A local institution perched at the top of a hill with great views of Oxleas and the surrounding area. The staff are always welcoming, helpful and family-friendly. The menu offers most of the cafe standards as well as delicious and freshly cooked specials. There are also ice creams and freshly squeezed juices.

Love this cafe, perfectly situated, fabulous view. Plenty of seats inside and out. Good food and occasionally in the summer, good entertainment..

They excepted Apple Pay. Had a great fresh orange juice, she squeezed the oranges in front of me! Delicious! Also nice clean toilets.

It's nice, clean and quiet here. The cafe do not accept credit cards nor debit cards. You can only pay cash or cheque here. Great menu choices. You can have full English breakfast, sandwiches, baguettes, hot and cold drinks, children's menu, veggie breakfast etc. Especially I like a view through the windows.
*UPDATE*
They have started to take cards now. Minimum spend is £5.

had cup of tea and tuna baguette. 😋 lovely view over Kent while drinking cup of tea and eating my rolls.

We visited today. There was an acoustic guitar duo, Gordon and Steve Mac playing covers. They were fantastic. The cafe was heaving and the staff rushed off their feet. Orders were taking about half an hour which is nothing on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon. They have a great extensive menu including all day brunch, burgers, salads, pasta, baked spuds etc. We had home made lasagna both meat and veggie, the Ultimate half pound burger. All came with chips and side salad. I had jerk chicken with sweet potato fries. All plates were cleared and we bought 4 sodas. £38 all in. The staff are super efficient and friendly. Great views and a nice woods to walk off the calories.

Good Food, filter coffee which is a rare find. Very typical cafe grab. Outdoor gym nearby. Lots and lots of walks in the woods nearby. Completely heaving on snowy or sunny days !Free parking. Car park shuts around dusk

We love this popular little cafe on the top of Shooters Hill. Fabulous views over the Oxleas Meadows. Delicious bacon and tomato toasted sandwiches. Good coffee. Italian icecream. Family run with friendly staff.
Not a huge amount of room inside, at it's best on a, sunny day. Great walks in the woods to either side .
