiting for my train. Love the newspaper and magazine collections plus tasty coffee!! The BGM is so nice! I was early for my train so popped up here randomly but will definitely come over again!
m. L.
The cafe size is really small, only six chairs. The atmosphere is very relax and u can read their monocle magazine with your coffee. They also sell a wide range of design/fashion/leisure magazine
J. L.
Lovely little coffee shop and book shop! Very Scandinavian feel and modern inside. Good chilled music and friendly staff. The only issue I find is the limited amount of seating and slightly slow service. But the coffee is great! Really good tasting roast. Overall great experience.
O. M.
Amazing little place (with emphasis on little) makes great coffee and even better tea to be fair. Pastries & cookies were lovely too. Great place to sit and watch world go by or do what we did which was chat / have coaching conversations. Staff friendly and V helpful. There is some outside seating which is a bit of a novelty in British weather to be fair! ;-)
Oh and other thing is the array of journals or magazines on offer + a funny machine that looks like an industrial photocopier which I think can print a paper from any date of your choosing (within reason) for a princely sum!! (Well it's a few £)
R. S.
Lovely coffee shop with great selection of books and magazines with a small space outside to sit. Coffee is great...

Coffee + magazines + cinnamon buns
R. S.
Just got off the train at Paddington? Head straight to this cosmopolitan coffeeshop at Norfolk Place. Excellent espresso (mine was dark and short, just the way I like it), exquisite pastries, and shelves brimming with stylish magazines from all over the world. Very friendly service. Both the windowfront counter and the fenced-in outdoor seating area are great places to watch the world pass by. If you like Kioskafe, make sure you also check out Monocle Café on Chiltern Street, a sister establishment of sorts.
J. H.
Really superb place for coffee, magazines and cinnamon rolls. One of the best coffee shops in london and worth a trip from your hospital bed across the road.
B. J.
Quaint little bookshop/cafe with a fantastic range of magazines, newspapers and books for purchase, along with some monocle mags free to read while you have a coffee. Also has a cool newspaper printer where you can print the latest newspapers from around the globe. As others have mentioned, there's only 6 seats inside (with a couple of tables outside) however I had no issues getting a seat (8am). Coffee was good though not outstanding.
j. e.
Loved it. Great selection of magazine and good coffee
A.
Great coffee in a charming space a short walk from Paddington station. Fantastic selection of international titles along with a nice curated section of Monocle products
P. P.
A superb place for coffee and rolls. One of the best coffee shops in the area and always worth a trip.
Superlative.
W. A.
Finally I visited it. I expected a bigger place. Although, I wasn't disappointed about. Customer service was friendly and kind. Big range of magazines and a lot of monocle products. I had a nice talk with my half while waiting for my appointment at the UCC.
H. S.
Nice coffee, but strangley served with a small chocolate on the lid which rapidly melted to liquid. A great spot to sit and watch the world go by nonetheless.
M. E.
Amazing coffee with a different concept, I tried the espresso & flat white, prices are very reasonable
S. P.
Always enjoy coming here when I'm in town. Coffee is great as are the buns and I love to have a look over all the great magazines.
k. m.
Cute setting but the coffee is nothing to phone home about
J. I.
Great concept shop with lots of glossy periodicals and good Allpress coffee. A quiet cafe, with minimal interior and exterior seating.
D. G.
One of the most gorgeous coffee shops in London with a great books, magazines and design objects offer.
J. T.
Lovely little corner cafe, great for people watching. Loved the cardamom bun.
S. P.

