Reviews of Stir Coffee Brixton

Absolutely love Stir - amazing coffee, grub and of course SUCH fab staff. Chats with Anton, Kat & Seb in particular are such welcome additions to our week and over the pandemic they’ve been especially brilliant, with Anton even giving us treats on the house alongside our coffees… including ones for our little pooch! It doesn’t get much better than this place. 👍 🤩

This has always been the best local gem!
In fact, we moved away from Brixton and still travel to Stir coffee shop every other week to have their coffee.
The quality of coffee is THE best, sometimes we go back again for a second one.
The cakes and sandwiches are very fresh and tasty.
Staffs are very friendly and funny!
If you are in the area and not making a trip to this coffee shop, you are missing out!

Very nice coffee from Assembly. Small place, clean toilet, very good wifi. You will find good quality beer 🍺. Latte cost £ 2.70. Friendly people, clean tables with nice flowers 🌺. You will find all kind spoons inside.

A lovely friendly coffee shop that served excellent coffee through a hatch in the front door throughout covid-19 lock-down. An absolute lifesaver! They remember our order and everything. Highly recommended.

When an coffee shop won’t go larger than an 8oz serving you know they care about their coffee :)
A shabby chic styled cafe with a friendly laidback atmosphere that is obviously very popular with a loyal local following.
Great range of coffees to buy mainly from the Mission Coffee works. The milk is, Estate Dairy and created specifically for baristas -
It’s delicious 😋
The main expresso roast I tried was full bodied, smooth and full of chocolate notes.
There’s a range of tasty cakes on offer and I tried one of the artisan sandwiches - the haloumi and guacamole bun which toasted was delicious.
Prices are good for London and there’s plenty of seating including some quirky old church pews.

The coffee is so good here. Amazing service and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. 😊

Great Stout cake. Good sausage roll but pastry bit limp. Cappuccino was pretty flat and weak. Batch filter was fine but hardly memorable

Went for the coffee, stayed for the sandwiches. The Reuben sandwich was excellent and washed down with a strong long black was a great lunch treat. Sandwiches are pretty fairly priced for a Brixton (hipsterish) coffee shop and are worth it. Nice seating area at the front, towards the windows; there are benches and also stools to sit at the windows. Highly recommend if you’re on the hill.

Beautiful and cosy coffee shop and their coffee is delicious too. I will definitely come back to try their food. Very friendly staff who were happy to pose for a picture 😊

Nice little addition to coffee burgeoning specialty coffee scene on Brixton hill. Initially came here to sample some of Berlin's finest in man Vs machine ...but apparently it's only one of many guests! :-(
Anyway generally relaxed ambience, with a selection of benches and tables to sit on. Staff are friendly if a little pushy (one verging on irritable which adds to a bitter taste). Speaking of which - coffee was fab, which is probably the most important factor.
