Great coffee and brownies. Friendly staff. Home made, organic chocolate made from cocoa beans straight from the owners plantation in Nigeria.

I've been a regular at Prime Coffee for many years, with lovely quality coffee, fresh sandwiches at lunchtime and service always with a smile. I've found the staff to be very friendly and polite. The owner even took the time to show me their own range of chocolates made in-house and I've been buying them for the office (and the wife of course). YUMMY. Highly recommend

Its a very good place to eat from there panini is very good I was highly satisfied form it I wasn't expecting such a good panini love it. Very friendly staff and they have chocolate hand made and the cocoa seeds are straight from nigeria

I walk past this coffee shop regularly, but had never been inside until today. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely music, great coffee, and chocolate made with cocoa beans grown by the owner. I loved the attention to detail with the packaging of the chocolate, and can't wait to taste it. The owner was so friendly, I will definitely go back again (and recommend it to others)!

I came here for morning hot drinks with my daughter a few weeks ago, we were staying at a nearby hotel to celebrate her birthday. They have REAL coffee here, and they know how to make their drinks properly! If you are a coffee lover, or mocha lover like me, you won’t be disappointed. They know their stuff here, not just a flimsy coffee shop serving up weak drinks, it’s defo worth a visit if you want something hot and good! If it was closer to home, I would defo make this my weekday coffee go to

Service with a smile and great coffee. The cocoa nibs are home grown and the brownies are the best I've had. Dense, rich and chocolaty; perfect! Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks Jazz Man, from your roller skating friends :-)

Small private local business that gives service with a smile. Coffee and tea is lovely and some cakes, crisps etc for sale too. Seats & tables available outside and lovely view across the dock to London City Airport.

Staff was very friendly and even though they didn't know us (we were very tired from the trip and it took us longer than usual to choose from a menu), they didn't push or hurry us. The sandwiches were very fresh, warm and delicious. I reduced the star because of the surroundings which were not so great.

It's only fair that I write a few words... Their coffee is very good indeed. Some people complain about it but I suspect are those who love instant coffee and have no clue what an actual coffee should taste like. The service has always been very good. Everyone is always courteous when serving you which is all you can ask for. Why 4 stars? There's always room for improvement. When the place is full, it will take a while to be served and feels they rush things a bit making the end product not as good as it should. This happened to me when I ordered breakfast. The food was ok but the temperatures were not and I feel the quantity could be improved as well. I would love if they could stay open longer like they used to. Having said this, it's the perfect place to go for a good coffee. Keep up the good work.

This cafe is a hidden gem of East London! 💕 I often stop by when scooting around 🛴💨 The people behind the counter are friendly and professional. The coffee is delicious! There’s also a nice selection of drinks and snacks to choose from. And what a beautiful view! Please do ignore the disgruntled 1* reviews from a bad customer who had a tantrum because he couldn’t get fried chips 🍟. The reviews are fake. All from the same person, made on the same day.

Serves breakfast. Seating outside near opposite City airport and walking distance from Excel.

The family and I often walk for about a mile to have the coffee here on the weekends. It's a lovely place where the staff are friendly. I can't comment on the food as I have not tried it yet but the coffee is a 100% better then Costa or Starbucks. On a side note my daughter really recommends the chocolate ice cream.

Nice ice cream but the bubble tea would be better if it included more flavour or sweetness. Regardless still a nice cafe to stop by when walking by the river

Found this coffee shop today after visiting Excel London. Within easy walking distance although I drove - ample parking! Great location with wonderful views of the comings & goings at London City airport. Had the chicken soup & crusty bread and a Mocha - great value & very relaxing after a hectic WTM exhibition visit. Very helpful & friendly staff 😊👍🏼 As an aviation nut, I'm sure I'll be back - many thanks for making me welcome! 🎉

Love this cafe on the waterfront of royal docks. You can sit and watch the planes take off and land (which is a bit noisy if you don't like that). The staff are great, friendly and chilled out which is always a breath of fresh air in London. Beware that on weekend mornings, the cafe is overrun with rowers from the nearby rowing club but you can still grab a drink and sit nearby on a good day.

