Well, what a hidden gem this place is!! 5* food at unbelievably low prices. The staff here make the atmosphere wonderful! It truly shows in their performance, how much they enjoy working! I will definitely be returning asap. And hope to bring my mum for a lovely treat too! A big thank you to everyone at Cafe Beam. I've thoroughly enjoyed it 😀

Popped in here today with a colleague and the disabled lad we support and it was a brilliant experience. The staff are absolutely wonderful and are very attentive, and the food (and coffees) were amazing. Our compliments to the chef. It was also so wonderful to see how dog friendly the place is - with one lucky dog being given plenty of cool water and a big bowl of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. 10/10 See you all again very soon. Wow fabulous cafe. My daughter and I visited this morning for brunch. I wish that every establishment had the quality of customer service that Cafe Beam has. What a joy. Always amazing food and drinks, and the staff are wonderful. Its lovely that you are able to take your dogs, and they have a little yard to sit in when the weather is nice. Parking isnt too bad around the cafe, but it is on a main road. Highly recommend pancakes!!!

What an amazing little place and great value for excellent friendly service and great food. I'd never heard of Eggs Santiago before but BLIMEY what a treat. Busy cafe, which is always a good sign. Situated in what looks like a Victorian office. I ordered poached eggs and guacamole which was great and included spring onions which nicely lifted the dish. Decent coffee. Reasonable prices. Nice people.

This place is absolutely brilliant. All the staff are really friendly and very helpful, the layout is welcoming and relaxed and nicely decorated. The choice of food is superb and well priced. I had eggs benedit with chorizo and edible flowers (seriously good looking plate of food).and my wife had the smoked salmon sandwich. There was plenty on the plate and the food looked and tasted amazing. We had such a lovely time and they are dog friendly (they even have something for the pooches on the menu). Please visit, you won't be disappointed 😊

1st time here, but certainly not last. Only regret, I haven't been visiting over the summer, whilst garden looks absolutely lovely (but it's too cold now for it). Service top notch, despite we grab just drinks. Next time need to try their pancakes stack, or full English, which looks particularly interesting.

Fantastic cafe run with excellent staff. The two young gentlemen who took and served my order have exceptional customer service skills and the decor is fresh. I loved the pictures of trams in Newcastle city centre and the little outdoor area was beautifully finished.

Lovely little cafe. The young people working there are friendly and enthusiastic. The coffee was good and hot. The cakes looked delicious although we didn't have any this time. Prices are very good. Today was our first visit but we will definitely be back

We visited Cafe Beam early last Saturday morning and were greeted by friendly staff. We can definitely recommend the bacon and egg bun for only £2.50. The bacon was thick and the egg very fresh and yellow. However, we did want a scone with our tea but again they were too well done. We have mentioned the scones before and they said they are cooked somewhere else but we definitely think something should be done about them. Over all we think the café is definitely worth a visit as its a charity with a great atmosphere.

Wow what can I say I lovely lil gem of a cafe hidden away in gosforth I’m in Newcastle on work and I googled local cafe for a bite to eat and went here ... I was very pleased with my choice Staff incredible although it has a slight vibe of panic when gets busy it adds to character I’ll explain . As u can tell when u arrive the staff here have helpers with what I believe to be learning difficulties .. but they do a fab job and make sure u have everything u need and more very very VERY impressed food was amaizing had the eggs royal with smoked salmon and it did not disappoint ❤️❤️ Wil deffo return when in Newcastle again

One suggestion would be to advertise yourself a bit more maybe, when we arrived it took us a while to realise where to door was, had I just been walking past I'd of not known about the Caffè there at all- only cause I googled did I know there was a Caffè there somewhere x

Cafe Beam ? FANTASTIC !!!!! I called into Cafe Beam today after an appointment at the Freeman Hospital , this was my first visit , although I have had the privilege of seeing some of the outstanding young people that work there a couple of years ago at a pantomime at the Theatre Royal a couple of years ago . We were served by a young man who's name sadly escapes me ! But he was very enthusiastic and his witt and talent was second to none ! He instantly brought a smile to my face !!! ( I have Son with Autism and it was a wonderful feelings that one day he would aspire to being like this young man ! ) as if this wasn't enough !!! The coffee and food was amazing , excellent quality and very reasonably priced , as a Qualified Chef , I could see that food was outstanding and very well presented !!! The young man who served us put a little sign on our table saying " who has been a mentor in your life " That , for me would be my DAD ! He was amazing !! And always gave me something to aspire to !!!! That is What Cafe Beam is about !! SOMETHING TO ASPIRE TO !!! To some up ! Lovely , clean Cafe , excellent quality food and Service to make you smile !!! Don't miss out !!!!

Just visited the new location for the first time to get my afternoon coffee (and a crispie cake :) ) to take out. The cafe looks amazing, and was very busy with a very nice atmosphere. Brandon served me, told me it was his first day on the job and was learning how to make coffee. You wouldn't think so, he made a great cup! A brilliant addition to the high street.

What a lovely place😁😁😁, very clean and tidy, staff are very attentive, the service was second to none. We went for breakfast, I had eggs Benedict which for me was a delicious alternative to my usual full English, poached eggs were cooked to perfection. My good lady had On toast; bacon, asparagus, sun dried tomatoes with poached eggs, chilli and parmesan, I have to admit I had a bit of food envy when it arrived so will have to go back and try myself. My good lady's mum had the full English which also looked amazing and just the right amount. Coffees were fresh and well made, I really enjoyed my capacino and my good lady said the same about her Americano. Plenty more on the menu for us to try. We would recommend this place to all, they have recently moved to new premises located on the high street in the old fire station depot so if your in the area get yourself along you won't regret it👍
