I have been visiting this place for over 10 years, not a regular since I've never lived in the area but usually when I visit the British Museum and it is always lovely. Last time I visited the staff was really friendly, I got a nice tea and the freshest and best scones I've ever had. They were baked that morning, accompanied with real clotted cream and jam. It is a small cafe, the food is amazing and if you want to support small independent places, do go there. One teapot with a scone is £6,95, totally worth it.

Ruskin's cafe Very good food and service
After visiting the British museum we stopped here for lunch. Friendly helpful staff and amazing home cooked food. Fast service. So glad we stopped. The cakes were to die for and the lunch was wholesome and warming...

A lovely cafe, with very friendly and welcoming staff. A great choice and a wide range menu. I just had a Cheese and Ham toasted sandwich, something nice and light for lunch. It was delicious. I’ll definitely be connecting back.
