Been to Poppies this afternoon for a breakfast barm. Bacon was cooked to perfection (been to other places and streaky bacon can be undercooked and stringy) the farmhouse sausage were really tasty and fresh. Arguably the best coffee around too. Service was brilliant, very attentive staff. Cafe was very clean. It was great to see kids in the play area and people sat outside enjoying the sunshine. Lovely place and will definitely visit again very soon.

The Afternoon Tea Takeaway Box is a perfect treat. The box consisted of finger sandwiches, scones, jam cream, strawberries, and cakes. All were generous size and delicious, the scones were so fresh it was as though they had just been baked. The cakes were delicious, and the sandwiches lovely and fresh. An ideal birthday treat. Well done Poppies 11!

Truly fabulous service from Joseph in putting together an afternoon tea of sandwiches and cakes at very short notice - a great selection of goodies! A true professional, he made a special service seem like it was no effort and wouldn't even take a tip. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Excellent. Love this cafe. Chicken salad was lovely, and having easy options for baby weaning on the menu is genius. I went completely unprepared assuming my boy would sleep but instead he had hummus and cucumber sticks.

Had a great but all too swift visit today. I was advised that there'd be a bit of a wait for food, but it arrived quickly. The play room kept both my 3.5 year old and my 11 month old happy while we were waiting. The food is simple and no frills, which suits me perfectly. The only problem I had was that we had to leave so soon.

Great cafe. Menu caters for all, especially the children's food which is fantastic. Very reasonably priced. My two year old daughter loves the kids area which is clean and safe. Also the menu does have a full cooked breakfast - earlier comment says they don't offer this but it is now on the menu.

Lovely little cafe with really friendly staff. It's very reasonably priced and they do smaller portions and pick n mix options for kids (choose from cheese, grapes, carrot sticks etc) which is perfectly for food not being wasted. The children's milkshakes are great, too, and portion sizes are sensible. Atmosphere is relaxed and there's seating indoors and outdoors. There's a separate small room for children, with TV, colouring, toy kitchen and books. Small but clean loo with baby changing facilities and there's a separate building/room for parties. I've attended one of these for a kid's birthday and it was great - we were well attended to when needed but still left to our own devices. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely family friendly cafe. We went with our almost 3 year old and 3 month old. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space for prams and great play area for children. Very breastfeeding friendly and offered me a glass of tap water whilst feeding.

Such a great little cafe! So child-friendly so you can have a coffee while the kids play. The children's area is probably most suitable for toddlers and up, but we took our baby girl as well and she loved all the colours and the bookshelf. We'll be back.

Love this place - the staff can't do enough to help, nothing is too much trouble. They are always polite, professional and smartly dressed. Very popular with the locals, I drive more and 4 miles to visit and the coffee is the best in town. Food is always fresh so no complaints from me and I have never heard anyone else complain either. Keep the good work up guys - I hope to visit again soon c

What a find! A brilliant family friendly cafe at last! They have a dedicated room for children of all ages within sight and earshot of the adults who are all in a similar disposition so the anxiety of going to any other coffee shop with toddlers (and disrupting the non child bearing adults) are diminished. I travel from Cheadle Hulme in the car with the sole purpose of visit this gem of a cafe. Coffee and food is good as well!

At first I was a bit wary when it was suggested to go there but I was pleasantly surprised really nice place obviously they are catering to families nice indoor play area for the kids I had a bagel that was absolutely fantastic my mum had a cream tea and because they're baker and let them down on their normal scones they gave her to because they were smaller than the normal sizeI think it's really good value for money not a kind of place you go if you're just an adult on your own and you want some quiet time but for families absolutely perfect great time
