Really lovely atmosphere, super friendly and - last but not least - great food. I had the vegan breakfast, including fried plantain, mushrooms and tomato, and my partner had a more traditional Mediterranean dish. Both were really yummy and set us up nicely for the day ahead

I personally wasn't that excited about food here.. I think it could be improved. I'd rather wait longer for it to be done nicely than get it almost immediately and feel like it's not done properly.. ( we ate it anyways as we don't like waisting food BTW). beans seemed cold.. like they been kept in microwave for 2 sec.. small details like caramel iced coffee.. for the price I expected it to come nicely with cream and caramel on the top but what I got seemed like regular supermarket ice coffee poured over the ice in plastic cup.. that's it. also requested for well done /crispy bacon that was not done after request. however I'm giving 4 stars because the man who served us was very nice and welcoming.. and the music they play is nice. like the whole atmosphere is amazing there for me is just that i couldn't taste effort and love in my breakfast. it seemed very rushed and not done up to the best.

Excellent visit today. Im a first time customer here, visiting after a trip to Whipps Cross. I had The Waffler, which was great. Homemade thick and fluffy waffle. The streaky bacon was delish and the coffee strong and good quality. On top of this, the service was excellent. Warm and friendly. Very genuine people. I will be back to try more of the menu.

Love this cafe , good quality sausages friendly service ,great prices . they even give you free extras sometimes , unlike Most cafes / coffee shops in Walthamstow who are penny pinchers . They will charge you for absolutely everything plus service charge ... I find the penny pinching coffee shops very off putting plus they are extremely ridiculously exspensive

This is my favourite cafe in the local Walthamstow area. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, with a wonderful selection (particularly for breakfast - full English to Turkish to vegan to American-style waffles and pancakes). The service is excellent, love that it’s run by a family working together. I think we’ll be here every week! Highly recommend this local gem!

Have been enjoying Urban Bites almost since it opened. So wonderful to have this lovely cafe nearby. Just ordered from them from JustEat and they went above and beyond. Ordered cheesy chips but they had run out of cheese, so they included a refund in the delivery itself. Probably the most hidden gem I have ever found in London. Staff is super friendly, portions are extremely generous and - oh my God! - the Menemem dish is an absolute must! Truly genuine 5 stars. Opportunities for improvement - it lacks one or two extra vegetarian options, and the decor might trick some customers in thinking this is just "another greasy spoon". If I am in the area and hungry, I will know where to go!

Absolutely incredible food and lovely staff. Quick service and great prices, but what really made our meal special was how wonderful the staff were. They offered us free water because we were working on a hot day, and they even walked an elderly couple that came in to their table! Every single member of staff was so kind and sweet- a welcome change to a lot of restaurants. The food, too, was incredible. I had the burger and my friends had the fried chicken and waffle, and the chicken burger. Every dish was delicious, freshly made, and heartily portioned. Overall, this was undoubtedly a 5-star experience BOTH times I've been, and I'll definitely be coming back again.

Called in today for a late breakfast and was really impressed with the food, coffee and the friendly service. We had a set 3 and a set 4 mine coming with bubble which was lovely. We stumbled on this place as we travelled past on the bus. It looked great from the outside and a breath of fresh air compared to other places in the area. We went there for brunch and it completely exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were delicious and very good value. I had the Urban Mega breakfast and couldn't even finish it. Ontop of this, all breakfasts come with free toast and tea/coffee! My girlfriend had the Mediterranean breakfast and she said it was as tasty as the Turkish breakfasts she had when she grew up in Turkey. Will definitely be coming back here again and I thoroughly recommend it to all.

A great little café for breakfast and brunch. Kid-friendly (high chairs available) with lots of options and generous portions. The owners are welcoming and friendly. Their early opening times are especially handy if you have a small child or a morning commute. Very reasonable prices. My scrambled eggs, in 'The American' breakfast were especially well-cooked, and I liked that the breakfasts come with tea and toast. Highly recommend.

Working round the corner in a school and discovered Urban Bites on the second morning. Been in every morning since, shame to jobs coming to an end. The food and service is fantastic. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The scrambled eggs are the best ever. Adding to my earlier post. Spending at week weeks working up here so decided to try a few other items off of the menu rather than just a breakfast. The lads had omelettes on a couple of occasions and they looked amazing. The bubble and squeak made with potato and sweet potatoes, very nicely done. Great value for money and friendly owners/staff. Shame to jobs come to an end 🙁

First time visiting Urban Bites and I can honestly say it's an absolute gem of a place! The diner is clean the staff are super friendly and the food tastes just as good as it looks!! I had the clucking chicken burger (with real chicken breast) in a brioche bun, curly fries and beans and it was by far the best diner burger I've had!! I will definitely be visiting here again!

Wonderful cafe, just off Lea Bridge Road. Used to be the Cosy Cafe which l never tried. This is very stylish and beautifully renovated. A pleasure just to sit in and have a coffee but the food is excellent and the portions very generous. My scrambled eggs and smoked salmon will keep me full all day. Lovely family business and they deserve every success. Come try it!

I’ve been a few times to this venue, just off of the Leabridge Road E17. I had the Urban which in real terms is the full English. Comes with tea/coffee and toast. It’s a Friday treat to me and it’s DELISH. 5 stars very deserved.
