Reviews of Le Signore Snack Bar

Not sure how I stumbled across this sandwich shop and now I have been returning 10 years later. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, there is so much variety available to the customer leaving you full and content. Lovely staff and tasty food. 5/5 for this hidden gem in the heart of Victoria.

Went for a quick breakfast before a long bus journey, only 10 mins walk from Victoria. The service was fantastic and fast, the selection of sandwiches and paninis is really really good(I got a croissant and bacon cheese mushroom sandwich.. for £5.80!!) . I got a takeaway but the atmosphere inside is warm and cozy. Will definitely come again!

What a treasure! Amazing home cooked quality winter food. Friendly staff. A must visit if you in the area and looking for some soul food.

Great little Italian in the heart of London. Great pasta. Amazing coffee. I will be coming back

Amazing paninis sandwiches coffee everything you would want for breakfast or lunch. Lovely people running the place too. Grazie
N. H.
Great neighborhood atmosphere. Killer espresso paired with warm hospitality
D. C.
Just about the best cup of tea you can get and the friendliest welcome too. No rip off prices either.

This is a great little greasy spoon! Prices are reasonable and service is excellent. There is a great selection of sandwiches and cakes and I have always been made to feel welcome.
There are a few seats inside (and out) or you can choose to take your selection away.

Very reasonably priced for the location right at the heart of London's centre, with very friendly and kind staff that take care and put effort into what they do. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite to eat or a coffee in Central London.

Great place for a quick Italian-style lunch. You can eat in or take away. Sandwiches are very filling and tasty. You can order from the menu or customize your own, including what kind of bread you want. The people who run the place are very friendly. Prices are very agreeable. It can get a bit crowded by the counter. The Sicily sandwich is highly recommended!

Friendly local cafe which I can highly recommend.

As a tourist, this was a great place for a (very!) affordable lunch after visiting Buckingham Palace. The owner definitely has a way he likes things to run, which was a huge part of the charm for me. He gave me an approving smile when I ordered my coffee without sugar - too cute. He paid attention to make sure our kids got their sandwiches the way they wanted them. Yummy pastries and coffee too. Our family of 5 ate there for under 20 euro, which is pretty hard to do in London. Not enough seating space for a family of 5, but we were happy to take our meal to the park anyway.

This was one of my favorite stops each day!!! I miss the people there so much! Made friends, enjoyed delicious food, and hot chocolate. It was so convenient to my hotel and palace. I stopped by to say goodbye before I left London and missed the owner . I was disappointed as she is a lovely person. I recommend this to anyone visiting London and close to the Buckingham Palace. The food is delicious and very affordable. I will be going back in January and plan to stop each day again!!! I enjoy finding a place the locals frequent. This is by Bella (Jennifer Watkins) US!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I posted to Facebook.
I will return!

Lovely little cafe selling top notch grub for pennies. Bacon roll in a proper Italian roll with really nice bacon & a proper mug of hot tea £3.10. In the shadow of Buckingham Palace where everyone else is ripping off the tourist or casual traveller this is a gem of a place. And the staff are warm and welcoming too.

On a day trip from leeds found this place 2 mins from Victoria coach station. Spotted builders outside and exiting which is a good sign. Small inside but got a single table and orderd the full breakfast with a latte. £7 so very reasonable and Lovely breakfast just what i was wanting and nice latte 👌🏻😁😁 all the food was top quality especially the sausages and bacon so top marks ill be back 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Nice little unprententious snack bar where they serve breakfast for early birds. Right next to Buckingham and not far from Victoria station where Eat. Pret A Manger, Billies, and other cafes charge you a hefty price for mediocre bread. This joint is much cheaper.
Tasty, heated baguettes served with melting butter and the choices are good. (once I choose spinach, baguettes and smoked salmon for breakfast).

Ordered a grilled panini and water for a snack after a visit to the royal mews -the sandwich was good. However, a male employee - which I assumed was the owner/manager - had a lively telephone conversation which increased to cursing, despite the cafe being nearly full. He also insulted me to the customer after me for paying with credit card.

