Reviews of Tram Store

Very Eclectic Cafe. From the Glass and Raw metal door frame. This store will inform you of the New Energy of the area. You will feel very welcome and If you know how 'to behave' in a cafe/gift store, inside of a historic venue it is very worth a look.
V. R.
It is a lovely space. I really like the idea of a cafe, selling eggs/milk/juice and also having space for gifts, little objects and things you might also want to buy.
But, in places, it’s style over substance:
They don’t do table service but don’t have numbers on the table. So you have to describe where you’re sitting and hope that the waiter doesn’t walk past you and leave your coffee with a surprised punter on a different table. 🤷♂️
When I ordered a breakfast I asked for crispy bacon. “Sure!”. Except it comes over as the opposite of crispy. Again no big deal but this place is not cheap so it leaves you just wondering whether they care or not. 🤔
Then you’re supposed to get a choice of orange juice or Virgin Mary with breakfast. I was told they only had orange that day. Again…no problem. Except the table next to me, who’ve ordered after me. all have Virgin Marys (and keep saying to each other how great they are). 🤦🏻♂️

Excellent breakfast and excellent customer services. Nothing was too much. Warm and friendly with a good sense of humour. Fab decor of old stables and beautiful floral and plant displays. Tasty food presented well. Its the second time I've been here and would defo recommend this place. I had scrambled tofu with smashed avocado on sourdough bread and portobello mushrooms and chilli jam. I cannot wait to rebook again. They had an outdoor area to sit and eat, but was small with a poor view, but they made the best with the small outdoor space they had.
A. W.
Enjoy the occasional coffee from here and have had a nice brekky too. Interior is lovely and I like that you can buy small gifts too. The staff are a bit hit and miss, hence losing a star
V. P.
Interest fairly unique decor with bonus of gifts on sale. Which is what gets the 3 stars. Pop in for takeaway coffee every now and then and leave happy enough. Decided treat myself and work there and eat in recently and it really was one of the worst breakfasts I’ve sat down to in a long time. A dry badly thought out collection of food on a plate.

Met a friend after their yoga class nearby. Stunning venue, beautiful setting, good coffee, relaxing music.

One of the best places in north London. great atmosphere (the playlist is lush), attentive and extra friendly staff, food is literally is 10/10 especially if you’re looking for vegan/vegetarian options. The whole vibe makes you don’t wanna leave this place before closing (mainly because of how the staff makes you feel welcome all the time).
K. K.
Lovely place! Amazing staff! Food and music 😍
The little shop adds to it :)
A must visit !
Oh , make sure you get mashed avocado ;)

Absolutely love this place and its biophilic theme. It’s spacious and airy with a lot of natural light coming in, and exposed brick walls. There are lots of plants around (some which they are selling) and eco-friendly and ethical merchandise displayed for sale. It feels cosy and a world away. Easy going sound track put on and it’s a conducive space for work or meetups. Staff are friendly as well. Coffee was delicious. Ordered the big breakfast £13 (quite pricy for its ingredients but it comes with a free juice/bloody Mary) and it was flavourful and of good quality. I thought the chilli jam was brilliant. I also liked how I can get chilled still water from a draft tap. The attention to details, be it food or deco is what makes this cafe stands out. Quality cafe and solid concept.

Superb full breakfast includes a juice - great deal. The iced coffee was also delicious. Really good value and the store is beautifully decorated with lovely atmosphere.

I like the vibe in here, good coffee. But the food I had wasn’t good. The boiled eggs were really undercooked, I sent them back and the second go (pictured here) were slightly better but as you can see still a lot of clear yoke. So I didn’t eat them, and it wasn’t cheap.
I do like the environment & building though, I just wouldn’t eat here again
M. T.
Beautifully put together place with friendly staff and tasty food. Lots of veggie and began options and their coffee is great. Also has nice cards and gifts for sale. Find it with the what3words address ///estate.comb.open

In love with this place! Absolutely lovely staff, coffee, location! Unique gifts, vegetables, groceries and plants too!

Late on a Sunday pm when my partner and I were too poorly to leave home, a very nice man from Tram Store arrived on a bike with a huge, lovingly made roast beef dinner. They did not hold back on the gravy and the creamed leeks were a lovely little touch. Cheered us up, big time.

