Best food in SW London, probably actually in my top 5 in London. The food is insanely tasty and such great variety. The portions are massive too. Have ordered dinner for collection and has lunch paratha rolls too - can’t rate highly enough. Check out their IG for daily menus, skip deliveroo and go here instead.

An absolute hidden gem; wonderful & interesting Indian food at ridiculously reasonable prices. La Chai recently catered and delivered a dinner party for us - guests were blown away. Huge sharing platter to start; the most delicious curries, daal, rice, raita and parathas for main and a saffron and nut kheer to finish. Food always has a slight ‘twist’ (amazing avocado, dill and pomegranate raita for instance) and is beautifully presented.
Highly recommend!

Such lovely owners and the food is to die for. The food is amazingly scrumptious and they offer big portions. Really, really great place!

I really want to keep this place a secret but it really is a peaceful little gem on Garett Lane. Flattering warm tones set as their decor was exactly what invited us in for some chai and shelter from the rain. Reema (owner💙) lovely lady recommended I try the Channa Chat & Masala Tea and it certainly hit the spot. We also opted for the baby chino + waffles with some fruit for my 2yr old and it went down a treat. Food arrived very quickly, service was amazing!!!

A refreshing addition to this stretch of Garratt Lane’s lack of nice cafes. This is a place where you will want to dwell. It’s cosy yet modern, with genuine owners who put great pride and care into each customer. For a coffee with a twist, light bite, or lunch, La Chai is where it’s at!

Can I give it 10 stars?? Perfect coffee, incredible waffles, amazing service, lovely cakes. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem. Oh did I mention it's dog friendly. Everything is fresh and homemade and very affordable. I 100% recommend.

Best curry takeaway I have had in years. Nothing stodgy, zinging with fresh flavours.

Great food, really interesting and well executed. Perfect for breakfast and brunch with a difference. Fab to have as a local!

An absolute hidden gem of Earlsfield. The outside of the shop does not do it the justice it deserves. Reema is so friendly and the food on offer is outstanding. Menu changes daily. Genuine Indian street food. So reasonably priced, would recommend to everyone

I had lunch a month ago and was impressed by the menu on offer. So I decided to book it here for my birthday celebration with a friend.
I was floored by the personal service by the owner. Food was amazing. We had the set course meal which served a fusion of Indian cuisines across the country. My mouth was bouncing with different flavours - sweet, sour, savoury for various dishes . It was divine. I would love to give this place 6 stars if I could. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for making my birthday a memorable occasion.

My wife and I and kids have been going here since it first opened. The cafe also catered for a party we had at the Tara Arts Theatre. It’s an absolute and complete gem. Fabulous for kids as well. Lovely authentic flavours. Great staff. Completely dedicated and delightful owner. The best Indian Street food in London. Also excellent for set take aways. Deserves six stars!

Fantastic, super friendly service, always kind and caring, and its always clean! I literally can not have enough of eating here as I feel at home every time. Also price is very reasonable and affordable, I absolutely can not recommend this place enough!

I have just had a lovely, light but very tasty lunch here. It was delicious. I would be happy to recommend. There is a wide selection of street food and paratha rolls but they also offer salads and children’s food. Already looking forward to coming again. PS a pretty cool playlist as well

Such a fabulous (and much needed) addition to Garratt Lane. Not many places warrant a five star more than La Chai. I would have happily rated 6 stars if there was an option to do so. We had an amazing lunch - very fresh, tasty homemade gorgeous food that will only make you want to taste the whole menu. The coffee was amazing too. As for the homemade brownie - heaven!! The staff were lovely and made us feel so welcome. Love love Loved it. Can't wait to come back. The best eatery/cafe in Wandsworth by far.

Simply an amazing undiscovered GEM! The curry is fantastic and totally authentic. Everything has its own distinctive flavour and spice. One visit will change your view on traditional English curry!!

Delicious! A small local cafe but food truly outstanding.
Had the set dinner menu and was blown away. Amazing value for money. You won’t walk away from the bigger giants as satisfied.
The puchka/puri style dish is a must
The mains are Indian/sub continental staples and the carrot pudding (Gajar Halwa) was nothing I’ve ever had before! I will be on the lookout for that again.
Service is great, like you’re dining at a friend’s home.
Gorgeous fuss free food, lovingly presented in in a warm setting. Will be back.

Just found this great place! Popped in for a quick lunch. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly friendly and the decor is lovely. Had the chickpea and potato paratha roll and masala chai which I would highly recommend and the portions were generous. Hubbie had a lovely flat white and Sheekh Kebab paratha roll also very tasty. Side salad was fresh and a nice addition. Will definitely be back and will bring our friends 😁

Love this place! The decor is very feminine, granted, but all the pinks and greys are perfectly coordinated. Their food is amazing, and although I cannot take very spicy food, their recommendations were great. Absolutely mad about the la chaa, filling yet light, healthy yet comforting. I hope it get very popular, i always fi ish mine in 3 minutes!

Beautifully presented boutique like cafe and such friendly staff.
I came here with my sister, we both agreed it was amazing and that Garett lane had been in need of a little gem like this for a long time.
I had the vegan Budda bowl and a soya chai latte, and my sister had the Budda bowl with chicken which she said was really good, and for afters we shared a brownie which the owner decorated for us beautifuly with strawberries and cream. The portion sizes were very generous, and it was great to feel so satisfied after having somthing that healthy and at a very resonabrea price, la chai certainly know Thier flavours and how to create a stylish and welcoming atmosphere, we will definitely go again!
A. D.
Love it in here. Really good vegetarian breakfast options and food is prepared with care. The karak chai is really lovely so would recommend! They also cater for events which I have not actually done yet but intend to for the future!

Wow. This place seriously impressed me. The food was excellent, flavorful and varied. So happy to have found a great little cafe. I’m sure I will be back and I would highly recommend the samosa chaat or the chicken Buddha bowl. Mmmm! Can’t wait to try more items on the menu.

4 stars based on one experience of it where I ordered a chicken tikka wrap (through uber eats) which is good if you want something a bit different. It's a bit like a samosa in terms of the wrapping itself and the ingredients. I will definitely try this place again.

Fantastic food! We came after they closed already but owner was really welcoming and let us order full meals. I had paneer naan pocket that was to die for! Fabulous and priced better than reasonably (not even £6 for a main!). Amazing before cinema find! Will definitely come back!

Wonderful cafe, I didn’t eat as I’d eaten already, but friends food was delicious. Coffee superb and I can’t wait to go back and have some food. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful and very attentive. Plus we didn’t feel rushed and chatted for ages in this lovely cosy little place. Thank you La chai ☕️

Really cute and gorgeously presented desi place. Hits the spot in terms eith innovative palate and homely-ness, and really approachable flavourful food at the same time. Feels desi but healthier! Didn’t even know that was even possible but this place knows exactly how to do it.
