Reviews of Polly's

What a fantastic little cafe. I had the veggie breakfast and it hit the spot just like the meaty ones did back in the day. The lady that served me was kind and attentive. The man who I assume is the chef was stoic and alluring (not in a weird way, just wanted to know more about him). I will recommend Polly's to anyone that's got the hangover from hell and also anyone that's got a craving for a cute homey cafe with fantastic and even better customer service.

Great service, warm & accommodating staff. Food is nice and fair value for money. Definitely try Polly's Breakfast.

Polly's sits one hundred meters of Hampstead Heath overground station offering basic dishes and drinks at reasonable prices. At first glance Polly's looks and feels antiquated and tired. If you are after a bright, shinny and modern decor Polly's is definitely not the place for you. The floor space is surprising large, offering plenty of space and privacy.
Polly's is one of these family run places were you order off the menu and get charged fairly. Case in point I walked into Polly's around two in the afternoon and asked if they had omelettes. The response was "not in the menu, but we can make one"! That attitude combined with the very reasonable prices makes for a good establishment if you after the basics.
Polly's is good for couples, groups and individuals looking for fresh juices, breakfast, jacket potatoes and sandwiches.

A local classic, this independent cafe has been serving the locals of Hampstead for decades and provides great variety of food and drink with personable service.
Great place to stop off for great coffee, sandwiches or breakfast after a walk around Hampstead Heath

Charming family run place. The owners are a lovely couple who always greet you with a smile. Lots of space inside. Great food and coffee. I visit it every time I go to the heath.

Had a decent breakfast here a few times. I doubt that they are busy enough to maintain desirable freshness of a fairly varied menu. Main problem is its very grubby. Traditional look has charm, but a lot of peripheral griminess needs attention. (Eg floors). Business might pick up if it were a bit more sparkling. The filter coffee was a bit stale, though this is a common finding in cafes if you dont specifically ask for fresh.