Been here a number of times (x6) most recently I've found that the portions have got smaller. Not the cheapest for what you get. 2 brunch breakfasts that comes with orange juice, 2 oat flat White's = £32 and still left being hungry. The flavours are awesome the environment and vibe is super but I just wish the portions were a little bit bigger
M. G.
Lovely place and interior. Unfortunately I can't recommend the breakfast, as the portion is tiny and costs 13£ for a light English breakfast. 2 slices bread and bacon with 2 eggs and a juice is not enough for that price.
c. m.
Nice nice nice, love the food is really good. Wonderful place to stop and stay, great atmosphere and very kind and amicable staff.
E. K.
Great coffee, delicious food & cool vibe.
R. B.
This has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely baked selection with hot food and well served coffee. Ground floor and buggy accessible though I'm not sure about wheelchair users for bathroom. Reasonably priced to the area.
F. F.
Great coffee, good vibes, free wifi. Espresso 2.5, Flatwhite 2.8 not so cheap but perfect for a chat with friends.
M. L.
This place is so beautiful. Full of plants and amazing things. You can rather enjoy a brunch, Sunday roast or buy some plants!!!!! The service was excellent. And the food amazingly tasty. 100% worthy!!!!
J. d. T.
Great little coffee shop come shop serving great breakfasts / brunches. (Vegeterian and vegan friendly)
A. P.
Cute and quirky place with homewares, gifts and a lovely menu. Had the vegan yoghurt and Granola bowl and a great coffee. Happy we stumbled upon this place and will be back! Also very dog friendly.
S. M.
Such a great little cafe. Vegan cakes. Iced coffees. Cactus plants and other little oddities to buy. Very friendly staff.
E. G.
Beautiful Flowers & plants cafe 😍
Perfect spot for my morning Orange juice
Great atmosphere 👌

Great food - ordered a Sunday roast mainly because I am vegetarian and a lot of other places that do Sunday deliveries only deliver meat. Food was excellent and really well packed such that it was still very hot when unboxing. Good portion size we were all very full afterwards. I also asked to add a few more roasts only a few hours before and they made it possible so great flexibility as well. All desserts were also very nice especially the crumble. It felt very reasonably priced given the amount of food you get and the quality. Thank you again!
S. P.
This is the Best of the Best if you want a descent Sunday roast in London. Unbeatable food and surroundings. Even if you don't have Sunday roast believe me the food and standard of service there is worth way more than you will pay. Honestly if you Dont eat you're missing out, but dont worry because you'll be enamoured with the feast for your eyes... staring at your surroundings. There are so many visual cues that they were originally the stable's and sheds for the London's horse drawn trams.
E. H.
I love this place but it’s absolutely freezing inside in the winter. Expect to see customers wearing coats and scarfs inside. Not the cozy vibes I’ve enjoyed in the warmer months.
B. M.
This is a beautiful coffee shop in London. Amazing atmosphere with full of lovely plants... and great coffee!

Just wish I lived near here. Fabulous breakfast of avocado and poached egg on toast, coffee was fabulous. It has such a wonderful, relaxed feel.
T. H.
Love the decor and music in here. The coffee, that I had at least (americano), wasn't all that great. I was surprised as climpsons coffee is usually good.
J. W.
Beautiful, cosy, down to earth cafe. Yummy food and great coffees
b.
had a yummy oat milk chai in this leafy sanctuary and left feeling super relaxed

