The breakfast they serve is amazing! I especially enjoyed the the Turkish style poached eggs, they were absolutely delicious! They also have great coffee, staff are friendly and the place is very bright and has good vibes. We had our 4 months old daughter with us and there was plenty of space for our pram! A quintessential neighborhood cafe to enjoy a bit of lunch and coffe near Olympic Park. They've got a few benches to eat your take-away. Right now there's a limited menu but it's still quite good. Huevos rancheros, breakfast burrito, burger, and a vegetarian sandwich of the day are some of the options I saw. Today they were featuring a made-to-order ham sandwich that had pickled carrots, a tangy honey mustard sauce, greens; served with chips of course. It really hit the spot I tell ya. I can't wait until they open up for in-door dining once restrictions are eased.

Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere I come here often to do some work on my old laptop. Recently came back here for some breakfast and it was epic. Had the meat big breakfast, a Mocha and kumbucha. The breakfast was impressive - sausage, bacon, egg, black pudding, hashbrown, tomato, beans, mushroom and toast. I left feeling very content, and then had a nap at home. And the coffee was nice too!

Breakfast / brunch bar tucked away near Hackney wick. Had outdoor seating for spring / summer. Friendly staff, skilled chefs, tasty coffee. Interior matches the neighborhood vibe. Home feelings. Had the shakshuka. Perfect for winter mornings. Nice size, flavours all good. Warming, just spicy enough. The sourdough bread is the buddy you need to soak up all the delicious sauce.

Nice place to grab brunch (served till 3pm) with good vegetarian options. It's a bit tucked away but close to Hackney Wick overground Station and Olympic Park which is nice for a walk before or after. It's not too busy so you can get a table pretty easily and food comes out very quickly so it's a good option if you want to drop in quickly or last minute. It was also pretty reasonable at roughly £8 for a meal so you can have your avocardo toast and not write off being able to afford a house one day. Would definitely go back to!

I love getting some work done in the corner here during quiet times, when the atmosphere is chill and friendly. Coffee is excellent, food likewise. Every time I go, I promise myself I won't spend much money, and then every time I do just that. Can't resist a meal. GREAT VENUE I honestly can't thank the Pearl and their amazing team enough for hosting my birthday party Saturday night! The team made the party prep a dream and were superful helpful at every stage. Nothing was a problem and they were quick to communicate when needed. They even planned in-person meetings around my busy work schedule. The night went super smoothly too. We turned up to a clean and well laid out venue. They even made me a personalised drink and sign which was such a lovely personal touch and much appreciated. The bar team were simply fab.. fun and friendly. They even got up and danced with the band! At the end of the evening when we were all slightly worse for wear they made the clean up so stress free. In the 2 or so years the revamped Pearl has been in Hackney Wick it's safe to say it's already a favourite among local residents. I've lived here for 11 years now and it's my first 'go-to' place for many reasons. It is situated on a street close to Hackney Wick station that is closed to any cars with plenty of outside tables and no direct noise from cars, great in summer and there are also shaded tables for those avoiding direct sunlight. They have a well chosen and regularly changing line up of beers on tap but also have an interesting selection of cans and bottles from around the world (they even have Tailgate Peanut Butter Milk Stout....Sounds weird but it's amazing!). The menu is well thought out and very well priced, I regularly pop in there for dinner on the way home from work as you're pretty much guaranteed to get something very tasty that doesn't break the bank. I occasionally bring friends and work colleagues there in the evening, sometimes without first having booked, and they will always try to fit small groups in even at this short notice, pretty impressive considering how popular it can get at times. In addition to all of the above the staff are friendly, helpful, and polite and will go out of their way to make sure you are served in good time both at the bar and with food. Couldn't recommend enough!

Really like this little place, a nice sun spot with good coffee and a steady stream of customers - but never too busy. Only eaten from here once, ordered the chicken schnizel burger. It was okay, but nothing special. Had a lot of thick creamy sauce in it that wasn't adding much flavour but was a pain to eat. Would probably try something else again.

Was thrilled to find out that a new Pearl had reopened after a prior one closed down. I'm glad to say that the food and drinks are excellent and appropriately priced. The staff are friendly. The layout of the place has a nice and cosy feel to it. The only issue with the Pearl is the lack of proper fume extraction. The hot plate grill is operated beyond the range of an extraction hood. You end up smelling like the food after dining or drinking there.

As a wicker when the old pearl was closed was really sad and empty below the hackney wick sign. It felt like something was missing but now that a "new" pearl is open is nice to see that the community has again a nice place for coffee and brunch or dinner. (Original) 내가 어쩌다 해크니 윅 까지 오게 된거지... ㅇㅅㅇ;; 어쩌다 친해진 현지인과 저녁 먹기로 했는데 이리로 오라고 해서 난생 처음 와본 동네.. 정말 아무것도 없고 약간 동인천 뒷골목 같은데 일찍 도착해서 어디 기다릴데가 없어 급히 카페 찾아 들어온 곳. 까칠하고 새침떼기 같아 보인 직원들은 하나같이 친절하고 상냥하며 와이파이도 쓰게해줬다 ㅠ ㅠ 한국인이 여기 올 일이 있을까... 그냥 한번 남겨본다. 이런 상황에 이런 카페를 두고 serendipity 란 단어를 쓰나보다ㅠ 오늘은 참 힘든 날이다.
