Reviews of Levant Book Cafe

A gem tucked away in the middle of the industry estate next door to a fast food restaurant, it can be hard to find. But u do feel transported to the middle east. Aside for desserts, they also sell food, books and home decor I have visited a few times just for the home made ice-cream. I like to get a mix of flavour, they shape it like a flower in a plastic cup. They have pistachio, mango, strawberry, chocolate, and other various flavours.
Service isn't the best at busy time - u do end up standing around waiting to order, usually only 1 person working at a time. They don't have a card reader so u either have to pay cash or bank transfer.

A very nice cafe with different atmosphere, we are regulars here as we find it the best place to offer Syrian brunch and Arabic desserts, if you like to try new food then you most try the Syrian brunch here. The desserts it is hits and miss, the same desserts will taste delicious at one visit and less than average on another’s, I don’t know the reason why but in general still much better than other places. The customer service is fine the staff are nice but again this is another area where it hits and miss, probably depends on how busy they are.

An adorable little cafe with beautiful culture and a vibrant atmosphere. Hidden in the oddest location surrounded by warehouses, it offers a sort of secret garden experience to those willing to find it.
There are some small delays and slight professionalism and timing issues but they can mostly be overlooked if you allow yourself to be emerged in the culture surrounding you.
All in all, a lovely place for traditional desserts and light savoury dishes.

A sweet little gem tucked in Park Royal’s Standard Rd. We tried the knefeh, today, and it was the best we have had in London. Authentic Damascan preserved fruits were also lovely.
The sitting arrangement makes you feel at home. You can have a break with your friends and family, enjoy a cup of coffee and play chess.
We’ll most certainly be back to try the cooked food and add to the review.
Lovely, warm and genuine customer service, too. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place to relax and spend time with friends. Pretty authentic decor. Very tasty, rich flavoured ice cream and Arabic sweets/ desserts. They don't have a hardback menu though so you choose from what's available at the counter and some desserts are freshly made on request. Good service
You also have the choice of borrowing a book from the shelf for up to a month, which is a bonus.
Parking can be an issue though as there's only space for about 3 cars.

Cannot say enough good things about Levant Book Cafe, the desserts and Syrian coffee are out of this world. The owner is extremely passionate about what he does. FYI there is no table service, you must order at the till.

The atmosphere was amazing. Loved the Syrian sweets and the traditional Syrian ice cream (bagdash style). Also tried Sujk (سجق) sandwiches and they were very nice with Ayran (yoghurt drink). Definitely worth visiting !
