J.Good local cafe that does a reasonable variety of set breakfast and lunch options (all around £7-9.00). Staff are friendly and generally happy to accommodate customisations. Probably not the best for Vegans but great for everyone else. Vegetarians should get a good meal here.
W. L.I been going to local cafe for years their service it's good and fresh coffee. Info east finchley Smiles invent treatment I did not need they fake their positive reviews its corruption so be aware don't use them indeed they have FAKE reviews at 144 high rd Smiles. My lunch at local cafe and salad was good we had very fresh coffee. Its very clean comfortable inside. I recommend local cafe.

The staff are funny and very sociable, they joked around with us and we had a great breakfast because of it.
The Full English breakfast is HUGE!!! My partner couldn't finish it, I was struggling to down it all too. It was all very delicious 😋.

Great place! I often go in for full English breakfast and sometimes for lunch and found great food, choice, value for money and hardworking friendly staff. The waitress at times even points out a better value for money option from the wide-ranging menu. My poached eggs were perfect and the service was fast. Good setting too; at that time of day at least. Located opposite East Finchley Station I would say couple of minutes walk.
C. T.Good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, very reasonable prices and substantial servings. Just right for a New Local Cafe. It's actually not new: it's just that they moved from their former site where they were called the Local Cafe. Just over the road from East Finchley station, so very conveniently placed. I have used it many times.