Beautiful location, amazing service and very nice food. My husband and I visited this coffee shop whilst staying at the Moxy hotel. Unfortunately the hotel didn't serve hot meals so we chose this lovely little cafe by the docks to have some breakfast. We were warmly welcomed by two lovely young ladies who took our order quickly and served it with a smile. The coffees were some of the best value for money coffees that we've had in London. And the english breakfast? Divine! It's a shame that we don't live locally as this would be our go-to cafe. The view across the Docks is beautiful, which also overlooks the London City Airport. While enjoying our coffees, we were treated to a show of rowing activities on the dock; which was also lovely. I would recommend this cafe to anyone living in or visiting the Royal Docks or the City Airport. Thank you Prime Coffee for a lovely morning.

Surprising .. You would think just another coffee and snack place nicely situated overlooking Albert Dock and City Airport, dig a little deeper and you will find the family that own it have their own farms and grow and roast their own beans!!! They have started publicising this more and having pods and raw/roasted beans on display incl their own chocolate the last time I was in there....deserves supporting because of the forementioned Staff are friendly and a large range of food and snacks

A small coffee shop located close to Newham Council's iconic Building 1000, opposite the runway strip for London's City Airport. The coffee shop uses Arabica beans grown in Nigeria, West Africa. They also sell chocolate made from cocoa grown in Nigeria. The shop has several cocoa pods on display as well as raw and roasted cocoa beans (a nice touch). The barista at this shop knows how to make a good coffee, we ordered Cappuccino, Mocha, Double Macchiato and we were not disappointed. The coffee shop sells several other items including ice-cream. There is limited seating inside and some seating outside. A great place for coffee for those visiting the area.

We spotted this cafe from my hotel across the road. I went in with my partner a few moments ago. Ordinarily, I would ignore the comments posted online by others about their experiences on any subject. But what I witnessed at the cafe about the conduct of & comments just posted by '@Zubair Khan' compelled me to respond on this occasion. This person is clearly lying and deliberately being malicious as I was a witness to the event regarding the false narrative he just posted. I was being served by the gentleman in question when the @Zubair Khan character shouted at him from across the store. Very impatient while demonstrating a rather shocking sense of entitlement! He was not only rude to the gentleman, he was equally rude to other customers waiting in the queue. The shop manager in fact did offer to give him the extra paper cup while he quickly finished with my order. My understanding was he had previously been offered the choice he now said was denied him. Instead, Zubair continued with his rude, derogatory and patronizing utterances towards this gentleman who, by the way, remained calm. I can only assume this person's juvenile insults were designed to impress the female companion he had with him! Perhaps, he is used to the experiences of cheap, low quality greasy-spoon places rather than great quality food, specialty coffee beverages & friendly service such as provided by Prime Coffee London! Whatever the case, @Zubair Khan was only at the cafe with the intention of causing discomfort to other customers and, by extension, bad reputation to this organization. To Prime Coffee London, I say this: Great products, great service, and very sensible price to boot! I'm impressed.

Many times pass through that caffe! Always were enjoying very fresh food and best views ! Great Service!!!! But one day came wanted just tea. And only had card no cash. But card charge 5£ minimum. Sorry I not would pay 5£ for tea! When I offered 0.50 £ cash for just hot water they could not give either. So needed badly for my sore throat hot water that day and went unsatisfied looking for other places where I can drink hot drink after work

Great place, great coffee! We came 6 days in a row for breakfast during our stay in London, would definately recommend it! In detail: organic+fairtrade coffee, freshly baked croissaint (try plain+chocolat), poppy lemon muffin, paninis, bagel, full english breakfast, ... and a good choice of snacks (oatmeal, cake, fruits, crisps, sandwiches, choclate muffins...). Regular coffee is huge and delicious. Cosy atmosphere, very kind owner and a great view directly to the runway of LCY airport and the thames river.

Right on the Royal Docks with seating inside and outside. It is a great plane to sit and relax as the people, dogs, bikes, rowers, planes etc pass by. The food and drink options have a wholesome, healthy bias, but they do the traditional stuff as well.
