Very Clean and Welcoming little Cabin Cafe with an Anglo-American angling theme. Only concern was the pre cooked sausages waiting to be reheated (Not a good sign of freshly prepared food). Opened around 9am. Usual Cafe food breakfasts and burgers etc. Staff were polite and service was swift. I have seen another review that was quite Negative. It’s a shame some people only review after bad experiences. My experience was a pleasant one Oh and bring Cash as no card payments are excepted!

In this difficult times when going out is a problem, we are happy we discovered this little treasure. Every weekend we make our or way to Hollow Pond and walk arrows and stop to Lakeside Diner for a hot coffe and a ptasty portion of chips. They are always working hard to please every customer. Thank you!

A cafe next to Hollow pond (Epping forest) I didn't tried the food. I really tried to find a good points of this place. Good: Well, the coffee is £1.20 only. Some nice chairs to sit in front. Bad: - the coffee. I don't know how they make it, but it is not good. It is a real example what should not be sold as a coffee. No taste. At all. And I have tried the coffee several different times. - No toilet, or a place to wash your hands. May be this is not a problem for someone, but... It will be nice have it. - You are sitting next to the passing cars. A lot of passing cars on a very busy road. What a lovely place to breath deeply, isn't it. Why don't you try to move the chairs on the other side? - Sometimes it is just closed (not working)

This was the pit-stop for one of our cycling trips. We stopped there for some quick refreshments. The place looked alright, but it is rather small and it.is right next to a busy street, so don't expect it to be peaceful.

Hi everyone, i had a juicy burger and chips in here today and it was the best i have had in ages, i have tried everywhere but this place has the real deal, cooked to perfection by a lovely lady.
