A nice little cafe attached to a church in Putney. Has a classic cafe feel with a counter with cakes, tarts, and other things. A very open a light space. The staff were friendly, but the service was a little slow. The food was great though. Well seasoned and tasty. All very fresh and great portion sizes. Good value and charming.

I really liked the setting of the place in the church. The food was really great! I was really happy to find great vegan English breakfast on the menu! The coffee was also one of the best I’ve had in London. It’s definitely a great brunch option I’d recommend.

I love this place! Issa is a talented chef and Monika and the team give such a warm welcome and great service. Perfect for brunch, lunch and afternoon tea and cake. I recommend their special evenings where they produce top quality food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Unique location of this café; it is built as an extension to the church. There are options for vegetarian and vegans . The space is open and there is plenty of room for seating but it is also a cosy atmosphere.

After an ok first experience, my 2nd visit to Putney Pantry certainly is deserving of 5 stars. The food was incredibly fresh and tasty with decent serving size and quality ingredients. Mushroom was a particular favourite of the vegetarian breakfast. Service was very good and the vibe is very casual, comfortable and local.

Really lovely place for a coffee with friends or around a baby class with families. The tea is reasonably priced and there’s a delicious Aztec hot chocolate that is really worth a try. The service is always lovely and they are so friendly, a real hidden gem of a venue in Putney.

Great cafe which is attached to the church but so far no-one has tried to convert us - although their great brunch and homemade cakes might succeed! Seating inside and out is well spaced and staff are very pleasant. More seating outside might be worth looking at (if they're allowed to spread a little further) because several people walked away due to a lack of available tables. Also worth looking inside the church as there's a small historical exhibition about the history of Putney which is fascinating. Interesting architecture and layout inside the church as well.

Issa, that was, almost certainly, the best fish and chips supper we have ever had! Wonderfully cooked - the fish tender, the batter light the chips suitably chunky and the mushy peas...... extraordinary. Thank you so much and we'll definitely be repeating the order next week.

Love this cafe, they do an amazing vegan breakfast (best one I've ever had!) and a lovely vegan cake. Staff are nice and it's a great place to have a lazy breakfast on a Sunday and relax reading the papers. It's a little expensive though, think the vegan breakfast is about a tenner with price of coffee on top too so like 12-13 pounds but very nice for a treat every so often. Best cafe in Putney.

If you're looking for a friendly café with lovely food, this is an excellent choice. The breakfasts are really nice and the pastries are too. I've yet to try lunch or dinner there but I'm sure they're just as good. There is a lot of home-made produce on offer at great value. You get a sense that they have a lot of regulars and the atmosphere is always very pleasant and welcoming. Well worth a visit.

The Putney Pantry catered for an event we had yesterday in the Lancaster Hall of St Mary's Church and the food was AMAZING!! Issa really looked after us and our guests commented numerous times on what a great spread it was. I would highly recommend both the hall as a venue, as well as Putney Pantry for catering. Its also a great cafe with unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. DEFINITELY 5 stars!!!!

I love going in here, friendly staff, fresh food prepared by a top chef (Issa) and lot's of history. Really feel part of the local area with so many different groups using the space, oh and great cake :) Go relax and avoid the hustle and bustle, support local.
