J. B.Relaxed, higher end café in Ponteland. Child and dog friendly. The food was excellent, with the patisserie being the star of the show - the cakes were excellent and the gentleman behind the counter was, rightly, rather enthusiastic about them. The savoury food tasted great, but I felt like I could have eaten another one.
Pro tip 1: it can be busy, so be prepared to wait a bit.
Pro tip 2: the building used to be a Lloyds Bank and the cafe has retained the powered double doors which means that they don't always react quite as you might expect, for example they can continue to open even after you have stopped pushing. Just relax and chill - it's not you, it's just the doors doing their thing!

C. J.We visited during their first week after opening - fantastic! The cakes and pastries were utterly scrumptious and the mocha coffee was to die for. They use real Belgian choccy and it was the best mocha I've ever had. Give them a try, you'll love it.
