Reviews of Rise

Rise is a great café that does brilliant coffee, cakes, sausage rolls, breakfast, lunches and burgers at night. It is busy all the time so you know it is a good spot. There's spaces outside and inside.

The food was nice. Unfortunately, I did have plastic in my desert which the member of staff refunded. We were asked to leave immediately after spending £100 on a meal as there was another table who had booked the table. We were not made aware of any time limits on the table.

I am a regular customer at Rise and I love every visit, amazing food, reasonably priced and such a great atmosphere. Such lovely staff who are always so welcoming. Best breakfasts and best burgers. 10/10 every time.

I love my local GOOD Cafe and diner! Such cool staff serving burgers as good as anywhere north of the river! Don't miss Thursday specials night!

Staff were very friendly, the food was really good. I had the cesar chicken burger with a side of sweet potato fries (and yes, they pronounced po-tay-toe, and they actually called them "fries"). I think I paid something like 17 pounds, I guess that's not cheap, but I think everything in the UK, especially in London, might be just a little more expensive than the rest of the EU. Wifi was fast. Toilet was clean. The local neighborhood crowd was nice too. I was doing laundry at the laundromat accross the street so I was walking back and forth, leaving my stuff at my table, finding them safe and untouched...not that they should take responsibility for it, but just saying, the locals are cool.

We absolutely love this great local café. Super lovely staff, good breakfast options and burgers in the evening, but what has really changed my life is the New Yorker sandwich, absolutely delicious!

Sandwiches are fab here but the flat whites taste like warm milk - distinct lack of coffee which is last thing you want, perhaps they only use 1 shot… in future I’ll remember to ask for 2.

Great new local restaurant. Food and coffee were great. We came for break and had eggs hollandaise royale and a latte. Really delicious and very well priced. I will definitely be back here soon. They also have a selection of cakes and home made sausage rolls, amongst a number of other things.

Coffee is not the best but food and service is amazing, better than most of the coffee shops you can find in South London. Smoothies are just sooo good

Excellent addition to brunch in Honor Oak Park. Friendly staff and great food is sure to be winning combination. They were literally queuing out the door Saturday morning. Looking forward to reading more of the menu and takeaway sandwiches.
