Reviews of The Pastry Parlour

The pastries and cakes are very good. The croissant was one of the best I've had. Great coffee. Friendly polite staff. Clean and located in a nice area. There's also outside seating.

Prices are a bit higher, but it’s decent for a neighbourhood cafe

Google listing states open until 6 - blackboard outside says open until 5. Arrive at 3:45 to have coffee and cake when we're told the seating area closes at 4! Really? There was one other table occupied and it takes an hour to clean down? If you're open until 5 you should be open until 5. It's not hard to update a Google listing - disappointing attitude in general. Giving three stars only because I know from previous visits (take away) the pastries have been nice but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

The shop interiors are nice and the staff is welcoming. I had an espresso which was ok and an almond croissant which was big but not very tasty. The price for an espresso and a croissant was 6.30 pounds which I thought was a bit too much.

Delicious pastry and great latte! Very kind server! Great place to get some sweet treats and get some work done

A great selection of one of the finest pastries in the area. Would love a few more gluten free options, but the mango dome and the macaroons are nice as well.

Nice location, decent coffee, nice selection of pastries and a very good sausage roll. However.... they consistently boot you out early. I felt squeezed into a corner amidst noisy stacking of chairs and tables from outside into the area I was sitting at 4:15pm with closing time at 5pm. Staff inform customers that the 'dining area' (which means the entire sitting area, so anything other than counter service) closes at 4:40pm ???even though they claim to open until 5pm and online shows they open until 6pm which is clearly not true. You feel pressured if you arrive to sit and have a coffee after 4pm. If you are open until 5pm, you shouldn't be closing your seating area until 5pm. You should do your cleanup and closing activity after you close to customers at 5pm. This has become a pattern in some places and is frustrating.

Visited there with my partner, was a convenient location next to our hotel and nearby to a London train station. Great food and drinks, would recommend for a nice morning breakfast.
