Absolutely delightful 'typical Italian' cafe. We had lunch there today and everything was just perfect. The food, the coffee, the ice cream and most importantly the really welcoming people. Also I was able to buy a packet Fregula Tostata - a favourite pasta and hard to source in Newcastle. There is blue badge parking very close by in Woodbine Road or obviously, if parked appropriately, on the double yellow lines in Woodbine Road. We love you Cafe Corsaro.

I swear I could find out this place is a front for the Mafia, and I wouldn't care it's that good. They could be fitting a snitch for some cement shoes in the back and I'd just be gorging myself on their pistachio cake. Come here and feel like part of The Family.

Café Corsaro is the place to go for a welcoming staff and a rewarding culinary experience. Cappuccino is at its best and I recommend the provolone cheese and ham ciabatta. Unforgettable!

My favourite restaurant/ cafe on Gosforth High Street. The owners are charming and friendly and everything on the menu is on point. Pizza, fresh pasta dishes, gorgeous coffee, wine etc. Lots of wonderful Italian product. Small business but perfectly formed!

The most authentic Italian cafe and food in the city. What a great find. As soon as you walk in, there's a warm welcome. We went in for a coffee, which was great, but ended up having the most amazing minestrone soup, mushroom risotto and toastie. All for less than we'd usually pay for a couple of coffees and a piece of cake. Sorry I wish I'd taken pictures, we were too busy enjoying the food. Having said the taste could never be appreciated in a picture

Love going here. I don't go often as not really nearby. But had to pop in and say ciao to my friends 😊 after such a long break. Friendly, delightful foods for lunch, lovely to just sit and have coffe, listen to Italian music or even watch it on TV. What more can you want. 🎶📺☕🍮🥧 😊

Have visited this great cafe three times now and absolutely love the place. Great menu, fantastic staff and a lovely atmosphere. My friend and I got the bruschetta to start which we get everytime with meatballs for our main which was delicious! Highly recommended if not already been!

What an absolute gem of a place! I have been there time after time and it’s just as mint every time I go. Really tasty dishes (try the capers and anchovies pizza!) and all the team members there are genuinely nice folk. 11/10 from me!
