This place is wonderful - great food great vibes. I had a mocha and the Mushroom and cheese toasty on sourdough. My daughter had the home made pancakes egg and sausage breakfasts. it was the tastiest thing I’ve had in a while. Staff is super nice too!

I absolutely love this place! It has an exceptional warm but rustic vibe to it. The staff are just so lovely and friendly…….the food delicious. I like to come here to do some work a few hours here and there during my working week and it really helps to split my time up, vary my day when having to work remotely. I also get to socialise! The food though is just great, they even cater for those who are gluten and dairy free :) yes Me! I love my Eggs Royale! You also have to try the Oatmeal Pancakes with summer fruits and maple syrup, come on now! 😉😋 Ramona, thank you for taking care of me! Shan See you soon!!! xXx

What a find this is ... Welcoming host, fantastic food and great service. The menu is perfect as he has something for everyone and it's all cooked fresh to order. The coffee even tastes better than it smells and the aromas are amazing. Absolutely the best cafe in the area!

Ordered my first take-away from Oak through Ubereats and this is the way it looked when it arrived. Taste is ok but I wouldn't order again. It's a shame to pay more than £10 for this meal and get this. Maybe it's worth investing more in separate packaging for each component.

Eaten inside the restaurant once before lockdown and it was delicious. We have since had takeaway a few times, including three times in the past week! We like the chicken club sandwich, chicken schnitzel burger, the breakfast sandwiches & the chicken wrap. Generous portions and good quality. Looking forward to ordering again soon!

Beautiful homely place with excellent staff and a buzz to the place. We ordered a vegetarian breakfast, full English and American pancake. The first two were fabulous as was my hot chocolate. But the American pancake was a disappointment as it was not fluffy and light. But still recommend this place.

Great service and drinks but the vegan burger was awful. Tasteless burnt falafel and overly spicy guacamole. I suggest management changes the option to seitan, soya protein or beyond burger.

This is my first time coming to this cafe. I was looking for a local cafe for a vegetarian breakfast and noticed this had the best reviews. I was very happy that I decided to come here. The restaurant itself is very cute and the service I received was lovely. The orange juice was very fresh! And unable to fault the food in any way. I will definitely be coming back here again! :)

The Oak Caffe is a delightful welcoming atmospheric and intimate cafe. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. In fact, as I entered the premises, to meet friends, I became rather unwell, thankfully, briefly, but the Staff were very caring & made me feel 'comfortable' even before I sat down. I ordered a mushroom soup which was lovely and hot, but, to my taste rather watered down. There were adequately toasted pieces of white bread. My fault for not asking if there was any wholemeal or other types. I felt self-indulgent, so ordered a portion of sweet potatoe chips. These arrived in a delightful container AND I was very pleasantly surprised at the extremely enjoyable taste. Although I was happy with my first visit, it was a little higher-priced than I expected and as stated earlier, the fact that the Oak was so well patronised I was pleased I ventured there. Unfortunately, my friends had a different experience and had to return their first order (done before I arrived, so I'm unable to give full details). However, they were both satisfied with their replacement orders. Again, they, too, weren't expecting the higher price than we are used to paying.

What a sweet little cafe! Situated on a very busy corner, this is a welcome place of calm and good food. :) A great variety of breakfast food (both healthy and...less healthy ;) as well as lunch options and sweets to go with your tea or coffee.
