Reviews of Whiskers & Cream.

Amazing place! The cats are clearly loved and well looked after, the staff were fab, super friendly and told us all about the cats and their personalities. The place was spotless also :) food was fantastic (we had the prosecco bottomless afternoon tea) - all very fresh and tasty. Couldn't fault it, can't wait to visit again.

Lovely staff, cute cats. The atmosphere was great. They also have tasty gluten free options for their afternoon tea cakes. Definitely worth it.

I have been there with my wife as we have been planning this visit to Whiskers and Cream for a long time as we live really close by . It's a great place to go for a afternoon tea or just to pop in for a cuppa while enjoy these lovely fellas company. They are very sociable cats and the members of the staff are friendly and explain how the cats are and behave. I strongly recommend Whiskers & Cream for all the reasons I have mentioned. 5 stars 🌟😻😻😻😻😻

This is a lovely, calm and peaceful place! The staff was very nice and polite, telling us about the history and personality of each cat. We enjoyed the food, but even more we enjoyed playing and cuddling the cats. We gonna return for sure!

I enjoyed visiting this two-floored cafe with 9 different cats but found it quite crowded, which meant having to wait your turn to pet them. The cats weren’t feeling playful on my visit but luckily we had Vanilla keeping us company at his table :) The service was faultless and super friendly and they also have vegan options for food and drink.

We loved the idea to get a cat breakfast in this lovely place. I did not check the place online before going thinking it was just a normal cafe where you can pop in and get a coffee, only with the great addiction of having few kitties running around. We got there and asked if it was possible to have breakfast in the cat’s room and yes, it was indeed possible, only we needed to pay £11 each in order to sit in the kitties room. So that’s why the three stars, the idea is lovely, the place is well cared for and you can tell the kitties are happy but I just wish they’d make the experience less expensive so it would be not just a one off thing but something you can do every day.

Had a lovely afternoon tea . We were told all about the cats which the staff all love. They were all very friendly and made it a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Will definitely return

Absolutely lively and lovely. The cats were amazing and the staff were very nice. The atmosphere is is apt if you want to come solo or even with family. Highly recommended!

Cats are a joy. Lovely just to spend some time in their space. Must say cats very accommodating and tolerant. Hot chocolate disappointingly insipid. Otherwise pleasant afternoon tea. Felt bookings etc being discussed over the phone in the seating area inappropriate and office or other area would be preferable to discuss such matters away from paying customers. (minus ⭐)
Very stringent re masks etc on entry.(minus ⭐)

Really nice coffees and afternoon tea selection. Most importantly are the furry occupants. We must've arrived during nap time as all the cats were asleep. There were 8 in total spread around the two floors of the cafe. The staff clearly cared for all the animals and told us a bit about each cat upon our arrival. Well worth a visit for any cat and coffee lover.

Happiest and most social cats ever, one even took a liking to my necklace and spent the whole 1.5 hours with me! All the cats looked well cared for and were constantly approaching the people for pets and play. The food and drink was top-tier; we had the hot chocolates, carrot cake, and scones all at a standard price. The staff were incredibly lovely (thanks Natalia!) and the place was super clean. I can't wait to return in the future!

Positives, afternoon tea and cats, very small portion of cream and jam, and had to ask for more which was a shame, also parking in area is pricy before 14.00. if you go after 14.00 parking is free in Marlborough Road which is opposite. Oscar is a real character. Also 90 minute max time

Me and my friend had a wonderful experience at whiskers and cream! The cats are clearly very well looked after and we had a lovely introduction to each of them at the beginning. We had the afternoon tea , and as I’m coeliac I had the gluten free option which I was really impressed by - lots of variety and very tasty. There were some building works occurring while we were there, so the owner moved us to a seat further away from the noise, gave us complementary Prosecco and allowed us to stay an extra 30 minutes which more than made up for it and really made our whole experience feel special. I’ve been to a few cat cafes and this was definitely my favourite - I will be back!

Amazing premises, great staff, decent food and drinks. But more importantly! Amazing cats!

A brilliant place to visit, the staff are wonderful, and really helped me out when I made a mistake in my booking (I stupidly booked the wrong month 🤦♀️ lol).
The cats are gorgeous and the cafe is excellent. Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.

