Possibly the best coffee and brunch in the SE We have been coming here since it opened 5 years ago and a testament to how good it is that we are here every week. So pleased this is on our doorstep as we love supporting local independents, we love our food and good coffee. The coffee is brilliant and the food is spectacular. Given the small size of the premises (in the railway arches in Deptford Market Yard, part of Deptford train station) and the popularity with support from locals, expect to wait over half an hour for food and during busy times a wait for the small amount of tables. Take the time to soak up the atmosphere, take something to read or a good friend for company. The food and coffee is worth the wait as it’s made with love and care and your supporting real people. We love the toasted avocado and chicken sandwiches, bagels and sweetcorn fritters but have tried the whole menu and it’s all amazing. There is always a delicious selection of cakes, pastries and treats which go hand in hand with exceptional coffee.

It’s been a while since I last visited Lomond and it never fails to be amazing!! After craving the best latte in London I visited this morning for brunch with my 3 year old daughter. The staff were so friendly and kind and she felt so spoilt with her hot chocolate and brownie. I brought some coffee beans to use at home in our coffee machine to try and recreate some Lomond magic at home!

Love supporting the local businesses so this is where I always have my coffee, whether grabbing one for takeaway or meeting up with a friend. The staff are friendly and am always impressed with how much they manage to do in small space - which I’m glad isn’t any bigger, as otherwise it’d be a magnet for new mums and UFO sized prams!

Excellent coffee! Defo a place for coffee addicts. Due to covid there is no indoor tables and the outdoor bit gets quite busy and it is hard to get a table, so if you are looking to give it a go for breafast/brunch choose quiter times.

Discovered Lomond last year and have pretty much visited every single weekend since; hands down the best place in London and everyone should know about it. The brunch here is probably the best I’ve had in London. It’s reasonably priced with a great varied menu. The only drawback is that it’s a tiny place and super busy, so expect a long wait! But it will be worth it when it arrives.

Good things come in small packages. This is definitely the embodiment of that idiom. It's tiny, but packs a punch you'd keep coming back for again and again. Food is moreish. Coffee, splendid. Staff, friendly. Even during COVID times, when I'm trying to save money, cancelled my gym membership, netflix and all that. I still can't shake the weekend breakfast visits to Lomond. Also, the coffee, try it, you will come back for me. Luckily, they sell their coffee. If you support women entrepreneurs and great taste in coffee, buy it. It's delicious.

Amazing! I go for brunch around SW London almost every week and I've been to all the well known spots (brickwood, milk, mud, brother Marcus etc) and I feel like this little coffee in the market has been the best so far! The service is lovely, the good and the coffee really good and the vines amazing. I had to wait a bit to get my food but once the plate is on the table you already know it's worth the waiting and when you taste it you're mind blown! Keep it up!! I'll tell all my friends to give it a go :)

Having pretty much tried every coffee shop in Deptford - this is my absolute fave. For one reason and that is the quality of the coffee! The coffee is roasted in the shop and is the best price coffee you will find at this quality. Not bitter not sweet a perfect balance I find. Furthermore the women (Lindsay and Hayley) who own and run the business are the loveliest people you’ll meet.I just wish they had more branches closer to my house!! If you want high quality coffee in South East then go here you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely food and coffee, smashing taste of the sandwiches, burrito, yogurt bowl, English breakfast and more... Food looks amazing, good presentation on the plate, size is perfect 👌caffe is brilliant. But I only give your 3 stars because the time is not great. I have been there few times already and every time the serving caffe & food is longer. So please don't stop to improve this because your place is nice and I will love to come back. Be honest I don't like to sit down for long period and get even cafe served separately when is ordered by the whole group and the first person will finished before the last will even get it.

Lomond is super! The team in there are lovely. They welcome dogs and babies. Their coffee is roasted in house and always tastes delicious. Their food menu is the perfect size with plenty for veggies, vegans and GF. The sweetcorn fritters, one pan breakfast (meaty and veggie version), tortilla and chicken sandwich are all delicious. On Saturday they have donuts too!

Delicious breakfast tried 3 different ones. St. John’s bread and bakes on offer (delicious). And they roast and brew their own coffee. My only complaint is that it took a little over an hour to serve us (3 people) Must sort out their kitchen logistics.

Fantastic little cafe/eatery serving a range of delicious variety of breakfasts, brunches and snacks accompanied by a good coffee and hot drink selection. The Shakshuka is a particularly splendid dish and probably one of the best outside of the Middle East! It's cosy inside one of the Deptford Arches with outside seating in the summertime (or on clear, sunny winter days) and pretty busy on weekends, but it is worth the wait!

By far the best coffe residence in SE london. Work takes me across london where I get to sample coffee at a variety of places but nothing compares to the hot cup of joe I have at Lomond. Roasted in house by two smart professional and wicked ladies they are a mainstay in my coffee machine at home. They also serve fab food with a varied menu. You wil also find London’s best suasgae roll houses in their delightful arch. The piece de resistance has to be the breakfast burrito - Tasty AF. Keep you the great work as you are a shining light in the over crowded coffee scene. A must visit for all.

This is a little gem tucked away behind Deptford station. The coffee was really good and also had a very tasty slice of banana bread. Found the staff helpful and friendly. It is quite small so might be hard to get a seat at busier times.

My Tuesday morning ritual is to come and have a soya latte with a peanut butter cup bar. I can't explain how friggin ridiculous this chocolate delight is! Melt in your mouth good! You would never believe it is homemade and vegan. I can't function for the rest of the week if I don't have one. The avocado and toast is the best in London and I'm obsessed so that's saying a lot! Most of all Linzi the owner and Caitlin are the best most down to earth women who go out their way to make you feel cared for. The coffee is excellent, they really know what they are doing here x

The coffee was ok. Above average flat white but not amazing. I tried that toasted banana bread with coffee Infused butter which again was ok. Above average not amazing. For a combined total of £5 or just over I felt I wanted a better experience that would stand out from the norm. Unfortunately the thing that really annoyed me was 3 loud mouth property tycoon / estate agent morons who seemed to be using the cafe as a base for their next strike. Regardless what really tipped the scales was a playlist of incredibly insipid, nicey nicey pseudo alternative manufactured neo boybland haircuts with guitars music. The sort of thing that a mollycoddled public schoolboy from the regions may think is dangerous. Why don't you play something cool? It doesn't have to be horrible or awkward to be cool. Some Brian eno, Kraut rock or even Bowie ? Honduran folk would do too. I'm afraid this bland insipid mix is symptomatic of what is moving in. At least in Kreuzberg, Williamsburg, Dalston or old shoreditch people retain an element of an artistic side. This is just estate agent music for ford granada drivers and graduate sales directors who didnt quite make the creative grade

Absolutely love this place. Brunch options, particularly those involving avocado, are great and coffee is good. Only downside is that, due to the size of the kitchen, food can be very slow - so don't try and eat here if you are in a rush.
