This is a lovely tea shop for which I have no hesitation to recommend for you to try. There's a great range of freshly prepared snacks available together with a full selection of teas and coffees. The decor is quirky and eclectic, my only (personal) observation is that the lighting is a bit too 'severe' for my liking. That said it does not put me off from returning. Oh, and there is plenty of on street parking.

Brilliant cafe that makes most of the food fresh. Wonderful deserts and cakes made on site. Excellant service, fresh clean and spacious. On site toilets. Take away service available. Full breakfast, egg and bacon barmcakes, paninis and much more. Great coffee.

A child friendly cafe with welcoming staff and owners; who went above and beyond to make me and my little one comfortable. The full English breakfast was nice and I enjoyed the coffee ☕ The 2 cute bunnies at the back of the cafe we're an added bonus 🐇

I ordered the large breakfast off Uber eats and it was hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I didn’t want the mushrooms, black pudding or tomato and they gave me extra bacon and hash browns instead, even wrote a note on the packaging. everything was really nicely cooked, even packaged the toast separately so it wouldn’t be soggy when it arrived, when it did arrive it was really warm and fresh! Really really impressed and would definitely order again, 👍🏼😊

Tucked away from busy main roads, this lovely eatery serves homemade delicious savoury and sweet foods. Always have specials for the day. A large selection of teas and fresh coffee. Much prefer popping in here for lunch than giving service to the big chains. Support local businesses always.

Visited many times & never had a bad experience. Lovely little play corner for children. Also had an afternoon tea baby shower for a friend not long ago, after the new owners took over. They did a fantastic job & having the place to ourselves worked perfectly. Thank you!

Have always liked this cafe which is tucked away on Houghton Lane next to the hairdressers. Lunches, afternoon teas and cakes- what more could you ask for. Quirky, nostalgic decour and friendly staff. One negative - very cold inside. I can understand the cost of heating a room as large as this tea room but the temperature did spoil my visit today.

A great little find in Swinton, Salford. Had heard of it by reading internet reviews and we weren't disappointed. Staff were friendly and helpful which was lovely. Tea served in mismatched China & Pottery, which was a nice touch. Filter coffee (Americano ! ) was extremely good but the 🌟 🌟 of the show were the fruit scone and the Carrot cake. Both homemade and I have to say the Carrot cake was the best we'd ever tasted : moist, light in texture and the taste was sublime. In fact, I could have eaten another piece as it was so good.😀 Pop in, we're sure you won't be disappointed. Tranquilitea is based at 20 Houghton lane, Swinton M27 0FQ. Open 7 days a week.: Apart from : Sunday 9.30 - 1.00 pm and Monday 9.30 - 2.00pm, each day is 10.00 - 4.00 pm

Friendly tea/ coffee shop. Good cakes and snack menu, breakfast also served. Play corner for children keeps them occupied. All in all, an asset for our community and a pleasant meeting place.

Best breakfast in worsley / swinton. Ideal for kids- there's a cool (but calm and clean little 'potter' area for kids) I go here for a coffee and breakfast and my son plays with the train or draws on the blackboard. Friendly staff and good value.