I'm giving 3 stars for the place as it's beautiful... but unfortunately the staff wasn't friendly at all and the coffee taste ok
D. G.
One of the most gorgeous coffee shops in London with a great books, magazines and design objects offer.
G. C. M.
Such a great place. A lot of good magazines, great coffee. Fabio it’s a excellent barista and knows a lot of what is going on with the all magazines. 🤟
G. F.
Coffee good, but if you need a newspaper from anywhere in the world they can print you one-off.
J. I.
Great concept shop with lots of glossy periodicals and good Allpress coffee. A quiet cafe, with minimal interior and exterior seating.
N. T.
Calm and clean place
A.
Very cosy place with a library/music shop atmosphere. Excellent pastry and coffee, however lack in details as to serve a cappuccino in a glass water instead of mag with little plate and spoon.
H. A.
Small cute book store serving coffee!! Nice flavor if you feel like trying coffee other than usual Costa / Starbucks etc.
I. P.
The coffee is sooooo good. There's also an amazing selection of newspapers and magazines and you can read monocle for free because it's their cafe! The staff are nice too and they make a great flat white.
R. E.
Attractive place. Good coffee but expensive.. note there is limited space (hence kiosk) especially in winter - occasionally the arrogant hipster staff sometimes occupy seats which is unforgivable, frankly. Only some of the extensive range of arty newspapers and periodicals can be read while sitting.
D. T.
Interesting cafe. Very small with a few seats for customers. The majority of the cafe is given over to the global and international journals, newspapers and magazines it sells. A great place to bump into like minded people and have a chat over coffee!
D. J. L.
Cool and cosy space with a really interesting collection of magazines. Unfortunately the coffee (Allpress beans) was pricy and tasted a little burnt. Same goes for the pastries - £3.50 for a cinammon bun is extortionate. Worth a visit to browse but needs to improve on quality and pricing.
M. A.
I'm giving 3 stars for the place as it's beautiful... but unfortunately the staff wasn't friendly at all and the coffee taste ok
C. C.
Good coffee. Good selection of magazines. Limited seats but it's a great place to pick stuff up, and head to Paddington for the Heathrow express. That's been my regular use case since its opened.
G. F.
Coffee good, but if you need a newspaper from anywhere in the world they can print you one-off.
I. P.
Decent coffee, cute space, nice light, intellectual reading material, slightly rude hipsterish employee. Maybe slightly better than par for the course for a side street indie coffee shop, but nothing to go out of your way for.
B. J.
One of the best places for coffee in London!
Great decor, friendly service , very good coffee, a selection of fresh juices and a lot of magazines..
What else do you need for Sunday morning??
N. F.
Kioskafé combines 3 of my favourite things:
1. Good coffee - from Kiwi roasters Allpress.
2. Indie magazines - a broad selection and knowledgeable staff who'll give recommendations and insight.
3. Great design - everything from the branding to the interior.
It's a quick pitstop kind of place - not much seating, but conveniently located near Paddington. I'm a big fan :)
W. L.
Loved it! Small and cozy with great service
S. A.
The best coffee in the area
B. S.
Cozy place
New environment
Coffee is soooo good
M.
Cute small cafe with different artistic magazines. Their coffee was good although a little small size
E. L.
Loved it! Friendly duo working behind the counter that helped clean up a seat and bring my coffee to it while I was managing a baby in a carrier.
N. W.
Best coffee around padd/ edware road (I live in Praed so I have tried them all)
Staff genuinely friendly
Big selection of magazine and newspapers and somebody willing to help/ explain.
Few seats inside by the window (good for a 30 solo-reading), few tables outside (good for a chat with a friend in a winter afternoon, after lunch at the club).
Only thing I wish I had more was a wider selection of mags (newspapers is definitely superduper), I want to be ahaaaad by some mag, want to find something new!
PS my favourites (viewpoint and sidetracked) missing
D.
Great cafe outside of Paddington station. Coffee is from ALL PRESS. They are lots of nice and difficult to find magazines in the shop.
A. K.
bijou & perky cafe, a showcase for the world of high-concept travel, design and architecture lifestyle publishing, ie Monocle, strategically positioned opp. Frontline journalist's club in Paddington. Hosts a gimmicky machine that prints and international newspaper on demand - I'll try one day, and let you know.
I. C.
Very original shop, amazing selection of magazines and publications and true Italian-style coffee. You will love it.
A. O.
Best coffee around Paddington and really excellent selection of magazines. It is tiny so avoid traffic hours.
T. B.
Not only top notch coffee but great knowledgeable advice on design and art magazines. Will return!!
N. C.
You can get a nice Latté here, or a Mocha, Hot Choccy - (My favourites), Teas, Cold Drinks, Wines & even Beer !! Sandwices are long Baguettes & Muesli too !! & it's up-to-date, payment-wise, as no Coins/Notes are taken, only Cards !!! Very 21st Century !!! :)
S. Y.
Nice chill vibes, lovely people and magazines.
A. P.
Great coffee, amazing people and of course one of the best places that proves that print is not dead. Highly recommended.
M. W.
Great coffee shop and hit the spot for good place to focus and work. Limited seating though
A. S.
Small and stylish café combined with a bookshop. Coffee good and very nice looking pastries too.
D. B.

I. P.
Very cozy place with great coffee and cinnamon buns! And a very interesting choice of journals and newspapers!
J. C.
Great coffee, lively team, and such interesting magazines! I didn't try the print on demand paper - maybe next time?!
R. F.
Owned by the extremely cool monocle magazine, this place is great for a coffee, and reading your favourite paper
S. L.
Monocle-run kiosk with great mags, print-on-demand newspapers and coffee in an area filled with chain stores and very average food and coffee.
M. O.
Love this place. Wonderful coffee and eats plus terrific collection of magazines
S. T.
Amazing selection of print, great coffee, less-than-polite bearded staff member.
N. A.
Nice coffee and nice shop inside it but they have little seats for customer
N. I.
Very cool and quiet - everything what you expect from a normal coffee shop.
J.
Lovely coffee and huge array of magazines.
N. H.
If you are a Monocle-fan or not, perfect place for a cortado and some reading
R. H.

Staff not too friendly
M. B.

This is an interesting place, with an interesting range of publications. I would probably go back just to sit beside the window and have some coffee.
N. T.
Calm and clean place
R. Y.
Nice quiet place, friendly staff and good coffee.
A. C.
Great flat white and overpriced reading material that makes me look like a designer/photographer!
U. V.
The seating place is quite narrow and uncomfortable. Apart from that the coffee was nice.
T. H.
Lovely little place to grab a coffee before heading west.
M. Z.
it is a small and very welcoming place. I love it :)
