With excellent coffee, tasty sandwiches, healthy salads and hot food options, The School House, at The Jerwood Space, is the perfect place to relax and hang out with creative people.

Always such a nice fresh selection on the salad bar. Medium plate is plenty filling, but small and large plate options available cater for any appetite. Staff always super friendly even at hectic times. Top tip is get there early for lunch as there always seem to be a rushor at 2pm. Coffees and pastries superb too.

Perfect for a light lunch in fantastic surroundings.

Absolutely lovely coffee and food. Really lovely environment, second to none service and fantastically well run by Matilda and her team. A happy regular 😁

Finding good coffee is typically a form of roulette with that holy grail of "a good coffee" - the right temperature, beans not being burnt, smoothness - seemingly more difficult to achieve than it should be. TGB has changed that. I'm not sure what else I can say except that they've set the bar pretty high. The space itself is great to simply hang out or have meetings and the freshly made food is, in short, great. I'm conflicted because on the one hand, there should be more branches of TGB but at the same time, I like that it's a something of a hidden treasure. If there was one criticism, it would be the brand of oat milk used... but that's me being really picky!

Nice hidden place, good vibe, good coffee

All time favourite cafe in Southwark. Used to get coffee here daily for about a year and half. Coffee is delicious and regularly cycling through a number of great blends. Baristas are very friendly and very skilled. Great place to turn into your local coffee spot!

The staff are babes in all the ways, the coffee is decent, the snacks are top-notch. My only real regret is how much of my salary I leave with them every month. Snaps to George for all the porridge. :)

Great salads, coffee, vibe and friendly staff. The hygiene could be better with the food i.e. food servers aren't very hair conscious/don't tie their hair back as they lean over to serve food, the cakes are open and out right at the front which is a nice display but not hygienic