Can’t believe this place doesn’t have loads reviews.
Lovely cafe with beautiful plants and fresh flowers. Good quality coffee. We had mushroom with tarragon on toast and avocado toast. Yums. Great space to work from too.
My new favourite in the area.
A. B.
Lovely atmosphere, very nice interior, amazing skylight and the place itself is full of light therefore!
L. A.
Drove past this cafe today on our way to collect furniture. It caught my eye so much so I noted it down to visit in future... But on our way back I suggested to stop for a quick coffee and wow was not disappointed. The cafe is absolutely stunning; really cool warehouse decor and the massive hanging plants really set the place a light!! The coffee was excellent, we have oat flat whites. I also had some matcha and raspberry brownie thingy, I could taste the baking soda / powder so not so good - I didn't mention anything to the establishment. In spite of this, I cannot wait to go back for brunch! Menu looks great! A real gem!!
G. V. M.
I love bringing my laptop to this cafe and enjoying the lovely plants, nice coffee, and great ambiance. See you this afternoon :)
A. B.
I did an online order at 5pm on a Sunday for delivery to a postcode they didn't deliver to because I didn't read their page properly. They kindly processed my refund promptly. Great customer service in the face of obvious stupidity on my part. Once things are back to normal I look forward to visiting in person as their Sunday roasts look great.
E. D. V.
We stopped here for a coffee as we were visiting in the area and we were not disappointed! Creamy and strong, the latte was the perfect remedy for getting us started for the day. Lovely atmosphere: jazz music, light and airy and plenty of plants. We sat in the window watching the world go by. Will definitely return.
F. D.
Delicious food and drinks, and a delightfully decorated space - compromised only by the unwavering coolness of the employees. On a couple of occasions I was left waiting for food / snapped at by an employee who mistakenly thought I had taken another customer's drink - neither incident was a big deal to me but an apology from the staff would have been appreciated. As I said, food and location is great so I will continue to go, but customer service could be more welcoming!
b. s.
Superb Expresso with a real kick, excellent sandwiches and proper home made 🍰.
m. g.
Great vibe with unique interior. This popular meeting spot shows up the bland large coffee chains. If your in the area it's a must try. Fun selection of exotic teas as well.
A. S.
Best shakshuka I know of, great flat white to go with.
R. G.
Best coffee in Town ! I love this place!
P. S.
This coffee/snacks and miniature plants shop looks great. But service was poor ! I hobbled in on crutches, broken foot, and was impressed by the great decor. But they took 8mins to bring a coffee to my table !!! Not impressed
M. H.
Just beautiful. A wonderful place to whittle away an hour on a Sunday morning.
l.
Very lovely place .super cosy
Food was really good and full of flavours .
Very good coffee ☕
Definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing moment out of the crazy busy life of London .
B. J.
Amazing food surrounded by beautiful plants (all available to purchase) proper little treat.
B. B.
Really like the building, it feels like you're in a garden. Food was really nice and had a wide variety, especially for a lactose intolerant person. Coffee, cake and drinks are great.
H. C.
Nice place to meet friends over coffee/cakes. Relaxed vibe, friendly staff, and a good selection of food and drinks. We're lucky to have Tram Store in the area.
R. D.
Moved to the area this weekend and the Tram store was the first it stop for a coffee. Firstly the place looks amazing, its got so many plants it probably has its own eco climate. Tasty coffee and amazing home made cake selection, will definitely be using this as an office in the future.
D. M.
Soo lovely place but they don't have gluten free products and location is a bit wrong on maps. It is on main road.
D. G.
Didn't know this place existed! Nice and close to the station, really welcoming environment, great coffee and such nice staff. I was served by a barista with red hair who was so warm and friendly - she really brightened my morning! x
A. D. V.
Wonderful little cafe. Great caffe latte , strong and flavoursome and served in a glass of perfect size. Top marks to the barista! Rustic ambiance on a Saturday morning with soothing music.
A. F.
A very popular cafe with good coffee and an interesting history - the former tram sheds dating back to the days of horse drawn trams.
G. C.
Lovely cute coffee place. Cant wait to experience it properly when it reopens fully but for now I'll enjoy my takeaway coffees.
B. J.
I just had the most delicious vegan wellington / sausage roll of my life. I'm dying. It's freezing outside but I'm contemplating leaving the house to go back and get another one.
M. G.
Everything about this cafe is great. Beautiful decor, light and fab healthy food

Amazing atmo, great food.
L. L.
Beautiful and calm place. funny, engaging and lovely staff. Nice things to eat and buy!! It always feels like home 😃🥰
T. A.
A lovely space, well decorated with cheese plants and shabby chic furnishings. Good food and friendly staff, but painfully over-priced, even at the rate of gentrification in Clapton
A. S.
Beautiful space. So well done up. Really good food. Nice staff. And a shout out to the owners for being so tasteful in every aspect.
A. C.
I've been here frequently recently, sheltering from the gloom of winter. It's not your standard unrelentingly cool speciality coffee vendor and the coffee may not even be that special at all but the owners have created something somewhat different, the space has achieved a sense of delicacy within the industrial shell of the old tramstore. On the face of it, it's not for me Clive, thank you but no thank you. But I've come you found a little sanctuary in amongst the perpetual bustle generated by the flock of spandex clad boujis who fall out of the trendy gym adjacent ravenous for their avacados. The fare is fair but nothing aspirational but the overall charm and grace transports you somewhere else after a long days bus spotting on the Clapton roundabout. A touch pricey but I guess titchmarsh's fee for the upkeep of all those trailing plants must be quite something
J. L.
I went mid afternoon . It was quiet an oasis considering the busy Leabridge Road roundabout outside the door. I had a very nicely made coffee and a pastry. I would highly recommend this place .
R. A.
Always friendly and welcoming, a lovely little spot for coffee or work
J. O.
Had an amazing delivery Sunday roast. Great and kind staff and delicious food. Highly recommend.
J. H.
What a building. What a skylight. What a coffee. What a croissant with brie, bacon and tomato (even though the barista said it was cheddar). What plants. What an experience.
D. L.
Cute little coffee shop in Clapton. They also have brunch, cake and sandwiches. They also sell plants and home decoration.
C. M.
A warm and inviting stop off before teaching an evening class. Lovely quiet atmosphere and the coffee and cardamom bun were delicious!

F. A.
Good coffee, like the plants, will be back to try the food!
S. W.
Little bit of Paradise inside, however the prices are a little high for food considering the prices around the surrounding area. Would recommend a seat by the window perfect for people watching
S. K.
nice atmosphere. unusual to pay £3.30 for a cup of coffee (4oz) in Clapton.
L. W.
Atmos was a bit 'cookie cutter hipster' for us but nice coffee and v generous avo on toast
