Great little place with an old fashion style. Customer service: Lovely and happy people are working there. Great service. Babies: They are having baby seats that stick to the normal chairs. Payment: Card or Cash no problem. Car park: You can park in one of the side roads next to the café.

Found another great tea room. Now I’ve walked past this location a couple of weeks ago and it was raining again. Didn’t notice it but it took an opportunity to spoil my elderly mother on my next visit that I found this great tea room. Inside it’s CoViD compliant and with four table I booked a lunch. Didn’t get any names but it was a very pleasant welcome. So table booked and my mum offered early lunch but sadly she’d late breakfast. Tea and cake for her - whilst I had H/M meat & potato pie, red cabbage and beetroot with a coffee. Mum tea and chocolate cake. I ordered a steak & ale plus a chicken & mushroom to go. So total cost £22. The food was fantastic, the Nat King Cole back music was awesome with mum closing her eyes and drifting away to times gone by. All I can say is well done, keep it up and hopefully you never get to busy as to have no tables available or run out of you good, wholesome foods.

I ordered a take away afternoon tea for my mum and I and we were both impressed with the quality. The ordering process was very easy and collecting the afternoon tea was quick and efficient. The sandwiches were lovely- there was a good range which suited both of us. The cakes were fresh and tasty too. Thank you, I’d definitely recommend for a little treat!

I went in for a breakfast, problems parking for any person. The staff are very friendly ,fast and competent.there are only around half a dozen tables ,and can get full quite easily. There were seats available when I waS there. The food was very good. The prices very competitive. It was like going in someone s from room and having breakfast. Afternoon s tea was in the region of 15 pounds per person. Will definitely go there again. Menu for food and drink was extensive. Its a very welcoming place and people who go there always recommend it. Well worth a visit, staff are very friendly and helpful. Very competitive prices. Parking a problem, though I have seen wheelchairs on premises. Side street parking only. Have been there on numerous occasions and food and price remain the same, very good and highly competitive.

Afternoon tea last Saturday was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, with too much food, so last few cakes were boxed up for us to take home. The cafe is lovely and a little oasis of calm. The ladies were great and made us feel very welcome. My friend had been the week before for a potato pie lunch, which she said was also lovely. All good value for money too. Thank you ladies, we'll definitely be back!

Most deliciously fresh Bacon, Sausage and Hash brown with fried onions and mayo on a ban for breakfast at work can only be found at tea cup. Trish you are doing a marvellous job feeding us. Please keep it up. (Team Hadfields staff).

Wonderful service staff, couldn't do enough for our little family gathering for after hours tea. All arranged online this was for an aunty's 60th Birthday party. They played some of her favourite songs, provided sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiche and 2 types of cake. We could order tea or coffee as well as gins, wines and lagers, but no ales so ask if you can BYOB. The room is small, great for a close family or group of friends, probably about 20-25 people max. There's a tiny step into the premises but is otherwise all on one level.

I ordered afternoon tea for my Dad’s 90th birthday on 11th February both my Mum & Dad were over the moon said it was delicious and couldn’t eat for the rest of the day and even saved some for the next day. The presentation was wonderful & Trish even took photos for me as I could not get there due to COVID restrictions. Would definitely highly recommend The Tea Cup Cafe. Had a festive afternoon tea £22.50, it was one of the best I've had it beats the Midland hotel and the Gotham in my opinion, not only do you get a selection of warm savouries, you then get your delicious sandwiches, warm fresh made scones, prosseco jelly, mouse, a selection of dainty cakes you also get an ongoing suppy of tea and a lovely glass of prosseco or warmi.g mulled wine. A little ‘vintage’ gem! I’ve been 3 times now and it’s my new favourite place to eat! It offers an impressive selection of meals for all preferences and dietary requirements coupled with value for money. Would highly recommend! Can’t wait to try their ‘Afternoon Tea’!

Excellent little old fashioned cafe by which I mean service with an excellent menu from breakfast to mains and lots of choice in between. Friendly double act run it and my grandson recommends the home made milk shakes...only draw back is parking as its situated on the main road but worth finding a parking spot and taking a shirt walk to it. Shall definitely return.

The prices are ridiculously low for what you get, cracking quality breakfast meats sourced from a local butchers and home baked delicious cakes are just 2 examples of why I always expect to be paying a lot more than I do when I go here. Generally crowded on Saturdays as rather popular for afternoon tea, also do takeaway which helps.
