Ironically there is a certain prototype of a person that enters to get their takeout coffee and sit down here to enjoy the atmosphere. The atmosphere is undeniably brilliant. Very cozy with a rustic neo Nordic touch. Great selection of different kinds of cakes and brownies. Average pricing for coffees and other drinks. Had a hot chocolate. It was nice and made properly from high quality cocoa. Very decadent but perfectly mixed with the ingredient of milk. Worth a visit at least once if you’re a fan of high end coffee experiences.

One of the best speciality coffee shops in Shoreditch. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to explaining the various beans and blends on offer. The long black I had was subtle with fruity and sour notes, quietly excellent. The outside seating is comfortable and a great place to people watch. Recommended

Coffee was amazing (not bitter or burnt), and oat milk was steamed perfectly! The vegan banana bread was the right amount of sweet (if I could change one thing I’d add dark chocolate chips). The staff were friendly, the space was bright and clean. Laptops are allowed, excluding weekends, and they’ve got good wifi. I’ll be back :)

Cute place with a friendly staff. Coffee was amazing and the egg avocado toast was good, very generous on the salmon too. I wish it had bit more seasoning but it’s maybe just my personal preference. I will definitely go back!! (Hope they will keep the entrance door closed this time since it was freezing inside.)

First time we tried the Spitalfields branch of WatchHouse (we usually go to the one just across Tower Bridge) and the quality was definitely there. Our eggs, avocado and salmon brunch was scrumptious and served in a large portion (very good value). The overall decor was also very pleasant. Although, I had to knock off one star sadly as the wait for a table was long despite the fact that a table for 2 was free for a long time. The waiting staff informed us that a customer booked the table earlier but never turned up so we could have actually sit earlier. The entrance doors were also wide opened and despite the heaters we felt a bit cold as our table was right in front of it. Still a good experience overall so we might return.

Such a cool cafe, clearly very popular! Loyalty scheme through their app. Food looks amazing but expensive. Coffee was pretty good. Favourite part is the interior and the design of the whole place.

Absolutely great coffee shop and there is a number of locations do different sizes around London. Came in just for a quick black coffee and the staff were extremely friendly and relaxed. The ambience was super chill inside even when it was pretty full of people at all the tables. Absolutely love the feel of the inside and a beautiful coffee I had of course as well! For this type of coffee shop I would have liked a choice of roasts but that is very small. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and definitely avoid the chains! WatchHouse has to be one of my favourite coffee chains in London. Nice to check out another one of the cafes in Spitalfields. The staff were really friendly and always the coffee was delicious.

Just discovered this adorable cafe, smooth tasty latte. All the satff are friendly here, a cute lady brought me to seat and kindly asking my drink first. Feel so comfortable :))) Definitely recommended to friends and come back again.

Rustic independent coffee house with seating upstairs and downstairs. Cakes and pastries and a great hot menu too. I had a strawberry and mint smoothie was nice but sweet, coffees are really good too. Gets busy, but always a good sign. Location just outside spitalfields gives you a great start to your day

The best coffee in north London!!!!! Staff is very professional and kind, it can be tricky to get a table but the staff offers different alternatives if the tables are not available. Food is as expected, good in taste. They also offer vegan alternatives. And I think there’s no extra charge for plant milk which I highly appreciate!!! Will be returning to this store for sure.

ONE OF MY REGULAR BRUNCH SPOTS IN EAST LONDON! Endless times spent at Watchhouse and the staff are the reason I come back every time! Giara, you a truly a welcoming person and always make me feel welcomed with your entire team! Everyone knows exactly what coffee I drink: Iced Oat Mocha! They even know my extra toast wish 🤣 You get really good value for money and their food is yummy as well! I always go for the Avocado on Sourdough with extra roasted mushrooms and bacon. THANK YOU FOR BEING MY WEEKEND HOME 🥳♥️

Fantastic coffee, great savory and sweet snacks, vegetarian and vegan options available (I recommend the vegetarian sausage roll!), lower floor with more tables and a quieter area. Staff was very friendly and I would like to point out the pretty decoration, fresh flowers on the tables and soft colours of the interior design which makes it a reality nice place to hang out and have a coffee.

The coffee is great, especially with oat milk. The interior design is welcoming but also very hip with cute little vases of flowers. I love the brunch menu which has a wide variety of traditional options like eggs hollandaise going to a twist on french toast. It’s also friendly to remote workers on laptops during the week days.

Good coffee and decent vibe. WiFi was stable. But I am lightly shocked by the addition of a 12.5% service charge when you’re having just a coffee. The coffee is already pretty much as expensive as they get. A bit of a ripoff basically.

Best coffee in Spitalfields - no contest! Gets busy at the weekend, so if the weather is nice grab a takeaway and explore the surroundings.

Coffee was really good and beautifully presented. Eggs were fluffy and tasty. Pancakes were ok, think presentation could improve and wasn’t a fan of the coconut scratchings. Service was a little slow but understandable on a Sat. Atmosphere is great; vibey and good music. A downside is they don’t let you have a laptop on the weekend, and sometimes one has to work on weekends...

LOVE this place. Our coffee was unreal and they both came with a flavor profile card with info about where the beans are sourced etc. my partner had the eggs Benedict and I had the avocado on toast. Both great meals and very reasonably priced.

Super yum coffee, great design, friendly people and delicious food. I am happy to pay little bit more for all the above. I also appreciate the table service - there are not too many places with table service nowadays. However, if you want to have table service cafe you need to have people for it. As a customer you are completely ignored for good 20mins because there is a takeaway queue and all the people behind the bar serve them. If you want to do table service, have one or two people for that. Waiting to order for over 20mins is not cool - without ordering customers will leave.

Lovely place apart from the door being open so it’s always freezing and not cozy enough to sit there. Quite dismayed that my take away came in such unnecessary packaging though. Come on - we all need to do our part in sustainability. Metal straws really isn’t enough when you still opt for plastic which could easily be avoided ☹️

Is is the best place for breakfast brunch or simply a coffee- the coffee is amazing - best baristas Empire coffee is untouchable in terms I quality strength and taste - it’s the best coffee we’ve tasted - service by Faye and her team is spot on - there’s always a welcoming smile, little waiting time - if there is a wait a coffee and a bowl of water for Buster is promptly offered - and now the food ..... the full breakfast is a must -veg option is tasty as are- as poached on eggs avo and smoked salmon - love the buck wheat pancakes and the burritos and the sausage rolls - and the cakes..... needless to say when we’re in the neighbourhood-were in the watch house

Wow! Treated myself to pancakes at Spitalfields...bloomin heck! 2020 is clearly not all bad! Unbelievably tasty-if other places could take a leaf & make their vegan offerings just as thought out & tasty (& pretty!) that would be great because they’re setting the bar here. My new favourite local cafe! Very impressed by The Watch House- delicious, plentiful food (Shakshuka was best I've had in London and amazing pastel de natas), beautifully designed (with Japanese levels of attention to how everything is served) and a friendly atmosphere.
