Reviews of Paul Rothe & Son

Very popular and traditional English delicatessen located within the Marylebone area. Great for a good quality, decent priced breakfast or lunch in the area, away from the tourists and crowds. I chose an arancini and a baguette which was a great portion and moderately priced considering the surrounding alternatives.

Went to grab sandwiches for late lunch on Saturday.
Old fashion style with quality service.
Large selection of sandwiches made on the order. Good advice and nice welcome from the staff even it was busy.
Few table to eat in.
Sandwich are generous for £4.50
Recommend it !

Cozy place, warm welcome. Possibly best toast and jam I've ever had. Kinda sad i never grabbed a sandwich for lunch here

When people use the phrase “old-fashioned” in a good way is the way I want to use it to describe this wonderful little shop in Marylebone.
Traditional sandwich flavours from back in the the day like a Salt-Beef Mayo (with gherkins and pickle) to die for.

Fresh, top quality sandwiches and soup all year round. You can literally customize every element of your sandwich, or get a tried-and-true classic combination. Cozy, English front room feel with great customer service, and one of only old school family run places out in this incredibly commercialized area of London. Note: Bring cash for orders under £5 (isn't that a great deal??)

A brief retreat into simplicity…enjoy soft sandwiches rich with mayonnaise and evocative of home, or the most fabulous soup, served modestly with a white paper napkin amidst cluttered environs.
Order the peanut butter and jelly sandwich on white bread…

Was such a lovely visit! Great friendly people and felt very homely! Coffee and cakes are beautiful! Never felt so welcomed!

Best prawn cocktail sandwich in London. Soup is always excellent too.

Great little place to grab a tasty sandwich at an affordable price. Very cosy on the inside

Delicious pastrami, pickle and mustard sandwich on granary bread. Can't wait to return. A real gem of a place.
