Reviews of Petit Bleu

This place is amazing. On Borough market there wasnt any jacket potato, but I saw this place on the map and my day was saved. Jacket potato was very good and for normal price. In the cafe was a lot of people and long queue, but employees were fast and our time on this place was pleasant.... I love it!

Going there everyday with my dog this café has a special place in my heart. While I get a coffee and a sandwich my dog is being served a bowl of chicken just because they love him. Decency and kindness is at the heart of this place. Delicious sandwiches and quality coffee served by a staff who is always so friendly and highly professional. While in other places staff comes and goes, the same lovely crew stays, they're like family and that's how they treat you, too. During the pandemic Café Bleu has been always there to make sure the neighbourhood and business community including the NHS staff from Guy's Hospital around the corner has a place which they can rely on. Rare and real hospitality for the people in London Bridge. Thank you Café Bleu!

I love this place - simple and easy access food - quick service and friendly staff. Reasonably priced - you can always see a huge queue around lunch time. Perfect place to grab a quick lunch during the afternoon. Their wraps are very good - personally recommend the falafel and hummus one - ample filling and great taste. Service is exceptionally quick and gives the feeling of a small, locally run business which cares about food. Highly recommend for a quick takeaway.

What a find, a perfect little sandwich shop in Central London that offers delicious, affordable food. Enough choice to go everyday and not get bored. There is always a little queue outside, but don't let that turn you off, take it as a sign of gold inside.

Really good coffee and the “large” cappuccino is actually large for the first time in a london cafe! Good selection of sandwiches and really good value for money. Great for a quick lunch run!
A. D.
Super tasty sandwiches - amazing and friendly group of people working here. Always helpful, always smiling. The coffee tastes great and is served with a friendly smile. I work in the hospital on Tuesdays and having lunch here with my colleagues is the highlight of our day! Thank you Petit Bleu 👍🏽

Love this place...work locally and food is amazing...coffee is lovely too! Great value and apparently the brownies are delicious too...looking for an afternoon wrap for lunch near London bridge...there's only one place..and this is it!!
M. M.
Excellent sandwiches and coffee. Could only recommend.
R. M.
Great coffee that is reasonably priced what more can I ask for. Well the brownies are also awesome and cheap! I work in the area and these guys are my go to coffee shop from now on after trying everything else around.
C. L.
Best coffee and value for money /delicious food available in the area!
It includes a variety of salad, daily hot food special and sandwich. Coffee directly from Monmouth.
The Peri-Peri Chicken and humour falafel sandwiches are my favourite!
D. L.
Good coffee spot just a stone's throw from London Bridge. Very affordable too, especially given the area, £3 for coffee and pastry. Nice decor inside too