Really cute and clean place with just a really sweet vibe, the people working there, the cats, and the customers r all just happy to be there and it shows 10/10 would move in there if it was possible

What an amazing place! Amazing staff, great drinks and cakes. Wonderful cats that were so patient with my curious toddler. It's such a relaxing place. So much respect for the cats, they are truly looked after. You can definitely see the love. This is what great management is about: ensures they are great at everything but also share the same values as a team. Very well organised. Thank you so much for such a fabulous experience!

Super cute cats and friendly staff. I had a really tasty baguette and hot chocolate! All the cats were so fun to play with and you can walk around and stroke them all.

Excellent experience with Arman at RepairPC13. He repaired my son's laptop (which another local "expert" deemed a total/not worth repairing) in one day, for just a nominal fee. I can't recommend him enough. Fast, courteous, competent, responsive, and beyond reasonable, price-wise. A+ all the way. Thank you, Arman

This is an excellent place if you love cats. Ironically my wife and I don’t, but our children absolutely adore them. The staff are welcoming, friendly and really knowledgeable about cats. All the pets within whiskers and cream have their own little back stories, which makes meeting the felines even more interesting. Furthermore, the food and beverages are incredible.

Went today for my birthday and had the most amazing experience! They’re the most reasonably priced cat cafe and you get a drink for free! I’ll definitely be back.

I love this place! The cats, the staff and the people here are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing, everyone is chilling and having fun. Perfect place to go with friends or by yourself, cats will always be there for you, but remember to be respectful to them :)
One cat fell asleep on my legs and it was the sweetest thing ever. Recommend this place to whoever loves cats. The price is reasonable and one drink is included. I'll make sure to come back whenever I'm in London!

Whiskers & Cream is a beautiful place where the personal is very nice and the cats are very playfull when they want to be. The coffe was good and I loved that they had books of a lot of things about cats. If you are a cats lover you definitely have to come to this place!

A lovely cat cafe with excellent Customer Service, the cats are clearly happy and well looked after. We had afternoon tea, which was delicious and well presented. We were seated downstairs and the cats didn't seem to come down there often however we had a little kitten love. You are allowed to go around the cafe to see the cats, however I felt a little uncomfortable as the location is small and other people are eating in those areas. The information on the cats from the staff was good and if you are a sensible cat person it's fine. I was uncomfortable with some other customers interactions with the cats I.e disturbing them when they are sleeping to get pictures, holding their heads up etc but this was the minority. Maybe some ground rules for the customers would be helpful as common sense is uncommon.
The cafe is very much set up for kitty comfort which is lovely to see and very clean.
Definitely worth a visit if you are a cat lover, because nothing is better than cats.
Clearly popular so definitely book in advance on weekends to avoid Disappointment.

The cleanest, tidiest cat cafe I’ve ever been. Friendly staff and cats. Very reasonable price. So happy to have the lovely cat sleep on my lap today. Got a card for collecting stamps whenever I visit. Will definitely revisit again in the future.

Been here a few times, the hot drinks and sweet treats have always been delicious and exactly what I wanted. The staff are very friendly, chatty and willing to help, and clearly all have a lot of love for the cats!
The cats themselves make it worth visiting, they all have their own personalities and are just delightful to be around.
E. T.
The staff here are absolutely lovely, they are all charismatic and charming and are easy people to talk to! It is obvious how much they love the cats and take very good care of them!
We were introduced to all the cats and told the back stories of the rescues, each cat is lovely and well trained! Vanilla definitely is the cheeky one!
Thank you for having us and making the surprise for my boyfriend so lovely! Will definitely come again!

My missus enjoyed the Cat Cafe and gave a 4/5, but id give it a 2/5.
First server was extremely nice and was extremely helpful. However there was an additional woman who snarked at me for accidently standing up without a mask.
Other general comments. Need more creative names for the cats for example Romeow, shakespaw, 3 mus-cat-eers.

I love Whiskers & Cream and can't wait for it to open again. Very friendly staff and fun to be around the cats. Nice for afternoon tea. I pre-booked afternoon tea for when the café is open again. I wish you were open right now for takeaway coffee and cat themed cup cakes and donuts so the community can do more to support.
I like stopping at your window when going for a run in the morning to say hello to the cats. Great way to start the day. :)

Visited today and really enjoyed ourselves, the cats were lovely, food was tasty and staff were friendly 😊

Lovely place, great service and the cats are great..some like going into you bags, and some like sitting next to you. The staff are really friendly and helpful and friendly. It is a bit pricey so i would say this more of a treat.

