Local venue in beautiful Canonbury. Relaxed setting in a period building with wooden floorboards and huge glass shopfront with a pleasant outlook. Delicious variety of toasted sandwiches and home made cakes. Very good coffee. Friendly service. Fresh breads and pastries.

Coffee is pretty good and what there was for breakfast was decent, however I'm not sure you can legitimately say "brunch served all day" if there are no eggs available! Also place could do with a little facelift or go all-in with the shabby chic

Quite expensive, and the service wasn't particularly fast. Paid a lot for fresh orange juice with breakfast and it was served in a tiny cup, and the granola with fruit took over 10 minutes. Granted we came in as a relatively large group of 6. The interior was really nice and the food was good in the end though.

The Place is a really unique coffee shop. It's buzzing with locals and has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are super pleasant and relaxed, chatty and have a smile on their faces.

One of my favourite spots in Islington, a hidden gem of a coffee shop with a great relaxed work vibe, dreamy coffee and food. Only down side is it's quite pricey (£2.80 for a Latte isnt bad, but £6 for a Ham and Brie sandwich is slightly gut wrenching), luckily the food is worth it!
