My husband and I came here for lunch and were seated right away. The food came pretty quickly and was delicious, the staff also kindly accommodated a slight substitution of ingredients we requested with no fuss. We really enjoyed our food and thought there was a good variety on the menu. We visited here on a whim but would definitely return when in London- it would be very handy if you were visiting the British Museum, as it's just round the corner.

Such a great spot with a delicious and healthy menu. I wish I took pics of our breakfast but we were so excited to eat, it was devoured pretty fast. Everything was fresh and delicious. The family owners work hard to please with a smile:) It was right next to our hotel so we’d go almost everyday. Btw.. the porridge is awesome. My kids would crave it every morning. Perfect breakfast for a whole day of walking and exploring the city. Love this place!

Really nice place for breakfast/lunch. Food is good, coffee is good. Freshly squeezed orange juice is always good. Prices are good too. I had the crushed avocado with salmon and she had the continental. Just what we needed before hitting Oxford Street for a bit of shopping therapy.

NICE FOOD SLIGHTLY OVERPRICED With so many family-run Italian cafes in central London gone to the pandemic and corporate fast food ..it’s hard to find a cosy place to have an omelette, eggs benedict or English breakfast. It’s great that this little place fills that hole. But it also leaves a larger hole in your wallet than a cafe of this kind should. I’d say about £2-3 over what the price should be.

Such a good bargain in central London. The place is warm and welcoming. The breakfast is very traditional. Love the sausage especially, strong aroma of spices. The best about this place is they keep salt and pepper grinder on every table. Hence the name of the place. Can never resist such a place.

Wow. It is extremely rare that when I am on vacation that I eat in the same place two days in a row. After all, you are on vacation and you want to try new things! Well, Salt & Pepper broke that rule for me after an amazing breakfast there the first day of my recent London trip. This tiny cafe was right next to my hotel and offers traditional breakfast favorites in addition to pastas, salads, etc. I had the ham and cheese omelette which might possibly be the best omelette I have had... anywhere. My dining partner had the avocado toast with Halumi cheese which she said was amazing and perfect as well. Service is good and quick. I can’t wait to come back on my next London trip!

Friendly and very helpful Staff. The ordering IS very easy and quickly done. The food IS prepared fresh after The order. You can Take away or eat in The Restaurant. There are Sandwiches, paninis, Souls or Pasta to Chose from. The Coffee IS als very good and Made with The eye For detail. There ls also a bathroom.

A quick lunch after miles of walking around the British Museum. Lunchtime trade had finished which suited just fine. Pleasant interior and immediate service. Catered for us not wanting gluten products by adjusting the menu and the coffee was excellent. Our meals arrived quickly and were good.

We had a lovely late Sunday brunch. Really great food and reasonably priced. The staff we really helpful with the children and split there smoothie across 2 glasses. Lovely food and great distance from British museum.

Perfectly average café, food was decent and the coffee was perfectly fine. Did find the prices a bit expensive for what was on offer (was visiting London so I don't have the best idea of costs) I will say the staff were very friendly, which is the only real positive I can take away. But nothing majorly negative affected my visit here either.

Great service and coffee! Even reasonable price! They don't provide ice coffee. It makes me think they are providing 'Real' and 'Original' coffee. Haha! I had to take hot coffee instead of cold one, but it was so nice. One of good memories in London.

Always like coming here for breakfast or lunch. It's usually quite busy (popular) yet the service is quick and food tastes great - I like the eggs benedict and avocado with poached eggs. Good tea and coffee.

Good value for the area. Wait staff has a little bit of the too cool to help you vibe but that's not really a problem as they still do as you need them. Little salad bar with hummus is quite nice especially if you are vegetarian. The English breakfast is fine, not the best around but certainly good enough. Orage juice was a standout. Not sure if it's 100% fresh or a mix but either way quite enjoyable.

A value for money oassis in the heart of Bloomsbury. Wonderful menu eat in or take out, excellent well presented food to suit most tastes. We managed snack lunch, breakfast and sandwiches for our train journey home for less than the cost of breakfast for two at our hotel.

This was a fantastic find on the day we went to the British Museum. It is right around the corner so we stopped on our way from the underground. The atmosphere is calm and cozy, the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The service was good and friendly. And the prices were great! We enjoyed it so much we went back at lunch time for jacket potatoes and hummingbird cake. So good! Highly recommend it if you are in the area!

Great little cafe. Breakfast/coffee was delicious and their sandwiches & salads looked amazing. This place was good for dining in (about ten 2 & 4 person tables) and also looked go for ordering take-away. Will definitely go back!

Stopped by here as was one of the few cafés that had space during a sudden torrential downpour. We had a very large group and yet the cafe owners and patrons themselves were lovely an accommodating. One man moved table to allow us to sit together, and the owner sorted our drinks and food with no fuss.

Found this lovely little cafe before I went to see Motown The Musical at The Shaftsbury Theatre. Both my friend and I had the sourdough toast with smashed avocado, halloumi cheese , fried tomatoes and salad. To drink we had orange,carrot and Apple juice. I would definitely recommend it. Great food and service .

Salt and pepper is a delightful little cafè. A very friendly hello on entrance and friendly service. The food is extremly fresh, the orange juice is not cordial or from concentrate, its pressed orange! It was amazing! We ordered a continental breakfast which was a croissant with butter and jam but also came with fresh strawberrys, grapes and 2 slices of very tasty cheese. Amazingly fresh, both in food and atmosphere. 10/10
