Reviews of Pear Tree Cafe

Very cute cafe in the middle of Battersea park, overlooking a lake with outdoor and indoor seating. Surprisingly large variety of hot and cold foods. Reasonably priced. And halal!!! Caters for many dietary requirements!! Highly highly recommend! My food was very tasty!

Dog friendly!!! The hot chocolate was wonderful but it is important to know that even if you are eating in you still need to collect your own drinks. We thought they had been forgotten and we only found out we had to collect them ourselves when we asked a waitress. By then we were halfway through our meal that had been delivered to us. An odd system. The bacon roll was amazing bacon! However, it could have benefited from something to make it less dry, an onion relish or tomato sauce for example. The salmon was beautiful. Apart from the small hiccup a lovely experience and we would like to come back!

Ate here at a busy lunchtime, food arrived fast, my poached eggs were overdone (yolk solid) but they replaced the dish with no quibbles. The replacement really was rather good so they can produce nice fare. Sweet potato chips with Chipotle mayo was a bit of a winner. The maple bacon with soft scrambled eggs was lacklustre (eggs overdone in my opinion but my guest didn't want to send it back). So a mixed review, I feel like there were too many mistakes for a four star review, but I would actually eat there again if was back in the park due to the excellent service and response from the staff (all v friendly).

Between us we had beers and some coffeee and a hot panini. All good and the outside seating was great. Not too many people and great setting if you have dogs.

Pear Tree Cafe is located in the heart of Battersea Park near the lake. The place has two sites, one inside and one outside.
The one outside is simply fantastic. All the tables are next to the lake. You can enjoy a nice drink and some food whilst you enjoy the views.
The drink menu is decent for a pub. You can find a good variety of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.
When to comes to food, you can order some pizza or burgers. Pizzas are simply fantastic. They only have 4 pizzas on the menu, but they are proper pizzas. Proper sourdough, thin and few ingredients. They are a bit pricy, but with one pizza two people can eat.
Overall, it is recommended. If you are lucky enough, some days David the Heron, the pub pet may show up!

Beautiful views to the lake, open air picnic tables and good food, toilets crowded but is nice place to have rest after walk around the park! Recommendable!

Located at the Rose gate side of battersea park where there is a kids playground and a running track arena, so can get really busy on sunny days. Has good range of hot and cold drinks and hot and cold snacks and dishes. Good amount of outdoor seating with views of the lake. Snacks can be bit pricey. And dog friendly. And disabled access.

I loved this small to medium sized cafe in Battersea Park. Really nice place, I had a Moca Coffee and it was amazing with Alpro Almond Barista Milk. I will try there flat white next time I am there. I recommend this place if you want a place to warm up in the winter or cool down in the spring & summer when it arrives. I will also try the food next time.

Very nice place, especially on a sunny day. The lake right next to the seating area makes its very peaceful with the buzz of others around laughing and talking.
The que was crazy long, pretty much all day but only takes about 10-15 minutes to get served and then they will bring the food to your table. Would definitely recommend this after a walk around the lake and sub tropical gardens!
