The vegan breakfast is the most amazing thing I have ever eaten, even if you aren't veggie or vegan you really should try it just once!
They offer a great variety of meals and cater for many different types of eater, you can customised your order. Good cake varieties if you're that way inclined. Don't think there is any parking but there is a Morrisons just over the road where you could park and pop over the road for your morning coffee. Prices are reasonable and it is wheelchair accessible, has toilet facilities. Not sure if they offer takeout.

New owners have done a complete refurbishment. Clean and comfortable. No more rickity chairs. Kitchen is in full view, very clean. New toilets too. Good result. 6/4/17.
Old review....
It started out fabulous then went seriously down hill . Poor service, poor hygiene, everything. It's now changed hands and having a big refurbishment. Hopefully the new owner will do his best. This was a great place . Let's hope it will be again.

Really yummy food BUT be prepared to wait for at least 30 mins minimum for your food to arrive. There's plenty of staff on hand, but every time I've been there they seem to spend the vast majority of their time chatting at the counter as opposed to, hmm, I don't know, maybe COOKING AND SERVING. Like I said, food is delicious but takes forever and a day to arrive and no mention of an apology for the time taken.

With the city on the doorstep I often find that I don’t make the effort I should to sample the independent restaurants in the suburbs that I should. One of those is the Post Box Cafe in Chorlton. I first went here about a year ago when they were host the wonderful event where the food was scrumptious. This time I went back to try their new pop up night ‘Happy Bundays’ and I’ve got to say it was long overdue.
The Post Box is well known for its locally sourced all day breakfasts and home baked cakes and treats however the night I went they chose to do something a little different.
Happy Bundays is a Pop Up diner taking advantage of the location offering a MADchester music inspired menu, with handmade burgers, steak burritos, posh hot dogs and a brilliant selection of sides.
I went for the ‘Inspiral Carpets’ posh dog, which was a foot long banger on a brioche roll. Smothered in chilli and topped with guacamole and jalapenos it was a real treat. It came with sides of home-made coleslaw (which I am not usually a fan of but the recipe was delicious, I could have eaten more) and fries.
Great atmosphere, great music, friendly staff and good food, what more could I ask for.