I've just tried this place for lunch, as recommended by a colleague of mine at work.
Don't be put off by the queues, the staff are efficient although curt! This is no bad thing as you get your food very quickly, considering the amount of customers.
Fresh food and reasonable prices, what more can you ask for in London! I had the lemon and herb chicken with rice and salad, for a very reasonable £4!
Well worth a visit and likely to be my new lunch spot!
A. T.
One of my favourite places to get lunch in the area. They do sandwiches, wraps, jacket potatoes and chicken with rice all for around £3/£4. Staff are really friendly. There's an area with a few tables but it does get busy at it's so popular. You always get served quickly though. Definitely recommend!
K. A.
An amazing little sandwich shop located right near to guys hospital.
They have every kind of sandwich you could think of, from vegan wraps to nice big chicken clubs. You can even get a drink and piece of fruit to round out a meal deal.
Lovely little park round the corner too.
R. B.
Best coffee I've had in a long time, and very reasonably priced, especially for London. The coffee would have been a bit wet though, so the caramel slice resolved that issue and was delicious. Back in the area next week and will definitely be popping back in.
L. R.
Great place for a quick lunch! Cheap and fresh £3 sandwiches that they'll toast for you in a few minutes. It's very popular but don't be put off by the line as it goes quick, and the service while straight to the point gets you your food as efficiently as possible, which is what matters!
c. s.
Just around the corner from the office is this place, nice and close for coffee! They had a few vegan options for lunch, the food was really nice. They get busy at times.
L. C.
Perfect lunchtime sandwiches, baguettes and wraps at a very good price. This is my go to for lunches when in the local area, the items tend to be around £3, which is extremely good value considering the quality and size of the food on offer. Try it out if you're looking for a quick bite whilst in the area. There is a selection of tables for sitting but I tend to grab and go.
L. B.
Cheap and cheerful. Nice staff.
J. F.
Food is good and cheap. Staff are a bit strange and standoffish at times. The menu doesn't really change often but they have a roaring lunchtime trade. Price them cheap and stack them high seems to be the general business model. For the price of the food you can't complain, but don't expect much quality.
S. E. H.
I have been to many places in London for lunch- but this place tops them all. Amazing fresh, quality food with such cheap prices. I visit this place on a regular basis. Plus, the staff and service they provide, is amazing too. Would recommend to everyone.
F. K.
Walked past many times but never went in as I assumed it would be the usual £4 latte and £10 sandwich London rate.
Turns out I was completely wrong. Had a fantastic lunch comprising of a large chicken wrap with a generous slice of (really good) carrot cake, all for a meagre £4.50. Add a friendly service and great atmosphere and it's easy to see why the queue is out the door at lunch time! (moves quickly, though).
L. G.
I eat here almost everyday, the staff are nice and the prices of the food are great, sandwiches and wraps are just £3. Best place in the area to eat!
B. W.
Bargain city lunch! £4.50 for a large baguette with decent filling and flavours that you can taste, bag of crisps and a drink. Often see a long line at 1pm. Get there at 12pm to beat lunchtime rush.
A. T.
Just had a grim morning in the hospital and needed to get somewhere normal for lunch. What a find - great food and coffee and a nice normal busy atmosphere. Am coming here every time I have to go to Guys. By the way the prices are extremely reasonable and everything in lovely and fresh
A. J.
Genuinely one of the most underrated places in London. Excellent prices and fresh ingredients. The sandwiches are delish and coffee and pastry here is a great quality for half the price of other places.
D. H.
Absolutely fantastic croissant when I went. Coffee is adequate, nothing special but for me these croissants make it worth going to! Best I've had in the area. Soft, fluffy, but crumbly on the outside. Good job.
A. Y.
Was happy with my flat white the first few visits. Went back during a busier time and somehow it tasted different. Maybe they changed their espresso, but I didn't enjoy it. Their prices are fair and they have a good range of sandwiches and cakes. Probably won't go back for their coffee.
C. H.
Great quality, great value. I come here every lunch time. The falafel wrap is 👌👌🙌
G. C.
Excellent sandwiches and bagels, quick service, very honest prices
D. K.
great coffee and £3 for a baguette is just sweet! :)
A. F.
Fair prices and good service
A. H.
One of the best cafes in London Bridge area! Food tastes amazing at a reasonable price, great service and friendly staff. Highly recommended, definitely one of my favourite places in London 😊
K. G.
So so good! I go here often and the sandwiches are delicious and staff are always friendly. I will be skipping the average M&S sandwiches from now on and coming straight here for lunch.
D. C.
A nice and cosy cafe situated at the heart of London but away from the buzz of the main streets. The food and drinks are fresh and tasty, and prices are really good, too. Will definitely go back there when I'm in the area.
e.
Tasty sandwiches for very reasonable prices. My go to place in area for quick take away lunch. Can be long queue around 13:00.
D. V.
High quality sandwiches and unbeatable prices, the queue may seem prohibitive but the staff are extremely efficient and even when queuing out of the door you will have your food in hand within 10 minutes.
M. K.
Lovely soya latte
S. O.
They offer coffee from Monmouth and tastes great. I want to try bugetts or Panini next time.
D. A.
Great coffee and the best baguettes in London with friendly and quick service. The queue outside the door tells you everything but don't be put off they move it quickly!
J. M.
Best place to get lunch for under £4. The Peri peri wraps are the best. Expect a line at lunch time but it moves fast. You can pay with contactless.
P. K.
Brilliant little cafe. Great atmosphere and great food and coffee.
T. C.
One of the quickest and cheapest lunch options in the area. Don't be fooled by the long queue - it moves quickly in rotation (order, pay, wait).
J. H.
Really good food at extremely reasonable prices. Great place to grab a quick lunch.
Coffee isn't anything special though.
B. E.
The best £3 meal deal you'll get in London Bridge. Fresh and heated panini or sandwich + a packet of crisps or a drink. Goodbye Tesco's.
N. L.
Wonderful cafe - I was served by Zaki such a sweet guy! :)
m. m.
Take away only of course - first time I've tried their coffee and I would definitely go back.
N. K.
This is a gem. Great work day lunch, value for money and high quality hot foods, salads and baguettes. Highly recommended!
P. H.
Local favourite. Great sanwiches at great prices. Monmouth coffee is also superb ☕💯
M. M.
I went here for the coffee - the outside of this Italian coffee shop has all the right words about brewing coffee, temperature, milk, beans etc. but the actual coffee (I had a flat white - not Italian, but it was on the menu - which was served in a suspiciously large cup) was bitter and lacked depth - pretty much London average coffee.
L. E.
Stopped in for a snack and the food was really tasty, with super fresh ingredients. Funky little cafe, and price was amazing
R. O.
