Reviews of Notes Coffee Roasters & Bar | Gherkin
I love my batista at Notes, she makes the perfect coffee for me every time 😊
An appealing environment for a coffee and abite to eat. A capuccino for £2.70 in a London landmark is pretty good going. The coffee is strong and flavoursome and the surroundings are far superior to your usual coffee chains dotted around. Friendly and prompt service from the waitresses and can't fault it. Pop in to Notes in 30 St Mary Axe if you're passing. You won't be disappointed.
Went here for breakfast and wasn't disappointed with the quality of the food. Only disappointment was the toaster had malfunctioned so had to have our sour dough bread untoasted. Limited seating, went early so wasn't an issue, but guess gets pretty busy given its location under the Famous Gerkin. All said, the food was 😋 and the service pretty quick. Staff were also friendly.
Nice interior, latte was ok but I expected more from a roastery. Some positions in a menu were absent (2 out of 3 desserts were unavailable). Service could be better as well.
Best coffee in the city. The staff are super nice and they have some good breakfast options. They are open late and serve alcohol.
Great staff who make great coffee - especially love the Italian coffee maker Patricia always making my visits special and welcoming when she remembers my order!
I love this cafe - the baristas are warm and genuinely love people. I especially love Marketa and Roli. It’s such a lovely space to work, and I love the matcha latte.
Good long black, coffee is roasted and ground by notes. A little more expensive but worth it. Has a little seating area upstairs which looks pleasant.
Great coffee and nice atmosphere. Ideally located for anyone visiting the Gerkin or cheesegrater buildings.
Great coffee ☕️, so lovely atmosphere
Friendly staff as well , and air conditioned place ❄️
Super friendly staff, felt like home, thanks for Roly and Marketa the nice cocktails and food, we will definitely come back.
Probably the best coffee shop in the area (yet to try Red Lion & Association as they're a bit further away). Great selection of coffees, teas, cakes and food. Bonus points for being a bar as well.
Friendly efficient good coffee
Good coffee and service but St Mary Axe branch is very small!
Really nice coffee house. Seating area is small though, but good for a quick catch up.
Great coffee, a tiny bit expensive but I would pay again because it was good.
Fantastic..you have to try the coffee..probably the best in the city
Always great coffee, and some decent beer available in a cosy little nook
Great coffee, friendly staff
Very nice and cosy. Friendly staff and good coffee.
Love notes coffee ! Customer service is great also !
Very stylish coffee shop, with a well tested and good selection of goodies
Came in today with my son in-law very nice coffee and pleasant surroundings.
Not the best, but fairly decent coffee at fair price for a city location.
Nice and cosy place to chill out on Friday evening.
Great coffee, staff and location
Grate place to grab a coffee or tea and escape from your office.
You can enjoy lunch as well.
Amazing, definitely worth trying at least once
A really good Notes, like the upstairs, cosy.
1 of the decent coffee places in London
Expensive. But worth it
Ok
What a wonderful coffee/wine bar! The staff are as first class and the venue. Great light food menu too!
Great coffee
Great coffee
The store is located on the first floor of The Gherkin, and it is inviting to enter the store.
I had flat white & croissant for breakfast.
Happy morning with friendly customer service and delicious coffee and bread🍀😌☕🥐🍀
Great place. Great prices. Very nice staff.
The cafes are very nice, it's not expensive at all for where it is.
The main interest is that it is found in the "pickle". Otherwise it's a classic coffee shop, not the cheapest but well decorated.
Fun little coffee and wine bar; few seats. Originally furnished and open to the public, ground floor in the Gherkin.
Very friendly service and very tasty cappuccino with oat milk!:)
Quick service and a really nice tasty healthy range of breakfast too served before 3PM.
Good coffee and offer almond and alternative milks which is great
The matcha latte is one of the best I’ve ever had. The menu is small but the quality is fantastic. Highly recommended
Setup is quite friendly and as you can see from the cup, stands out from other coffee shops.
Loved the environment. Great place for chilling and working :-)
The evening staff here are always super friendly, make great drinks and always have great music playing. Super chilled place to hang out in the evenings in the city and a lot nicer than the average bar round here. The coffee is very tasty too!
Nice staff. Space just a little crowded at the top.
