Excellent quality food, very well presented. The desserts were really delicious. Chocolate brownies and Victoria sponge. Really friendly staff, covid safe and clean cafe.

T. H.First visit to the Bow Window. Popped in for a refreshment and toilet break after returning from France. Definitely somewhere we will visit next time we are in the area. Lovely food, a great local pale ale and really friendly staff and locals.
K. H.First time of going to the Bow Window coffee shop and the welcome was very warm and friendly. We could not fault the service nor the food. The whole place had a lovely feel to it and was clean and inviting. Our food was served quickly and was nice and hot. The home made desserts were to die for and we will definitely be going back. It’s dog friendly too, which is another big bonus.

T. R.Went the the Bow window cafe with my mother as it was a Christmas present from my brother. We were greeted by the very friendly staff and sat in the garden on a lovely sunny day. We had the afternoon tea and it was wonderful. Everything was home made and fresh and tasted lovely. Will be going back, and we can highly recommend. It was a fabulous treat 💖
L. C.Amazing afternoon tea. The food was delicious. The homemade cakes were especially good. It was a wonderful tea that I can't rate highly enough. The staff were so very lovely. I'll make this a firm favourite. Parking is also easy in Lenham.
B. A.Really good food in here. Bread was quite thick on the bacon buttie. Got a huge portion of tuna Mayo sandwiches and the cream tea was nice and warm. Overall really good experience. Also look around the rest of Lenham as there is lots of shops to look in.
H. P.Me and my wife popped to the Bow Window Cafe In Lenham last week! We were in the area visiting friends and this lovely little place got some great reviews online so we popped in to see what all the hype was about!
To start with the staff that ran the place were so lovely, so friendly and couldn’t have been more accommodating, we called in the morning to let them know we were coming around lunchtime and they had the table ready for us when we arrived albeit around 15 minutes late!
We both enjoyed sandwich’s and for me the tastiest Reuben sandwich I had ever had. The coffee was on point and the service throughout was spot on! We had a long chat with the owners on the way out and felt welcome from start to finish!
If you are in Lenham make sure you pop in and give this place a go!

j. c.I've been once and not managed to go again as this place is always booked up. It is a very small place though so that could be why. Nice afternoon tea but if you want more than two tiny pots of tea, you have to pay extra, whereas usually tea and coffee are limitless.

A. A.Excellent customer service and beautiful quaint venue. Tucked away so nice and private with a lovely garden to enjoy at the back. I visited for an afternoon tea which was pleasant but I felt the sandwiches could have had more flliing. It was almost too easy to finish the tea and in my book an afternoon tea should be plentiful so you find yourself struggling a bit towards the end. The staff were fantastic only issue was one new member still learning the ropes kept clearing away our dishes before checking we were finished (she w taking my plate away at one point when I had a half eaten profiterole on it and was reaching to eat it!).

We went this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it, a nice selection of finger sandwiches with greenery, miniature warm sausage rolls which were very tasty, scones with jam and cream and a selection of finger cakes with a choice of tea or coffee and a refill.
Very pleasant surroundings, lovely friendly staff, we would highly recommend and we will be returning to try the evening food menu.

J. M.Food was lovely, Staff were friendly, We went on a quiet sunday for afternoon tea and staff decided to polish neighbouring tables while we were still eating. Not sure why tables are cleaned with polish rather than detergents! As it's a small enclosed area, the polish was too overpowering and took away from the taste of the food.

b. o.Happened to be passing through Lenham this afternoon and found this wonderful little cafe. I ordered a coronation chicken sandwich and my fiancé had a salmon and cream cheese bagel. Both were great, and the portions more than enough to leave us stuffed! Will definitely be heading back and can't wait until they're open for seatings to try their afternoon tea!

S. T.Absolutely hidden gem, wonderful tea rooms with a vast choice of delicious lunch or lighr bite choices. The wraps were served with the right amout of extras, sandwiches packed full of filling and paninis tasted really good. Lots of choices available and the specials board had lots of temptations. If you had room after that then the dessert menu had covered all of the sweet tooths desires. Good selection of Teas, coffees plus more if you fancied something stronger. The afternoon tea selection was served on a tiered tray and with plenty of sandwiches, cakes - including fresh cream scones. Would really recommend finding the Bow Window and taking some time out to indulge.

Take away only, unfortunately for the time being but was delighted to be served with a smile!

W.Love this place , food is delicious , with great staff , in lovely settings , only reason I've given 4 rather than 5 stars , is 2 businessmen sharing 1 pot of tea , business papers, laptops , phones going off etc etc, one a bit of a megamouth, talked very loudly thru our entire meal , as it's quite an intimate room, I felt I was in their meeting !! don't suppose owners can do much about it , but it took the edge of what would have been a fabulous experience.
I will go back , hopefully mega mouth and friend won't be there

Endroit charmant, notres hotesse était d'une gentillesse incroyable. La nourriture était délicieuse, vraiment ce que l'on attend d' un petit déjeuner anglais. Nous arrivions de Folkstone. Nous y retournerons certainement à notre prochaine visite.
