A warm, cosy and bright place to chill, meet up and drink amazing coffee! The acoustics in this well put together place is incredible and the service was impeccable. The brews were exceptionally well made - the filter was bright and distinct, the milk for the coffees was silky smooth and the espresso was extracted to perfection. Well worth a visit whether you’re new or a regular.

I love the coffee and pastries in Monies. In my opinion they serve the best coffee in the area. Lovely staff and delicious coffee! What else would you want? An update: it's not only the coffee! Try the heavenly Chai Latte as well... it's amazing!

Our favourite spot in Putney. Having tried all of the coffee bars in Putney this is our absolute favourite. The coffee shots are always consistent and amazing quality - we are those people who will walk 30 mins to get an amazing cup of coffee and we couldn’t be happier to have found Monies on Upper Richmond Road. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is so warm and the decor well designed. Having nailed the coffee they now do cheese and charcuterie boards on a fri and sat evening. You must go!! Each cheese is carefully hand selected from Borough Market, the meats are insane, they use amazing quality products from artisan producers and you can really taste the difference. A great selection of drinks too - ranging from wine to espresso martinis.

If you’re looking for perfect coffee, artisanal products, gorgeous crockery, delicious toasties, epic pastries, considered wine, carefully selected cheeseboards and incredible cocktails, this is the place for you! We come almost daily for the coffee, and at the weekends we’re back for the mulled wine or espresso martinis and fantastic cheeseboards 👌

Monies Coffee feels a little different from your usual coffee experience. Slick design with an inviting feel and great coffee- the V60 was amongst the best I’ve had and the staff aren’t your carbon cut baristas. My pick of the food is the Vegan toastie- really decent vegan cheese with pickled gherkins, sweet chilli harissa relish hugged by some top quality toasted Nordic style dark sourdough. In the summer dive into the hard- shakes made with top drawer Cornish ice cream and liquor. Although quite new to hood, Monies is a future classic and a great place to enjoy good coffee, weapons grade toasties and a cool, relaxed vibe.

Stopped here by chance travelling through Putney - what a fantastic find! Staff were very welcoming, knowledgable on coffee and the atmosphere was warm and cosy on a grey London afternoon. Will definitely come back - snacks looked great, although I didn’t try - I will next time! Lovely independent coffee shop.

East Putney was missing the proper specialty coffee shop until Monies opened. The coffe is really good, as they use modern equipment that helps baristas to make excellent cups of coffees. Monies is one of the best coffee shops in SW London, and definitely winning in SW15 area. As well, I can see that customers feel very welcomed, as I do too. If you love a good cup of coffee, then Monies is the place, you should go.

Really happy this place has opened up. Friendly relaxed atmosphere, good coffee and amazing ice cream! Very happy to be able to get my hands on some Moomaid shipwreck ice cream here in Putney, after having had it in St Ives years ago. I'm sure I'll soon be a regular and can't wait to try the espresso martinis and pastries!

Monies is a family run spot from the same lovely bunch as Moomaid ice cream of Cornwall fame. Fantastic coffee and even better selection of wines and cocktails. And of course home to the best drink in SW London - the Espresso Martini Moomaid Ice Cream Milkshake. Perfect for getting sneaky tipsy in the middle of the day without getting judged for boozing around your kids. The real highlight is the owner Rob Monies who, if you're lucky of an evening, will belt out a few sea shanties from his time on the Cornish fishing boats. You can't beat this place for chilled, welcoming vibes day or night.
