Great coffee and cakes . I got a take out flat white and it was the perfect temperature - not burnt like so many other places ! I also got a delicious cake too . Will definitely return !

Great little place!! I had breakfast here, the food is lovely! I had a latte a cruffin and a savoury croissant, the latte was lovely I really enjoyed the coffee taste, the croissant and the cruffin were delicious! I recommend this place for a quick bite or a relaxing afternoon. Ill definitely back next time im in the area.

Brew and Bite kept me sane throughout lockdown. Just knowing there was a tiny place of cheer, pastries and good coffee helped break up the days. Also, the coffee is top-notch, perhaps the best in Heaton, and the Portuguese custard tarts are great.

Had tea, coffee, a couple of sandwiches and a cake to share. All were lovely, the pot of tea was huge and the cake (a Cruffin) was absolutely delicious. The cafe is lovely inside with a couple of rooms upstairs available. The service was brilliant. If I had one complaint it's that the tea and coffee could/should be hotter, but it was still very enjoyable regardless. Would definitely recommend.

My favourite place on Chilli Road! Jess and the team have created a lovely, unhurried, community atmosphere at Brew & Bite, with a genuine warm welcome for everyone. Unreal cakes (all baked on-site!) and delicious coffee. If you're a regular, the 'VIB card' (£35 for unlimited coffee for a month) is really excellent value. Long live Brew & Bite!

You need to visit brew & bite. Now. ☕️ Honestly. The best brunchy place ever. My cousin and I visited the shop recently, the staff were so so lovely and accommodating. Plenty of recommendations and happy to help us. We settled on a dot bagel filled with pesto, sun-dried tomato and cheese! It came toasted and was delicious! And then we had to get a kinder bueno cruffin (honestly the best thing I’ve eaten in 2021 ✨) and a cookie (based on the staffs recommendation). We were ready to go back and order everything else on the menu 🤤 We had oat milk lattes to drink which were absolutely lovely too. I am looking forward to coming back to brew & bite when it is able to serve - I spotted the upstairs seating area which will be lovely to try when life gets back to normal! Thank you brew & bite ☺️☺️☺️

An elegant little niche coffee shop with a rustic basic feel and look to it super friendly and helpful stall and very polite. The coffee was very good and stands up to any of the other coffee shops. The down side is parking on the road is limited but not impossible well worth a visit

You know I do love this place BUT the price for a normal bru and cinnamon swirl is almost £7.00 It's pushing it and that is why I don't go very often. I love it because they do great cake and buns and those kind of things. It's just very over priced. We are still in the North East, Not London. Staff is friendly but their efficiency isn't great. I stood there waiting to be seen to for 18min one time. And it was because the member of staff was talking to a customer. I left. But they do great cake, cinnamon swirls, buns and other goodies. Just being honest and fair Brew & Bite.

First time at Brew & Bite today and I will definitely be back! Hot chocolate was unreal, homemade I hear! I had the sweet potato festive sandwich on sourdough, which was super super tasty. Would highly recommend! Staff were friendly and even bagged some really well priced loose leaf tea to try when I get home. Will be back!

I was having a terrible morning when I went to get a cup of coffee however the staff were so lovely, they completely lifted my mood and I ended up having quite a nice day because of them. The coffee was one of the best I've had in a while and I also got a cake which was delicious. I was able to use my reusable mug which is amazing and they packed my cake completely plastic free. So 11/10 in my book!

Overpriced and undertasty. The buns taste like thick bread dough with a sprinkle of sugar on top. These people need to visit other bakeries to gauge what’s good. Maybe I just don’t get it, in which case I’m all the more glad.

The first time I had a coffee here it was amazing . Second visit, coffee was nowhere near as good although the food was nice. However, found it very expensive! Over £16.00 for two 8oz coffees and bagels! Great customer service but I cannot justify that price for a tiny poor coffee.

It serves bagels and coffee. But not just any old bagels , these bagels should be illegal. They are some of the tastiest , packed with great quality goodness bagels I've had in a while it's definitely worth visiting to start your day off right. Oh the coffee is pretty good too.

The nicest coffee ever and the service is always friendly. The cakes are really good, the toasties are really fresh and tasty and the addition of Northern Rye pastries and bread tops it all off the perfect spot to spend a Saturday morning, rain or shine

Everything I had from here was great... Apart from the coffee. Which is a shame as I think that's the only thing from these guys. I believe all the food is from other local businesses. It could have been a one-off but I don't live in the area so won't be rushing back to find out. The food is worth the trip but if you know where it's from, the source will be just as good.

Great little cafe on chili Road. Sometimes the coffee is never hot enough, like if you wanted to walk to heaton park to enjoy it, it might already be cold. Nevertheless, great quality coffee and staff are always friendly and welcoming

Ordered a couple of their Dot Bagels sammies and they did not disappoint. I’ve had a hard time finding a decent bagel in Newcastle but these reeeeally delivered, flavour and texture wise. More similar to NYC style bagel rather than Montreal style. I’ll be going back as much as possible!

Staff here are great! Always a good time going in there. We’re in lockdown no sand they are open and have a little shop that saved me a few times with weird ingredients I couldn’t find elsewhere. The coffee is great! Highly recommended

I went to buy beans from their shop and they'd marked up the price by £4.50 from its original price (£8) that you can buy online from HasBean or else where for a far more reasonable price, I expect a mark up to support a business but more than 50% of the price!? Very disappointed I was assured that it was a 'special variety' hence the price difference, but this variety is not exceptionally any different from their normal price for HASBean! Ripped off... 😡😡😡
