I’ve been here many times over recent years however on the last couple of occasions I’ve felt the service has dropped off quite a bit. The small things like not receiving all parts of my order at the same time & having to wait for half my meal to be given to me when the other half is already on the table. Also no mints by the till anymore??? It’s the small things that make the difference! Quite sad , but still a good place to go to, however it used to be better . .

I had a marvellous Green Reviver smoothie here - made to order. The BLT baguette was light on lettuce and tomato. Overall it's a clean and cheery place to get a quick bite to eat.

Went to Cafe Riviera with our grandchildren on the last day before November lockdown. We were all very impressed with the food we had and the grand kids were delighted with the great milkshakes. Service and staff were excellent. Our new favourite Maidstone cafe. Will definitely return after lockdown and may even use their takeaway service. Brilliant *****

Took the family to Cafe Riviera for the great Full English experience. My wife ordered and so did my son and daughter and for my grand daughter. The staff immediately brought over some colouring pencils and paper for our grand daughter, lovely. All our food, teas's, coffee's were hot and very tasty. A great customer experience for us all, as we were eating more and more customers were arriving, what a popular place this must be, it is now with our family.

My favourite café in maidstone by far. Good food, generous portions, friendly service and reasonably priced. The place is nicely decorated and always clean and tidy. I like set breakfast number 7 and my partner loves the ham and mushroom omelette. We always leave happy (and full!)

Great food, attentive staff. I had a hair in my food hence the loss of one star. Apart from hairgate, wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The hair was blonde and of medium length, say about 4 inches.

Lovely Cafe! I went there with my Fiance and she left without paying in error! A staff member came outside and asked if we had paid and the situation was quickly resolved! I thoroughly recommend this excellent eating venue. The "HARLEQUIN"!

Had a late lunch, delicious chevre salad, house wine very drinkable. Can't understand why the town planners of Cote D'Azur have allowed a main road to sit between the beach and all the sweet little beachside restaurants, which means open air dining next to a motorway. But that's not the fault of the restaurateurs here, who provide a decent lunch at a reasonable price
