A place for Theatre lovers indeed. The staff and service is lovely, although when we went there was a very limited amount on the menu due to certain things such as the share platters not being previously popular when things were picking up again after a certain plague that shall not be named stopped many places from opening for business previously. So the choice was toasty, cake or pizza. However the drinks were good and they do alcoholic cocktails also.

I've always loved visiting here and I went to the reopening Bloggers and press night. They have made some amazing changes (I don't want to spoil for anyone) but I can say they are amazing! The venue looks fantastic, the staff are all really friendly, fun and welcoming. They have a wonderful range of food and drinks, the atmosphere is really great. I highly recommend The Theatre cafe and all it has to offer.

Fantastic place to visit if you love everything Theatre darling! 😘 As you walk in, your eyes are greeted with various posters and props from current and previous musicals and you can sit near the windows or at the end by the stage area. There's even a piano and people do play it too. Plus people perform on the stage aswell. Even the toilets are cool, you find them by going down lighted stairs and there's a huge mirror and settee with Theatre Café cushions. The drinks selection is so cool, you can choose milkshakes named after musicals. Visit here before or after a show or just because you need too 😉

Love this place lots of choice of drinks . Food is a toastie or panini lots of different cakes usually have cocktails on tap but the Saturday I was there they were all off . There is not much seating and once they are full it's take away only .

Lovely theatre inspired cafe. The drinks are nice yet average. Me and many others in the cafe had simply come to see the theatrical inspired decor rather than the food for sale. Very small cafe so it can be very difficult to find a seat. The order desk is slightly weird too as you pay at one end which is near to the back of the cafe and then you have to go back down to the front near the door to collect your beverages, which wasn’t made very clear.

Super tasty vegan cake 🍰 The only alternative milk is soya milk though, which makes the coffee not taste good, unfortunately. It would be perfect if there was oat or almond milk as these options go extremely better with coffee.

Surprisingly good. We received a voucher for a free snack and drink when purchasing theatre tickets and were surprised and delighted to enter a warm and friendly place and be given hot tea and a choice of pastry.

Loads to look at while you have drinks and cake .The vegan Chocolate and raspberry cake is delicious. Only downer is they have changed the cups for a slushy and Milk shake so small for £3.50 & £4,00. Love looking at who you are sitting on as some chairs have names on the back.My daughter always picks here to have a drink when we are up Town and serenades me to all the tunes from the musical's which play from the jukebox.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Theatre Cafe. As an avid theatre fan, it was a must see during my visit to London. They have themed tables for many musicals, and also a lot of musical memorabilia framed around the walls. Frequently, many west end performers stop by for signings and performances. There is a wide variety of food, and the staff are extremely energised and kind.

A lovely cafe but often it is difficult to find a seat die to its sheer popularity. The announcement of another location is greatly welcomed and I look forward to visiting the new location. There is stagey memorabilia located throughout the cafe and you can always see a smiling face whether that be from a member of staff or from a fellow customer. As it's located right near the heart of the west end it is easy to find and definitely recommend a visit on your next theatre adventure.

It's such a lovely spot for musical lovers. It's in a good spot, right among all the theatres in Picadilly Circus. The staff are always friendly and singing and really helpful. The cafe is quite small so of it's busy, there is very little space but you can always take anything to go.

We happened by this place just by chance looking for a coffee shop and I'm so glad we did the place is fab it has lots of memrobila from Broadway shows and full on Broadway hits playing as we were coming to see les mis this was fablous the staff are so friendly and helpful I had a great conversation about the show we were seeing and the guy gave me some great tips about the theatre the drinks were really reasonable and there is plenty of space a lively little cafe to take a liad off and have some cake we loved it so much we came back the next day as well they also sold tickets to shows as well but I didn't see what the offers were Also side note if you playing Harry Potter wizards unite then there is a challenge tower here and plenty of inns 🥰

Bit bonkers really. Coffee and a cake were good. Decor was musical theatre themed which was fun. Songs from the shows played all the time and were a bit irritating. If you are having a pre theatre coffee then it will put you in the mood. If not, try elsewhere.

Occasionally they’ll have live performances in the Theatre Café. If you want to attend, generally they’re free, but do make sure to arrive in plenty of time to be guaranteed admittance. Staff are helpful, but when the venue which is capacity, there’s no way you’ll be able to squeeze in.

Small but perfectly formed cafe in the heart of London's theatre district. Loads of posters from various shows and some great musical theatre soundtracks as the background music make this a lovely place to immerse yourself in the west end.

Open mic is on Tuesdays and Sundays so try to head there then. Go to Mr Foggs just down the road beforehand if you need a pint or two to get you feeling brave enough. Besides from the singing, general cafe is still great :) I try to sit under the Hogwarts banners, so everyone can see how visibly overexcited I am :D

A cosy cafe close to soho that serves great coffee and brownies. It is tiny and on a busy street so it is difficult to get a table especially during the weekends. There is a lot of musical and theatre memorabilia such as posters or original props. I went with a friend around closing time and the barista was kind enough to let us have a coffee and a brownie and have it inside while he was closing the place. I highly recommend it if you are tired of going to the big coffee chains and want a theatrical experience. Sometimes they also organise karaoke!

(Translated) Very nice place to have a hot drink and a piece of cake. Everything is delicious and amazing. From the names of the drinks and cakes to the decor, everything is reminiscent of musicals. Not to mention the soundtrack! And the decorative touches to the toilets! We love (Original) Très bel endroit pour prendre une boisson chaude et une part de gâteau. Tout est délicieux et incroyable.
