Reviews of The Albert Memorial Kiosk
Found this by mistake, but what a find, a lovely place to chill and have a coffee and cake/sarnies, Paola is a very friendly and helpful Italian young lady who was serving, it was raining so stopped off to keep dry and had a coffee and a looong chat! 😎 will definitely be stopping off there again, preferably when its not raining!
Super ice-cream and snacks, and great service in a lovely corner of the park!
Good place to have a outdoor coffee and enjoy the park
Nice place but dog got very sick after drinking from their dog water bowl
Good coffee and splendid views from lovely seats outside
Great location
Nice double espresso and cheap.
it's too busy lunchtime but the food is ok
Great coffee!
Lovely with views of the Royal Albert Hall.
Love the ice cream
Nice cafe, good staff and coffee. I attached their Menu food and coffee to help you decide before coming. 😁
Good coffee!
A nice little cafe with a good amount of seating. The perfect day to grab a hot drink when it is chilly and a cold drink when it is warm.
Beautiful Victorian-style memorial.
The four statues at the ends of the monument represent four continents (America, Europe, Africa and Asia). "But Rafa, what about Oceania?"
Well... Albert created the Great Exhibition of 1851, which was a fair to showcase the advancement of science, mathematics, arts, etc. But Australia didn't put anything in the exhibition, so it was cut from the memorial, simple to solve... In fact, the golden statue of Albert is holding the catalogue of the Great Exhibition.
In the memorial part there are several statues of historical figures such as architects, painters, musicians, writers and sculptors.
Kensington Gardens organizes monthly tours, every first Sunday of the month, to learn more about and actually enter the memorial. More information on their website.
Waffle and clotted cream with berries ice cream are my fav, trust me^^
Nice coffee kiosk near to the Albert Hall. Lot of choice for somewhere so small.
The best honeycomb ice cream!!
Surprisingly good ice cream in the middle of Hyde park
Good service and coffee, allowed us to shelter from a rainstorm too.
Beautiful location, and the coffee is good, although it comes in a plastic-coated paper cup so being your own cup of you can.
Plenty of choice and a great selection of refreshments situated right next to the Albert Memorial.
good coffee, great service
