Reviews of Le Delice.

This place is packed on the weekend. Be prepared to wait for a table. Ordered a full breakfast which cost £7.99 and the Egg Royale which came with avocado and a light salad for £8.20, both of which were great. The pistachio delight cake (£3.99) also went down a treat. Would definitely recommend dropping by. Update: visited again and was disappointed as full breakfast was lukewarm/ cold, savoury crepe was sweet, orange juice all over the floor which I had to clean myself with a napkin. Also note there is an extra charge of £1 something for poached egg with the full breakfast that may be mentioned or may not be mentioned (this is what I was told by the member of staff when I said that I ordered the same meal the week before and an extra charge wasn’t mentioned) that isn’t up on the menu board (it should be), needless to say I was not impressed hence the dropped rating.

Nice place for a light bite/coffee/lunch. Great location for Ladywell station (15-20 sec walk) if you have to wait for a train, you can see the platforms. Good range of cakes, baguettes, coffee & more. Friendly staff, good atmosphere

Very authentic French cafe. Very typical of the kind of places real French people actually eat in over in France, in my experience. Good coffee. Excellent cakes. However it's not cheap!

The family place in Ladywell. The staff are so friendly and the coffee is to die for. The French Cafe vibe feels like France; the savouries are superb and the patisserie are ethereal. Glorious.

Already my favourite local patisserie! I wanted to commend Le Delice for the great customer service and the measures put in place to be able to deliver during this pandemic. I received my order at the delivery time of my choice, the cappuccino was still hot and the baguette warm and toastie. Did I mention extremely delicious. I also ordered for 2 separate addresses and was able to have a virtual breakfast with my sister-in-law. Thank you Le Delice xx

Good for a coffee and a croissant, although the cake counter looks very impressive. They also do a selection of light bites and have a range of veggie options. Friendly staff too.

A mixed bag- good find near UHL, nice place with outdoor seating too. Ordered a crepe with goats cheese and vegetables, and a ham and cheese omelette (both on the menu). Was told they'd have to check this was OK with the manager?? Turned out the manager said it was fine... Was tasty but presentation was lacking, no side salad or accompaniment. Cakes are delicious, would go back for those alone.

Nice place with good quality food. The only problem is the quantity of the portions. Very very small to say the least.
I ordered the full English breakfast at £7.99 & was very disappointed with size. I had 4 mushrooms and half of a tomato. How on earth is that a portion! For £8 I expect to be fed and satisfied at the end of my breakfast.
Another issue I had was that there staff need some training on allergens. I asked for a dairy and egg free item and was offered a Mediterranean veg ciabatta with CHEESE. He said that he can take off the cheese!! It's an allergen...
Staff were friendly on the plus side.

Pretty good place. Friendly service, nice interior, plenty of seating. Had a mocha, not the best I've had and could probably do with a double shot rather that a single, almond croissant was nice. Reasonable prices and lots on the menu, plus they will make things not on the menu. I will definitely be back for more.
