I got the Workman's Breakfast. Perfectly cooked. Sausages had crispy outer skin, soft centre. The sweet, meaty parts of bacon. Bread had plenty of butter. Not greasy, but wholesome.

This place is a little gem, we were supposed to go to the Junction cafe just couple of doors away, however they were busy and full, so we thought we give this place a try. It certainly wasn't disappointing at all. We had tge workmans full breakfast to share. It was absolutely delicious yummy

Overall 3/5. Could easily be higher with a few tweaks. Negatives:Coffee was instant, most classic cafes now do espresso machine coffee included and this one had a machine so no excuse really. The cost is basically the same, why give customers awful tasting stuff. Also the build your own breakfast included £2 for less than half a can of tinned tomatoes, which was a rip off. Overall it’s more expensive than other classic type cafes. Positives: good quality bacon and other ingredients. It has some interesting choices lacking from other similar cafes like pancakes, freshly squeezed juice, iced coffees.

I've been going to Worksman Cafe for years now, I don't get there too often as it's some distance from where I live, but it is worth making the journey. In my opinion this is the best English Breakfast restaurant in London always big portions, freshly cooked, and cooked well too. I went there today and wasn't disappointed, it is consistently good, I've never had a bad meal there. Staff are always friendly too. Well done to everyone at Worksman Cafe. I recommend all their menu especially the golden Fish and Chips on Fridays.

Does exactly what it says on the tin - this is an archetypal worker's cafe, a proper old school, no frills, greasy spoon (a term I use with affection, it looked very clean to me). Everything here seemed to have a bit more flavour than the other nearby caffs I've tried, although my loyalty for the Regency Cafe down in Pimlico is unshakeable, and it's hard to imagine I'll ever find another place I like quite as much as there. Still, if you don't want to trek across London I think this may be the best option for full English breakfasts and other greasy spoon fare within a mile or two of here.

Recent refurb means that the atmosphere here is a lot brighter, more modern AND they take card payments too!! Delicious breakfast here today, served up quite promptly and with a smile!! 👌🏽👌🏽

I am a regular customer I have been going to workmans cafe for years now and the service is so excellent especially the Turkish girl that has been there for a long time she is very nice and even have talks with me when I’m feeling low and cheers me up. I would recommend that people go to this cafe it’s not just a cafe it’s a family environment.
