Food is good, shame about the owners daughter needs to smile a bit more often, she could curdle milk with her look, miserable is an understatement, would I go in here again or recommend NEVER

There are two types of people in this world, those who go to cafes which sell avocado on toast and those who go to cafes like this one which which sell proper wholesome grub.
I have recently started going every Saturday morning as a treat and the food hits the spot (especially when you’re nursing a hangover).
In addition, the staff are lovely and the food is really good value for money e.g. £6.50 for a drink and 2 bacon and egg sandwiches.
What my dad would have said about this place: “son, this cafe does what it says on the tin, it gets you full and doesn’t break the bank.”

Excellent basic food with very friendly and fast service. Highly recommend for a great breakfast/lunch.

Your standard cafe offering decent portions but with a bizarre pricing policy: omelette and chips is £3.80, but an omelette with salad instead of chips is £4.80! No interest in healthy eating then, but it’s not a ‘greasy spoon’ for nothing I guess! Staff were grumpy too. Thankfully, there are many better places to eat nearby.

Having eaten is several cafes it the area for fried breakfasts, I can safely say this has been the best one I have had so far. It is not going to win any awards for beast breakfast sausages but is still the best compared to anything else around. A good builders breakfast.

This is my favourite cafe... great food very reasonably priced, big portions. Good banter with friendy staff - tho you'll never get the last word in with Zeyna.
Ps. To be avoided when she is in a singing mood!! :-)

Any connection to Georde the owner from 1968 ?? It was the best breakfast ever, still to this day. Never been beaten. Every day I went there !! Happy days.

I find this to be one of the most down to earth cafes . We've moved closer to borough a year ago, whilst sorting out the new apartment, we came across this place. It's the type of cafe that you know there's a hot meal on demand waiting for you, even at its peak time . Yo'ure not expected to hang around. I get a wave from the beautiful waitress everytime I go by. It so friendly and the price for a decent breakfast doesn't break the bank. Such variety, and it's not a greasy spoon. A cafe where you'll have the local fire brigade, (when we had one), labourers etc, and then theres me, LoL.never had a bad meal.

Good food and service, seating inside and out. Prices are very reasonable too. Would recommend.

Superb kebab! Been eating here for 10 years plus and will continue, not impressed the head waitress has decided to start supporting Charlton, it's a more than poor decision.
