One of the best coffees I’ve had. Friendly staff too (the minimal extra expense for the coffees is 100% worth it)
C. D.
Really great coffee, food, and view. Lovely service too, can’t recommend enough.
J. F.
Great small café for coffee! Bonus because they also make some pretty good toasties
E. D.
Best coffee in Clerkenwell. Punchy if you need a wake up!
M. D. W.
Excellent coffee and very tasty cakes.
E. B.
Actual great coffee and amazing lemon cake. Very welcoming staff too :)

OK, so it's quite expensive, but it's really really good coffee and great staff. And just a lovely, cosy local business so willing to pay a bit more. Great to get a take out coffee and sit in Percy Circus or Myddelton Square just nearby.

Damn!! The coffee is delicious and the turmeric latte went down a treat! A new favourite!

Kawa! Cymes! very tasty coffee, I will definitely come back

Love this place. Great for a lazy Sunday coffee.

A delightful cute and little coffee shop that's a hidden treat to find. It's small but cosy inside and the lady that works there is incredibly friendly. She brings you a complimentary of glass of water and gives you time to order with no pressure. The seats by the windows have nice cushions on that are comfy to sit on. The coffee itself is strong and creamy with a rich aroma that goes down really well. You can also get some delicious cheese toasties (made fresh) as well as soup. The prices are reasonable and the service is lovely. Well worth popping in.

Nice shop in a nice quiet area of Islington. Nice view of st marks church. Coffee and service was great. However it is pricey and I was slightly disappointed that they do not serve Ethiopian style coffee (which I assumed based on their name) but rather Ethiopian coffee served European style.

We highly enjoyed a lovely Ethiopian brew in this small and cosy coffee shop. Many locals came through for their daily fix and the staff was friendly and relaxed. Highly recommend.

One of the best coffee places in London, by quality of coffee. Really flavourful Ethiopian brews on offer here, with super friendly barista and a cozy inside. Also outdoor seating

Lovely little nook. Coffee was tasty, came quickly and the latte art was very nicely done. The almond croissant was also fresh and not too sweet.
I came in to do some work on my laptop and was very productive.
My only complaint was the minimum £5 spend to use the card machine.

Amwell Street is a lovely area. This little coffee shop is cute and quirky. Nab one of the outside tables and a coffee, what more do you need? Maybe some cake - luckily they have a great selection of those as well!!

Really great coffee, i go there to buy my beans for brewing at home, it's the best coffee I've found, pricey but worth it.

A truly lovely café, with exceptional Ethiopian coffee and very yummy freshly made cheese toasties. Excellent value too. If this was in my local area, I'd be here every day.
K. W.
Great coffee, friendly service. Coffee had a v unique aftertaste to it, but it was delicious
M. S.
The coffee is amazing. As far as I know they serve exclusively Ethiopian coffee, and it's their single origin make for amazing pour-over. Only downside is it's very expensive
A. H.
I love this neighborhood coffee shop. It's small and the service is great. Very friendly and relaxed and good coffee and toasties.
Z. J.
Lovely coffee in a small independent place. Flat white was delicious!
Y.
Fantastic little cafe with great coffee and friendly staff and owners. They are also still delivering coffee beans right now, which is great!
C. M.
Wonderful place for the best coffee. All of it sourced from the local farmers in Ethiopia...world's best coffee beans!

Great coffee and lovely location tasty snacks too.

The coffee was very good, the best I had in London so far. The place is small and cozy... perfect for a morning coffee.

I’d argue that the flat white was a bit sour, but in today’s coffee culture I assume that is intended.... really nice spot, quick service

Favourite coffee place in London
K. S.
Really liked the place, small and cosy, was situated at King cross, just found it by googling.. Im from a coffee adicts country and to find a good Coffey in London is a challenge... Would recommend

EDIT: Hit or miss if you get a barrista that can make a flat white. Still very good coffee but at £3.25, I atleast expect to get a flat white not a poorly made latté
Popped in on my way to work and got a fantastic flat white. Great little place with a lovely interior aesthetic.
They now only take card payments with no minimum spend.
F. A.
Very very good coffee and £5 sandwiches which are really tasty. It has a lovely view of the church as well.

Caught their South Bank pop-up, got the most amazing flat white :3

Favourite coffee shop in the area! Small, cosy, with great coffee, sandwiches and friendly baristas.

Perhaps the best black filter coffee I have ever had. Thick, dark, sweet and complex.
D. B.
Great coffee. The beans they sell are excellent. Love this place.
J. F.
Best vegan food and an authentic Ethiopian experience from the coffee beans to the lovely 'comfort' food. Need one in every high street for light, delicious, reasonably priced lunch time food!