Really good breakfast and good price and the guys running the place are really friendly.

Have a mixed feelings about Le Signore!
Background:I was part of group of old senior citizens visiting the Royal Mews and the Royal Buckingham Palace. Our tour operator told us to leave our food on our buses. That was obvious that nobody is allowed to eat or drink inside those places. The group was given specific time slots to visit the places. All elderly people thoroughly enjoyed their tour to the Mews.
The next station was the Royal palace and we had to enter bit late. We had almost an hour. People started getting hungry and they even didn't know English properly, so we had to find them places to have something and use their restroom.
I took two families-5 of us to LeSegnor opposite to Mews, as it was nearest place to eat. The place is real cozy. Few seats outside and few more inside. They do have restroom which was exclusive for the customers (that's logical!). They offered a variety for breakfast and coffee, too.
I have no complaints about the ambiance, food and people. Everything was absolutely OK(!). The only thing I am not satisfied was I was not given a proper receipt of my purchase and the man(who looked like the boss) verbally added and took the money.

Amazing spot! Cozy and the most friendly owner!
T. A.
Extremely friendly group of people cooking. Don't let the looks deceive you. They will serve you good food at a very fair price including the best scrambled eggs I've ever had!
N. Č.
Really tasty panini's. Love it. Absolutely amazing little Italian place.
K. P.
Lovely little Italian run cafe just off Buckingham Palace Road, very friendly service and great value food.
J. C.
A real gem ! Some of the best food I have had in London , I have not used any other snack bars since I found this place . I recommend this to everyone I know the Texan Sandwich is the best with the meatballs very close second .
R. C.
I literally just bought a sandwich from here and came back up to the office to write a review. Such a cute little cafe. Had no idea that the owners were Italian until I read the reviews. I will go back again to try their Schnitzel panini they were making for another customer!
R. W.
Legend spot, quality wholesome food!

Friendly welcome and flexible menu selection e.g. option to have one slice of toast with honey. Not prepacked and request not met with robotic reply. The prices are affordable.
A traditional breath of fresh air amidst a capital City overcome with a cacophony of noise and lifestyle pollution. Many thanks to all the staff. Your hard work is appreciated.
L. J.
This charming place is right next to the palace. The staff is so sweet and recognized us when we visited them a second time. Excellent lasagna and cannoli. They are worth every penny.

No reason to not come here again . 2 vegetarian breakfasts and 2 coffees £15.

Best breakfast sandwich and the coffee....woooow...this is the best food we have had all trip!!! The owner and staff and so sweet and lovely! They made our trip to London 😍
B. P.
Great breakfast at a great price. A lovely local business.
B. P.
Very small, cramped Sicillian cafe near Buckingham Palace, which appears to do a roaring trade in takeaways. What it lacks in facilities and style (quite a lot!), it makes up for in food quality and atmosphere. Ver good prices too.
T. F.
Small but warm welcoming, the food is exquisite, I will definitely be coming again.
J. K.
I enjoyed the sandwich. However, please remember that overturning ‘Arigato’ or ‘Nihao’ to an Asian person is one of the acts of racism, so people who are not Japanese or Chinese can be offended.
S. W.
Many happy breakfasts and warm and friendly welcome from the staff every time. Great banter. Shame I don't work close by these days otherwise I'd still be going there.

One best and few remaining proper cafes serving the great and British worker. Italian owners and staff. Fresh tastey food.
H. V.
Love this little place! So quaint and friendly. Really tiny place, very good affordable food. Just off the main street so it is a hidden gem.
R. B.
Great service. No delays and friendly. Good quality fresh food at a good price. Recommended you visit. Tina is lovely.

The most amazing place in London! Amazing food and amazing owners. Fresh product. Italian owners. We would love to come back when we be again in London.

I will give 4.5 but there is no such rating. One star less is because of warm enviromment and a slightly small shop. But thats london , food is almost perfect
M. W.
The food was delicious. The staff were friendly, fast, and attentive. The portion sizes are generous. This is a great place.
