A really nice coffee shop hidden in the middle of the neighborhood. They have a very nice collection of cakes, great for take away as a dessert or afternoon tea. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Prices are good. Enjoy :)

Delicious brekkies, coffees and cakes. Everything was cooked to perfection - the mushroom wasn’t too soggy, bread was crispy, tomato skins peeled off nicely, eggs were right side of runny, sausages were crispy. The chocolate beetroot avocado cake was moist and more-ish. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Will definitely come back again!

Best café in the area! We have been coming to Mola’s for breakfast for almost a year now and every time the coffee is perfect, the food is divine and the service is 100%. If you haven’t visited yet make sure you add it to your list, you will not be disappointed.

An area gem! I headed out from the office in search specifically of an English-style bacon sandwich. After seeing most of the market didn't do English or wasn't open, I came upon Mola. I expressed my needs to the head waitress/owner, who assured me her bacon was notably English, as expressed by other diners. I took the plunge on bacon+egg sandwich with a coconut mocha, and was exceptionally pleased. It's exactly as I'd hoped and needed. I didn't think the bread would be toasted, I usually opt against this, but it impressed. Shall definitely be going again.

Really hate giving negative reviews but our food wasn’t great. Jacket potato with tuna was watery as far too much vinegar tasting mayo was used. Both portions of pancakes ordered were dry and difficult to cut. We had to saw through and they were crunchy. The waitress said they were home made but I make them at home and they should be fluffy and soft. My sons were embarrassed to send their plates back so they ate them. The chicken salad was ok, chicken dry. Chicken pesto on ciabatta was great and well filled. Coffees and fresh juices delicious. The waitress offered to take the pancakes back but we know what happens when you do that. The chef didn’t seem bothered. No offer of taking the pancakes off the bill. £78.00 bill, so sadly I didn’t tip. We really try to support small up and coming cafes but this total lack of service is disappointing. As a chef I would have come to the table to apologise and check the food. The American style stack of pancakes were far too thin, flat and not fluffy as they should have been. Seemed the batter was wrong and looked dry from being reheated. I will def visit again and try the pancakes to give them the benefit of doubt and to improve. Very clean on the whole and welcoming. Great decor. Shame food could have been better.

Limited vegan options, however the guys have probably the best vegan English breakfast I've ever had, and it's being served throughout the day. Great coffee, too, and very, very tasty desserts (few vegan options to choose from) 😋 Will definitely visit again when in the area

They have a number of spaced tables & awning that extended well & kept customers dry when it rained. Their staff are very friendly & the right level of attentive. The environment is extremely fresh, vibrant & clean but with a homely feel. Most importantly the food is really tasty.

I love Mola! The staff are so welcoming and the food is great. The coffee is strong, and doesn't taste burnt like some. The loose leaf teas are good too! Would definitely recommend the avocado toast and all of the cakes! Very decent prices too

Exceptional service from this lovely cafe. Didn’t expect much at first but once the food arrived it was delicious. The lady serving us went above and beyond, I asked for something that wasn’t really on the menu and they said they could make it. They even provided bread to accompany my requested meal. This is a place I would return if in the area, lovely interior and as mentioned before exceptional service. Can’t wait to return, I hope my meal request will be repeated :) The vegan chocolate cake was also surprisingly nice, beetroot and avocado chocolate cake that actually tastes like chocolate cake...

Popped in today with a friend for the first time. What a lovely place to eat. Staff are so polite and courteous. Have a great selection of food and as a vegan myself I was impressed with what was in offer for me to eat. And to top it off we were offered a lovely piece of chocolate cake on the house. Just found this place whilst on my daily allotted lockdown walk, have already been twice this week! Got the red velvet cake first time, which was so tasty and a great portion size. The next time the slice of the cake was quite noticeably smaller, which was disappointing, but not enough reason for me to knock off a star. Maybe just figure out a consistent slice size.

Attending a number of talks at The Barbican that day I dropped in for a quick tea to take out. The team and environment seemed so welcoming I made a point of returning for a late lunch. The food was as colourful and comforting as I might have hoped on a wet windy day. An excellent range of breakfast/lunch and mains, much better than average tea/coffees and a must mention for the exciting looking selection of cakes (which I need to return for!). A wonderful little cafe, which feels as though great care has been taken with.
