Nice and cozy coffee shop just by the station. Selling lots of cool merch and plenty of delicious looking sandwiches and pastries. Stopped for a flat white here. Very friendly service and they have a great loyalty card system and some delicious looking brunch menu with very reasonable prices. Worth stopping by here! My flat white was also very good quality and came in a beautiful cup. Experience overall was wonderful. Will stop by again!

I have been coming to Urban Baristas for 2 years now and absolutely enjoy the friendly environment and the coffee with pastries. Every staff member is unique and has an interesting story to tell :) . The Wi-Fi is also good, it is been good to get out of the house and occupy a little table in the corner to do some work. And as for the coffees I really enjoy the beans that are being used and the taste just suits my palette.

⚠️ New Best Matcha in Town alert! 🍵 ⚠️ They also have delicious protein globules (I feel an internal resistance to calling them 'protein balls' but erm, OK, this place has the balls!😁) The staff are very friendly and helpful too. Cosy interior and long opening hours. Easy to find, right next to the Overground station. If you're around Wapping, try this place, you must.

If you want to have real coffee, this is a good place to start. Great brews with nice modern seating area. Staff was well prepared and always present. I had a very relaxing morning here and would definitely come again. The carrot cake was delicious and the flat white made to perfection. Cheers!

Overpriced coffee. Small cups. Extra for alternative milk. The cup is too small to have the chance to appreciate the coffee. Staff seemed quite indifferent. Second time the banana bread was stale and the coffee was cold. Have been going there for eat out help out - otherwise not worth it at all. There are nicer places in the area for more affordable prices and nicer service.

Pretty good generally and most staff are lovely! It is sometimes inconsistent depending on who is making the coffee, I've had some barely warm and uber hot lattes from there, maybe it has to do with how the coffee needs to be extracted.

Most of the times coffee is delicious, from what I have observed they measure and prepare coffee by the recipe. I also had some rather mediocre, not properly extracted shots, but with espressos it’s tricky to get it right every single time. Can’t complain though, this is a go to place when you seek a nice, specialty cup of coffee prepared from freshly roasted beans in Wapping.

My husband and I are regulars at this wonderful coffee shop, the staff are very polite, they lisern clearly to what you are ordering and we have never had any problems with the staff. We sometimes treat our little girl who is Autistic and they are so kind and patient with her. I highly recommend this baristas as not only there coffee is to die for the staff are always pleasant to all there customers and they are also dog friendly to which they have a dog bowl full of water for the customers dogs.

I’ve been coming to Urban Baristas since it opened 4 years ago. The coffees and pastries are delicious. And I always bring my visitors over for a good coffee. I wish I could give a better review for this coffee shop. Have been walking past here for nearly a year. Very clean and has good options of bakery goods. Their white chocolate croissant is very good alongside their coffee. Albeit the pricing is on the higher side but understandable as it's an independent store. However their customer service is some thing that I've had issues with on more than one occasion. I was hoping maybe I'd be received better with different staff on different days, unfortunately the same result. I do feel my headscarf slightly put them off. Unfriendly, and looked at me a little shocked. They were fine with other customers which left me a little deflated. I hope they do come across my review as I loved their croissants. There's a coffee place around the corner from here which I discovered. Super lovely and friendly and even have a smile on their face for free regardless of what you're wearing or your background.

Overjoyed at the quality of Urban, especially as it’s right on my regular dog walk. Excellent coffee and an eclectic mix of alternatives (beetroot, charcoal, turmeric) and milk substitutes (almond, soy etc). All done in a relaxed, stylish setting (think Workshop London, Panther Miami or Elsewhere NYC). Avocado cake was delicious and the hounds loved their treats. Love it.

Loved the coffee, which apparently is their own blend. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Coffee was made to my requirements and I ended up with a good smooth Cortado. Screen on counter, so all food was covered. I would have been more comfortable seeing all staff wearing masks. I would certainly call again very soon no doubt, and maybe try the food. Thanks 👍

They’re good and they’re the only local but PLEASE train your baristas to be consistent as compared to one another - sometimes I get a perfect cottage (thank you ginger barista on a Monday morning) and sometimes I get a small latte (poor cortado, brunette female weekend barista). For the high price that you charge, it’s gotta be consistent. And the pastries also could deal with improving (more flame and crumb, less chewiness). Otherwise excellent!

Always try and call in when I'm passing; yes the cup sizes are smaller than Costa but coffee itself is lovely. Food is always fresh which you don't mind paying that little bit extra for. In these uncertain times its a little gem.

Amazing service, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The store offered a variety of gluten free and vegan food choices as well as alternative milk choices for those who don't drink dairy. Had indoor and outdoor seating. I had the turmeric latte and a vanilla doughnut which was so yummy! Would recommend.

My favourite coffee shop in London. This is where I learnt what real coffee is like. My go to drink is an oat milk flat white and it really changed the game for me being a non-dairy milk drinker. The staff are all so wonderful, they're so friendly and always start a conversation when I visit. The manager served me the last time I was there and she was so nice and polite. I highly recommend this cafe, you will not be disappointed I promise!

Staff were very kind, amicable people. The shop itself was nice, with seating for about twenty people across perhaps five tables. WiFi was good, and it offered a nice atmosphere to do work in, or read a book. Filter coffee (£2.40) was served in a conical flask... a little pretentious, a bit extra, but whatever. Embarrassingly though, it was lukewarm. Not piping hot, not hot, not drinking temperature. Lukewarm. It’s easy enough to forgive them trying to be a bit different, but perhaps get the very basics right before moving into weird territory. There’s a million coffee shops in London. Shall try somewhere else next time. Coffee = 0 Stars. Staff and seating = 5 Stars.

Best coffee shop in Wapping. Staff are always very friendly to us and our dog and the coffee is consistently good. Since the latest manager has taken over, this place has gone from strength to strength. Love that it is run by an all female team!

My local coffee place that does a great breakfast/lunch. Coffee is great - I normally drink iced latte. Vegan pistachio loaf was an amazing surprise - they cut you a big slice so it’s perfect to take you from breakfast to lunch! Love it!

Urban coffee is quite probably the best and nicest coffee shop in Wapping. From the different guest coffees to the way the staff treat everyone as a close and trusted friend. Nothing is to much for them. I and my wife go out of our way to go to Urban's. I have even taken clients to drink there. I also recommend this coffee shop to my fellow photographers. Everyone loves this place

Headed to Urban Baristas for a tea and coffee this morning, I got the Guatemalan filter coffee which was great, and my partner got an Earl Grey tea which she also enjoyed :) they had great fast wifi there as well and it was a very friendly and cosy cafe. Their brekky menu looks great, so will definitely be back for breakfast sometime soon! :D

Good coffee, and I really appreciate the effective social distancing measures. Only one customer inside at a time, both baristas are wearing masks, and a plexiglass divider. As London starts to open up, we need more businesses to take this approach!

I’m glad urban barista is participating in too good to go but I have to say the magic bags advertised can be misleading. They are sold for £3 and apparently contain left over food for the value of £8. I’m not sure a single sandwich or 3 croissants are worth £8. I know the restaurant and customers are participating to combat food wastage but at the same time I would also expect the restaurants to be transparent , after all they are still receiving a payment. One idea would be to sell food at half price a half hour before closing.

The food, coffee and staff are good. However Wapping Urban Baristas needs to keep to its advertised opening times on a Saturday. If your website says you are open at 8am then you should be open at 8am. Otherwise all good.