I took my friend here for a birthday treat. I can honestly say it was one of the best afternoon teas I've had in a while, the food was fresh and tasty, the lady who served us was absolutely amazing, super friendly and very knowledgeable with cats there.
The place itself is cosy with some well thought out touches. The seats were very comfy, it had a very homely feel to it, we didn't just feel like we popped into to someone's business.
I do need to mention the toilet in this review, they had lovely hand wash and cream, nappies and bits for babies. Also deodorant and bits for being caught short (ladies time)
I give this place 5 stars as it truly deserves it and I will be back.

I went yesterday with my boyfriend and we were served by a lovely lady (didn't get her name unfortunately but she had a black ponytail!) who took the time to tell us about each cat and their favourite toys and how they like to be petted best. Really enhanced the experience for us and clearly shows the love that goes into running the place and looking after the kitties.
We went quite early but it got a bit rowdy by noon. My only qualm is that there were some VERY young children (including a toddler!) running around grabbing at the cats and throwing toys in their faces when they clearly wanted to be left alone. I heard one of the cats scream very loudly in protest when three of the children surrounded him and began poking toys into his face and trying to pat him at one point. As a cat owner myself, it made me a little concerned that they were stressing the cats out, and as the two staff members were extremely busy with other tables and orders, they couldn't always step in to stop the kids from misbehaving. I think the cafe might benefit from more staff members on each shift so that customer-cat interaction can be better monitored? Our poor server had to dash off 2-3 times in between taking our order to get other plates out to other tables as well as keep an eye on the children, who at points were dashing up and down the stairs without a mask on!
The price is very reasonable given that a free drink is included with the 90 minutes, and they have a great loyalty scheme! Sweet treats were scrumptious and all the staff were very friendly and happy to help (despite being so busy!). The cats were very sweet, especially Jasper. Lots of toys laid out for you to use and tables and facilities were all constantly cleaned and tidy.
Overall, really lovely place and I will definitely go back. Thank you for having us!

We had unlimited prosecco afternoon tea. Lovely food and the other cakes available looked really good. Staff are lovely and very accommodating. Cars all very friendly and mostly rescue, which made it even more special. Would definitely recommend.

This is such a wonderful place! The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The cats are beautiful and seem very content to be stroked and pampered. There are also plenty of places the cats can go if they don't want to be bothered. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the hot chocolate is really nice too. 10/10 will go again.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Been wanting to go for ages and glad we got around to it. The place is lovely the staff are amazing and friendly. The food is great. And what else can we say but the cats the cats are the stars of the show. So many different personalities all over the place. A smile on my face from the moment we got there until hours after. I will definitely be going back!

Amazing service, amazing staff and amazing cats!!! Highly recommend!
If you book online you get a complimentary drink with your booking, and the food is delicious (cafe food, sandwiches and toasties and the like) well worth the trip. Staff could not be happier here, and it makes the place glow with happiness :)

A nice cosy two floored cat cafe, with a great polite staff including the adorable feline ones aswell

Lovely place to visit, to see beautiful cats and the staff and food are lovely

This is really is the cat's knees! One of the nicest (and newest) cat cafes I've visited. Staff were very friendly, informative and very clear about following current government social distancing guidance.
Staff made sure every visitor had a chance to engage with our feline friends, and made clear their varying temperaments.
The cats are all well cared for and little beauts! I did want to runaway with a few of them but cats being cats just turned their nose at me and walked away!
Go visit and support local businesses!
Thank you to you all for making this a great visit for us.

I visited this cat cafe today and was left really disappointed. Simply because of the poor customer service from one of the ladies working there (Monica) her name was. I travelled over an hour to visit today and everything was all good from seeing the cats and enjoying my hot drink but this particular lady ruined the entire atmosphere and my experience!! She was quite moody and very unwelcoming 😳When you visit these places, you pay for the service and experience too and we did not receive that from her today! She was huffing and puffing throughout the cafe, muttering stuff under her breath and ignored us when we asked a question about the cat. She was quite rude and passive aggressive with the way she spoke to us and made us feel like we were little children being told off! We felt so out of place that we even left early because of her and did not get to fully enjoy. This is a summary of what happened as we have sent our complaints but whiskers and cream - please try crack a smile from this serious women and please do teach her a thing or two about customer service, because I don't think I will be visiting here again or recommending this place to my friends. Simply because I don't want anyone to be told off or rudely spoken too, especially when they have come to enjoy themselves. Its not nice at all and ruins everything. 👍🏻

Couldn't have better people working there! The cats are adorable and full of personality and all the ladies working there were the sweetest and really cared for the little babies. Must visit if you love cats and the food was nice too!

