I’ve been a daily customer of the coffee room for a long time, the traditional thick chocolate and the focacia with pesto are a must!! Nice and cozy atmosphere and the sitting back area when is a sunny day is wonderful. I haven’t tried their pasta yet but the store smells great when they prepare it. Also the manager of the store told me that soon they intend to start brunch, I can’t wait to try and I have high expectations from them!!! Keep it real guys!!!

Wonderful cafe in Mile End with great food and cuppas, friendly staff, and a lovely heated back garden. It’s dog friendly and easy to have COVID-safe chats in the garden or front tables too. Highly recommended!

Went for a run in the Mile End park and then after that I decided to visit this place. It was one of the best brunches I had in a long time and by far the best pancakes anyone can wish for in London. The staff were great, despite being so busy and they paid attention to detail, were fast and polite. I look forward to visiting this place again one day soon!!

Really pretty little coffee shop. The pastry was fresh and the cashier quick. I hope I could say the same of the coffee maker guy, needs more experience or a better understanding. They have a nice coloured back yard where to seat and enjoy your break with your eventual pet 'cos there are cookies and bowls for them too. Prices are fairly on average for fresh food.

Used to order breakfast from them pretty much every other day. Had go stop because they stopped doing hot veggie options (veggie bun, everything else is cold). Hot drinks delivered were good but won't recommend the cold one, as it was mostly ice and the quality/taste was a little worse than average.

Very nice cafe, and quite quaint. Has a nice personal feel to it, with the people inside it being very friendly. It also means the barista/owner is also very flexible with any changes. It's not exactly the place to go sit down and study, which might be a negative for some. However for a nice coffee that isn't from a chain store, it's fantastic. As a bonus, the cakes are very good, with a surprising number of vegan options.

Of the four cafes located at the Mile End intersection I think this is the best. Unlike some of the other cafes nearby here they open early and close late which is great since I cant always find the time to visit cafes with narrow opening times and unlike Starbucks and Costa they actually make good coffee here. The selection of pastries and desserts is fantastic too and I enjoy them when I can, though many of the freshly baked croissants and such are often sold out by mid-day so you'd have to come in the morning if you want to grab one which I reccomend you do. The indoor seating (when open and covid aside) is really cozy and pleasant, the staff working here are also all nice and friendly and they offer a loyalty card so you can get some freebies if you're a regular. If you are in the area and want a coffee I suggest you visit here.

Intimate Italian coffee shop. The staff are a bunch of fun. The menu has branched out now although I haven't tried it yet. I enjoy a mint tea and croissant here from time to time. The outdoor area is very nice especially since they made it non smoking. Great place to go solo or meet friends.

Lovely spot for pasta, cakes, focaccia, with a cozy seating area too. I can definitely recommend the truffle ravioli: perfectly al dente pasta, strong truffle flavours blended with a cheesy creaminess! Last time I was there I also fell in love with their tasty banoffee cake and I will be definitely coming back. The staff is also incredibly friendly and service oriented and have made our dinner not only delicious but attentive too. Thank you so much, will definitely be coming back!

The quality of drinks is unreliable and it really depends from whoever is behind the counter, and their customer service is down to whoever is serving as well and what time of day it is. What a shame. I will walk further afield for better coffee and better customer service.

The Place is very nice and "cozy", it has three floors, including the terrace. As soon as you enter you can smell the fantastic smell of Italian coffee and sweets. I had the opportunity to be served by a very sweet Martina, with whom I immediately felt at ease and very friendly, above all her delicious macchiato coffee. I plan to return to this place soon and especially to meet Martina again for her kindness and helpfulness

If you like old Italian-style coffee then the Coffee Room will do in a pinch. The cake selection are very good and often I've found their food is far better than their coffee. While you might think this would be the perfect study space, being so close to the uni campus, there is no WiFi so keep that in mind before digging in for the afternoon.

A great cafe just a couple of minutes from Mile End tube. Friendly staff give cheerful service, and there is a good range of teas and coffees, and lots of lovely cakes. There is room for about 10 to sit in the main cafe, and about 20 in the heated, covered space at the back. Highly recommended!

Brilliant local, independent coffee shop run by very friendly and welcoming staff. Defenitely the best coffee in the East End. Love the vibe and the cosiness of this small cafè and bakery tucked in Grove Road. A big thumbs up to all the friendly staff, with a special mention to Giuseppe for his outstanding decorations (I still remember that hanging Christmas train, it was unbelievable) and to Gaia for her special hot choc! Small independent coffee outlet; the best near Mile End station by quite some distance. But none of that matters - this place does THE BEST SAUSAGE ROLLS IN LONDON. They're all gone by 8:30am on a weekday so you need to be up and out of bed at first light to get one, but they are incredible. So good, the £2.95 price tag doesn't grate the way it should! Honestly, go and get one of the sausage rolls. They're amazing.

Once again revising my review. 2020: Fabulous coffee, great service. Hands down best coffee in east London. Covid19 restrictions seamlessly working. Food offering broader now with introduction of menus, hurrah! Do wish things were more clearly marked with vegetarian, gluten free, etc. Very dog friendly, with bonio treats and water bowls for dogs. Recently had a bit of a refurb and I love it, a new AstroTurf wall in the courtyard garden. Very welcoming and friendly and great place to relax with a book. Love it. Easy 5*.

I'd give this place 5 stars if the guy member of staff with glasses actually cracked a smile and had any kind costomer service instead of looking like the worlds going to end everytime I go in and replying with grunts. I remember the last time we came in my friend ordered avacado on toast and he brought a piece of bread out with massive pieces of chopped avo on top, she told him mate this is a slice of bread, do you mind actually toasting it and he brought it out 10 minutes later burnt and with a chunk missing. Either way, the foods lovely and the atmosphere is great. It's just a shame about this dude.