I had a fabulous time at Whiskers & Cream! The cats were beautiful and friendly, and the food was delicious. Everyone who worked there was lovely and answered all of my questions about the cats. I will definitely be back!

Cute and cozy cafe. The drinks tasted amazing (latte and a mocha). The cats were very friendly and absolutely adorable. Spent 90 minutes there and it was absolutely perfect. Had a blast with the cats. Definitely going back.

Super cute cafe located in Archway with the warmest staff and adorable kitties! Spent 90 minutes with the cats there and it was absolutely worth it! The cakes and coffee served were really tasty. Definitely would go back!

I went for afternoon tea here with my sister here, earlier today! We had a wonderful time. Really kind and attentive staff, and so many adorable cats!!!!!
The food was lovely. We are both vegetarian and there was a super nice selection of finger sandwiches and really delicious sweet treats (the brownies were divine). The scones were amazing too!
Of course the highlight of the afternoon were the cats! We were told all the cats names, and what their personalities are like. They were wonderful cats, and their presence was very relaxing. Some were playful, some were calm and regal, some explored and others lazed around and groomed themselves!
I can't wait to go back again :)
M. O.
Great cats and service, average food, misleading booking rules. You will not get your booking deducted from your bill because you will be charged "zero £" on the door for the tickets.
I will go back anyway.

A very enjoyable afternoon spent at Whiskers and Cream. The staff are helpful and informative, lovely menu and good natured cats. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! One of the best cat cafés I have visited to date, with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and really care about the cats. The cats themselves have the time of their lives and are the sweetest little things. The food and drinks were also great, the afternoon tea portion is huge and we couldn't finish it all! Luckily they offered to box the rest up so we could extend the experience a bit longer. Would recommend to any cat lover!

Amazing experience for anyone that enjoys being around cats. Service, food and drink really amazing. Owner really amazing and interactive. Definitely worth a visit!

The cats; they were so snuggly, they were cute and there were lots of them. The words of a 5 year old. She is right. And the tea was refreshingly well paired with the crumbly scones
N. K.
I took my family here for afternoon tea as a Christmas gift and it was such a lovely experience! The food quality was high, the cats were very cute and the staff were really friendly. The atmosphere was also relaxed and you could tell the cats are treated well. Highly recommend if you love cats!

We visited the café yesterday and whilst some parts of our visit were lovely, I'd not return. The café is clean and beautifully presented, staff are friendly and the afternoon tea we treated ourselves to was delicious. However I was really uncomfortable with the treatment of the cats and lack of guest management around interaction with the cats. Several times Vanilla was approached by people ignoring the specific directions to only stroke his head, leaving him batting, nipping and biting people in a bid to be left alone. At one point I got so fed up of the staff witnessing this and not stepping in that I did so myself, firmly telling other customers "that's a no thank you" and reiterating the information about this traumatised cat (this was the description staff used as Vanilla had been previously mistreated). Sleeping cats were constantly being stroked, sometimes being roused in an attempt to play. One of the snoozing majestic Maine Coons was being roughly handled by small children, the mother asked her children to be gentle but the staff responded that it was OK as he's so relaxed. Enthusiastic young staff were consistently trying to engage with cats who really just wanted to be left alone. I feel there needs to be some work done to ensure the cats wellbeing and comfort are paramount, perhaps the introduction of an age limit, basic rules around interactions with the cats that are actively enforced by staff and staff themselves allowing the cats some space. I've seen these rules implemented at other cat cafés and it works incredibly well. As a cat lover and experienced cat owner I left feeling a little saddened and frustrated.

Loved the experience esp. for my 9 year old who's crazy about cats. We tried their breakfast and I particularly loved their dark hot chocolate. The cats are super cute and we spent most of the time with Jasper and Jack ❤️

They click all the boxes for me.
The best staff ever, chatty and welcoming.
The cats are friendly.
The cafe is clean and they meet all the cleaning requirements, they provide a mask too.
